Episode description

Matt Hasselbeck played quarterback for almost two decades in the National Football League. He was a 3x Pro Bowler who threw for 36,638 yards and 212 touchdowns in his career, finishing 22nd all-time. With 11 postseason starts, 16th all-time in NFL history, he still holds many Seattle Seahawks franchise records. In 2021, the Seahawks inducted him into their Ring of Honor. Now, Matt is an analyst for ESPN, appearing on its signature Sunday morning pregame show, Sunday NFL Countdown. Listeners will hear what Matt means when he says, "I was prepared for it," and "you know it when you see it." Mark and Matt discuss learning from leaders, competing with oneself, and resiliency through transitions. Main topics include communication, longevity, and personal development.
