Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

This past weekend, we talked more about an important truth: the enemy loves to use fear — even something that feels as everyday as FOMO (fear of missing out) — to push us off course. He convinces us that if we don’t hustle harder, stay in control or anticipate every danger, we’ll miss out or fall behind.

Before we know it, we’re spending our Time, Energy, Attention and Money (our T.E.A.M.) in ways that were never part of God’s design — ways that drain us instead of deepen us.

But that’s not the life Jesus invites us into. He offers something better — peace instead of panic, purpose instead of pressure. Let’s recognize the fear tactics for what they are and return to a rhythm where we trust God with the outcomes.
