What To Do While We Wait
Luke 12:35-48

Signs we are falling asleep spiritually:

1) no appetite for spiritual things
2) prayer is an afterthought
3) reduce Christianity to conversion only
4) rationalize sin as an expression of personal power
5) fail to prioritize your faith
6) more opinions than experiences
7) often offended but rarely convicted
8) evaluate more than you experience
9) more preferences than priorities
10) obedience is determined by your willingness 


3. Be consistent, v. 41-48

Ephesians 2:4-7


Mental worship…

1. What emotions stir in you when you think about Jesus’ return?
2. Is there any spiritual truth that you have grown sleepy towards?
3. Do you understand the relationship between man’s nature and man’s need? 
4. How often do you think of God as kind?
5. Would you describe yourself as spiritually consistent? How would you describe yourself spiritually?
