Are you scared to ask for help for fear of looking incompetent or maybe it could be because of pride? Whatever it is, this self-handicapping behavior can sabotage your chances of success. While it is good to protect our self-esteem, it can also come at a high cost.

Asking for help as a sign of weakness is a misconception because in reality it is a hallmark of a mature and resilient learner.  In fact, the number one benefit in asking for help is RESILIENCE. If we are able to ask for help and obtain feedback, we can overcome setbacks and grow – one of the key traits needed to enhance our resilience.
