Pastor Doug taught from the Bible about the promise of eternity. There is a realm outside this physical world and many pursue their understanding of that world in a variety of ways. There are ways that are deceptive and unhealthy. There is also the Word of God that gives us truth and life. Pastor Doug encouraged us with the promise that eternity isn't something we have to be afraid of. Instead it is welcomed for those who are believers in Jesus!

Jesus didn't come to be served but to serve and He calls us to serve as well. Pastor Doug taught from the Word of God about what the mind of a servant looks like.
Pride is inherently selfish. When our pride is unchecked it can damage our relationships with God and with people, and it will eventually poison our soul. Thankfully Jesus came in spite of our pride and offers us life that sets us free from our pride.
Pastor Doug taught about what makes a church healthy. Multiple leaders, faithful pastors, and a body of believers who serve one another are just a few characteristics of a healthy church
Jesus has many reasons to heal us. He wants to bring glory to His Heavenly Father. He heals to show that he has conquered sin, disease, and death. He heals to show his victory over the enemy. He heals because he loves us. Pastor Doug encouraged us in the Word and we prayed for healing. What a great time!
