Episode description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) processes petabytes of data in its operations, and that amount of data is only expected to grow. At DoDIIS in Omaha, NGA CIO Mark Chatelain told GovCIO Media & Research that artificial intelligence and machine learning are improving data processing so humans can focus on analyzing it for targeting, warning and support.

Chatelain also discussed the latest developments in NGA’s zero trust journey, the agency’s partnership with the private sector and the future of geospatial intelligence.
