Joining Mark Devlin for this instalment is Texas, US-based researcher and writer Wayne Bush. He runs the website www.trickedbythelight.com, which puts forward a fascinating hypothesis that humans live in a holographic prison, and for what happens to the spirit-soul after physical death. It's a response to the popular notion that there is a tunnel that souls go through to be with the loving light, Wayne points out. It's a familiar meme, and is even used as a source for jokes in movies.

But Wayne's theory questions whether this may be a trap laid to harvest souls by malevolent off-world entities, with these souls then used as a source of energy for the sun. Wayne details many of the clues that led him to postulate this idea, including the colossal amount of double-meanings and word magic that have been woven into the English language.
