PASSIONATELY COMMITTED TO JESUS OBJECTIVES: At the end of discussion, the participants will be able to: o Understand how does a person who has experienced salvation become a passionately committed disciple of Jesus. o Know the cost of following Jesus. HOOK: (The speakers are encouraged to create their own activity that will prepare the participants heart to listen to the topic) BOOK: Passage: Luke 14:25–33 LOOK: TO BE PASSIONATELY COMMITTED: 1. PLEASING GOD takes precedence over pleasing PEOPLE. - Luke 14:26 2. FOLLOW HIM regardless of the COST. - Luke 14:27 3. Everything you do in life becomes EXTRAORDINARY. - Romans 12:1-2 read in the MSG version TOOK: POINTS TO PONDER: o To be passionately committed to Jesus you must count the cost, it will cost you everything, but if you are willing to follow Him you will gain everything. o A passionately committed disciple does whatever it takes and sticks with it. This will require sacrifice.
