Episode description

In this episode, Jeremiah and E wrap up the fourth and final installment of their series on critical thinking.  This episode also serves as part two of a discussion about wisdom, discernment. and the scientific method.  Here they explore the intersections of philosophy and science to examine how we arrive at truth.

Using stoic principles and some major themes from various schools of philosophy, Jeremiah breaks down the quest for truth and meaning into three categories.

  • Taking personal responsibility to evaluate truths
  • Using moral wisdom or ethics to try, think, and grow forward despite a lack of objectively "right" systems
  • Understanding lived logic by living well and feeling happiness
