Brown Jr. Larry and Willie first met 23 years ago when Willie was in the middle of his 8 year run as the Mayor of San Francisco at the dedication of the Nate Thurmond Court in Golden Gate Park. Willie went on to open the doors for the young Good Tidings Foundation to build over a dozen facilities to aid the most marginalized youth in SF.
