The Gospel, Part 1: The Beginning of the Good News
The Gospel is the “good news.” And this good news not only brings hope in our dark times, it brings us the picture, message, and truth that God created us in order to love us.

The story of Rahab is one of tremendous faith. She had faith that believed all things are possible, faith that acts and impacts and faith that leaves a legacy of believing that all things are possible through God.
What does it mean to be a “cheerful giver?” This phrase is used often in reference to our giving but the context of the idea is where it really draws its significance and practical application in our lives.
When we give, we don't lose something. We are responding to what God has already given. Sometimes we're responding to financial gifts God has blessed us with. But every time we give, we are responding to the goodness and greatness of God.
Jesus is our model of generosity. His example is one of grace and love. The grace of Jesus is seen by Him joyfully giving himself and his riches to meet our needs.
One of our core values is Freely Receive, Freely Give. but conversations about tithing can be difficult. God calls His people to be radically generous. In this sermon, Pastor Bob looks at the generosity modeled by King David and the Israelites in building a Temple for the Lord.
Prayer and faith are the keys to our life’s impossible doors. Acts 12:1-17 shows us that even the most unbelievable things can happen if we pray trusting that God will work.
How we respond to life’s circumstances makes all the difference. It’s vitally important that we identify our triggers - those things that cause us to react in either a sinful way or a God-honoring way. Once we’ve identified our triggers we can retrain ourselves to make prayer our primary response.
How do we know if our busyness is what God wants us to do? How can we tell if we are just being busy-bodies? 2 Thessalonians 3 gives us a look into what it means to get busy for the kingdom without being a busy-body.
God’s truth is better than our truth, but because we are sinful, we tend to stray and believe false teachings. 2 Thessalonians 2 gives us insight into how we remain strong in the truth of God’s word.
This week we are studying 2 Thessalonians 1 to learn how we are considered worthy of God’s Kingdom.
This weekend we look to Luke 1 to study Jesus’ birth as it was foretold to Mary and Joseph. A familiar story that never gets old. Let’s see how this moment is still so important to us today.
What does Paul mean when he says to be blameless at the time of Christ’s return? We wrap up our time in 1 Thessalonians looking at how Paul is teaching believers to live.
Suit up, Jesus is coming! This weekend, we continue to look forward to the second coming of Christ and what that means for followers of Christ – both living and dead.
