Ep. 220 - Stained in Mediocrity

Hey Sox fans, welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. Nick and Pat recap the week that was for our Chicago White Sox. The South Siders lost three of four against the Royals in Kansas City then lost two of three to the Houston Astros at home. The Sox are (6-7) during the month of May and (14-28) on the season. They are nine and a half games back in the AL Central. So many questions but very few answers as to why this Sox team is so bad. General manager, Rick Hahn, was NOT available to talk to the media before the beginning of the most recent homestand. Manager Pedro Grifol had a closed door team meeting prior to Game 1 of the Houston series. The White Sox seem to be spinning their wheels, dealing with never ending injuries, poor play, lousy fundamentals and stuck wondering when everything will finally come together. The good news is that there is a lot of baseball left but the bad news is that there is a lot of baseball left.
