Ep. 214 - Space City to The Second City

Hey Sox fans! Welcome back, Nick and Pat recap the week that was for our Chicago White Sox. Series split with the defending champs, the Houston Astros kind of felt like a series win in a weird way. Dylan Cease was magnificent on Opening Day. Lynn, Giolito and Clevinger all held their own but failed to get through the 6th. Sox bullpen was shaky for most of the series, blowing a 3-0 lead in Game 2 of the series. Sox racked up a lot of hits but were terrible at converting with runners in scoring position. Yoan Moncada had an outstanding series, going 8-for-18 with a pair of home runs and doubles. Luis Robert had two jaw dropping catches in centerfield and flexed the power in the series finale. Lots of areas to clean up but coming home with a four game split feels pretty good. Sox send Michael Kopech to the hill for the Home Opener as the Sox take on the San Francisco Giants before heading to Pittsburgh.
