In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches we’re to love and pray for our enemies. Jeff, a recent caller, shared his struggle to apply this in a situation where people are harming each other.
In the same sermon, Jesus also teaches we should cut off body parts, give away our possessions, and be perfect like God. Was He being literal, or is the point to try our best and hope God grades on a curve?
