494 Premium: If you’ve not experienced GolfBoard at your course yet, you will soon. Possibly the most innovative invention for golf in a long time, GolfBoard is a cross between a golf cart, a snowboard, a surfboard, and a skateboard that doesn’t impact the spirit or tradition of the game. We first brought you GolfBoard on the Golf Smarter podcast in 2013 months before it was introduced at the PGA Merchandise show, where it was awarded Best New Product of the Year. That’s why so many courses are now putting them into their fleets. The GolfBoard is an easy-to-ride vehicle allowing golfers of all ages to ‘Surf the Earth’. Jeff Dowell, President of GolfBoard joins us with an update on their latest technology, explosive growth, leasing vs purchasing,  and how well it’s been working for destination, private, and public courses.
