Episode description

Retirement isn’t only a topic for old people, plenty of young people are concerned about it too!

Today, Efraim, a young adult not even finished with university studies, asks Doug why young people like himself should be concerned about retiring… even before they start to work.

In this week’s show, Efraim, Doug’s son comes back with more questions about retirement.

What should a young adult do to put themselves on the path to a financially comfortable retirement?

How can young people know how much money they will spend after retirement?

In a surprising response, Doug explains why it’s important to know how to spend your money when you need it, and not necessarily only focus on saving. Tune in to listen to the debate if you should invest all your money in the stock market and withdraw the money as needed, or should you set aside money for retirement and not touch it until your retirement party?

Efraim is a first-year business student, former IDF officer, and an entrepreneur, launching the “Day with an Officer” business. Contact him at: efraim@goldstein.co.il
