Well, I started off as stripping in Vancouver, so and then I met Shay Sites and like stripper and then yeah, the rest is history. I just came down here to shoot me maybe you know, some magazines to help my stripping career Hoover And then I was like, what am I doing? This is way more fun.
Yeah, we had we had Shay Sites on it last season actually, and we mentioned you because you guys have done so many scenes together, it seems like throughout the years and she had nothing but positive things to say about you and everything else. So what is it like when is that just she's a friend of yours so you're comfortable jumping into scenes with them? Is that casting found you guys perfect every time together? Why why do some performers do
so many scenes with one person? Not in a negative way at all, by the way, Yeah, I think like, well, in the beginning too. You know, we were friends and stuff, so we you know, I was just comfortable do that, and I just thought it was hot. We worked well to go and I mean it's nice to because some fans are still remember those videos and stuff, so that's really cool. Yeah. No, I was a big fan of Shay Sites back in the day and Shane. When we first started the show. One of the first names Shane
named off. He goes, We've got to try and get Kiana de Or on. I said, no, that's too big, Like, we'll never be able to get Kana de Or on the show. It's just not going to happen. And look here we are, all these years later of success. I know, hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and we have found her. So I alluded to you worked with people that have helped get Shane and I together, and that kind of leads into my next question here. So you worked with Miko Lee back in the day. Oh yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah. Uh. Dane and I set in the back of history class and we would just like, you know, that's where it's going. Yeah yeah, yeah. Freshman year of high school, we would sit there and just be like, oh yeah, boo and Shane would show show me something like on his phone. I'd like yeah, and we eventually came to the consensus. Miko Lee was just that was all Shane and I ever wanted in a uh A partner, Yeah, and a partner. I was going to say a performer, but partner works as well, so it's blurry
for me. You've also worked with Lily Ty, who Shane is a huge, huge fan of, Right, So when you're working with high end, hard working performers versus somebody who's like new to the industry or something like that, does it just make the shoot just go that much easier or is there some kind of fun in teaching newer performers, you know how the road goes? Yeah, on a on a set, you know, it kind of
depends. It kind of depends like on their vibe. Like generally sometimes I kind of prefer people that have been around for a little while because you know, you don't feel like, oh my god, even though you talk about it first, you know, like I don't want to like offend those like this is like what we do. But you know, it just it just kind of depends, you know, or if like they're new and they are
are really like eager and like and into it. Then it's fun too, you know, Like I shot with the Damian Daysky when he was brand new and he was look at him now and he was so dying quiet. I was like, is that kid gonna get off the phone? Yeah? Look what you did to him? Yeah? Yeah, you made him a pro? Like whoa can you see that in a moment? Can you see like this guy's going to be good someday? I mean you've been in the industry,
I can't definitely. And he is like sweet as pie, such nice manners and listened did what he told, you know, like when you show people things sometimes like Okay, we're gonna, I want to know, do this, and then they just go do their own thing, like you know, he was actually trying and listening, and I was like, right on,
Okay, that's kind of a necessity to make it. Like I mean for male and female talent in the industry, right, I mean you kind of have to take direction and yeah, not come in knowing everything right off the bat, right, yeah, or you know you want to you know, you always want to bring your own flavor, but when they're paying you to do a job, you know, you know, you do you know
what they ask for? Yeah? Absolutely, because I don't know. Maybe they're going for something, you know, like a certain book or they want I don't know, maybe the lightings like held together with duct tape, you know, just you know, do it thing. So was there any nerves from jumping from stripping to putting it on film back in the day or video whatever it was was, did you have I guess you started what ninety nine? I believe, yeah, I mean I was stripping in the late nineties.
I know, I went to this whole thing. So I was like, I didn't do like I didn't do any porn in the late nineties. But then somebody was actually Kaptain Jackie looked it up for me and it was like I did, but it wasn't sex. I guess maybe I was. I don't know, I was doing something naked on the video like, oh okay, that makes sense to me. So what was it like shooting in the early two thousands on a major set versus shooting on a major set nowadays?
How has it changed? Has the industry grown, how have the people interacted differently? And do you prefer one or the other? I would say from like back then, I kind of felt like it was more like of a tighter family, or you just kind of like knew everybody a little like you kind of knew everybody. So that's like a cool thing. I mean there's like definitely pros and cons too then and now, I mean, thank goodness, like for only fans. So you're not like stuck in like if
some director doesn't like you, then you're not working or something. I mean you can just you know, work and be as successful as you want now, like you don't have to play that company game. I mean it's good and bad, you know. So does that happen do and obviously no names. Do people get black balled like from working with certain directors or producers or this and that, like they just don't want that anymore? Maybe yeah? Or I think maybe I don't know if you can really get blackball from foreign
and ask to be for sure? Sure, I'm like, but maybe you know, like they don't want to hire you or they're just like salty at you kind of right, right, so it's not like a job city call time or whatever. Also, that's a great question. I never thought of that do you have because I assume they want no pun intended. They bang out multiple scenes in a day in a location. Is there like favorable call times versus non favorable call times? Well, for me, I mean I
would prefer to get there like in the morning and start. I mean, like before, yes, there's multiple scenes throughout the day, but not so much now. It's like, so I would like to get there in the morning because like I really didn't. You know, sometimes those days are like really long, so you're sitting around all day, Like in makeup, You're it was like, Okay, it's twelve midnight, You've been here since seven,
you know, get it on the poor guy. Well look, I mean if you're on the other end of the couch, this is I feel sorry for the guy. Bros and cons Right, Yeah, we wanted this job, buddy. Yeah, so, uh we talked to like a Trinity
Saint. Clair told us she actually preferred working back in the early two thousands on major sets because she said there was almost, like you said, more of a sense of community, but also like people just willing to help each other out and this and that, and now, she said, in a way, it feels so commercial on a major set that it's almost like there's a disconnect between it, Like you said, someone's on their phone or someone's this and that, But I would say it's it's definitely maybe I'm wrong,
and correct me if I'm wrong. Here, it seems like OnlyFans has given you female performers the ability to leverage that again, like you no longer necessarily need to be on this website's set that day, so they need you more than ever.
