In this series of episodes Erick and Deborah will share their experience as they “Ride Hard Love Harder”. This 18-day journey took them from Charlotte, NC to Columbia Mo, followed by Kansas City Kansas, Sturgis SD, Williston ND, Bozeman Montana, Idaho falls Idaho, Kennewick WA, Newport Oregon, Fortune Ca, Reno Nevada, Salt Lake Utah, Sidney Nebraska, Kansas City Missouri, Lexington Ky and back to Charlotte, NC for a total of 8152 miles.
Hear how in the first day they traveled for a total of 850 miles to Columbia Mo. and 930 miles the next day to the Devils Tower. Listen to their adventures of traveling during COVID, highway construction and being prepared for unexpected expenses as they rode couple for 1,181 miles between Williston ND, Montana, Sturgis to the Harley Davidson dealership in Yellowstone before heading onto Idaho falls, Idaho.
Kennewick, WA marks 41 states visited by Deborah’s on her motorcycle and rounded out Erick's 48 states and well over 50,000 miles traveled on his motorcycle. By day 12 the couple finished the Pacific coast and rode on to San Francisco, jumped on to the Golden Gate Bridge and over to Bay Bridge in 118-degree heat to Oakland California then onto Reno to Salt Lake City.
Erick and Deborah traveled 500 miles a day over the next few days stopping for a photo op at the Bonneville Salt Flats. From Salt Lake the couple stopped at the truck stop and hotel uniquely named " Little America" in Sidney Nebraska.
The couple continued to “Ride Hard Love Harder” as they ended the journey making stops at Frontier Harley Davidson before traveling to Kansas City, Lexington Kentucky and finally home to Charlotte NC.
