159 - Gleb Tsipursky and the Pro-Truth Pledge

Dr. Gleb Tsipursky is a tenured Professor at Ohio State University who specializes in the history of science and in the intersection of psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and medicine.  He is the President and Co-Founder of Intentional Insights, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers people to refine and reach their goals by providing research-based content to help improve thinking, feeling, and behavior patterns.

Gleb has made appearances on the Ra-Men, The Scathing Atheist, The Inciting Incident, Bi Any Means, Danthropology, Stark Truth Radio, The Gaytheist Manifesto, Cellar Door Skeptics, and The Humanist Hour podcasts. His writings have appeared in The Humanist, Free Inquiry, American Atheist Magazine, Skeptic Examiner, Patheos, and several other print and online media outlets, and he has made appearances on several different television programs.

Dr. Tsipursky joined us via Skype to discuss another initiative he has started - the Pro-Truth Pledge - which is an effort to reverses the tide of lies by calling on politicians – and everyone else – to commit to truth-oriented behaviors.
