#96 S4 EP 16: Kimberly Boggio's Spiritual Crusade: Fortifying Life with Faith Against Unseen Battles

So , father , we thank you so much for this day , thank you so much for what it's been . We pray God that , as we get ready to go into this conversation , you will go before us . We pray God that you would bless every diamond that is here , bless everyone who has a desire to understand what you're saying .

In this time , in this moment , in this season , father , we want to ask you to just simply have your way . Have your way in this place . God , we give you glory , we give you honor . In Jesus Christ's name , we do pray , amen , amen , amen and amen , hallelujah , hallelujah .

So , ms Kimberly , if you would tell us a little bit about who you are and what it is that you are doing , Okay , well , again , my name is Kimberly Boggio and I live in Oregon , in Central Oregon .

But I was raised pretty much in the in the Portland area , was raised in the Church of Christ , so my whole life was , I mean , my childhood life was growing up going to church Sunday morning , sunday night and Wednesday night . Childhood life was growing up going to church Sunday morning , sunday night and Wednesday night .

So you could say that my whole sphere was definitely Christian and I was very sheltered in that particular environment growing up . And my great grandparents were actually my some of my best friends and he was a preacher for 63 years . So I was always that child who was always interested in God .

I mean , I can remember as a child coming home from church hearing about hell and I remember looking up to the ceiling when I was going to bed and praying OK God , please do not let me go to hell . And I also remember too I know I'm going to sin , because everybody talks about everybody sinning and please God , if I sin , come find me , and he's always .

He's always done that . So I've that's one of the anchors , and that's one of the anchors I think in my life to knowing that he's . He never fails us . So going through life , you know , getting married , having three kids , it was a huge wake up call for me . I married someone who wasn't really a Christian .

He they did have some Catholic upbringing , but very little and so that was a complete culture shock to me . Obviously , going into that family and there was a lot of challenges , a lot of it just wasn't . You know , when God says I believe that's one of our protections he gives us is to don't be equally or unequally yoked .

Well , I did not listen to that and I did so . Unfortunately , you know , I did lean on my Christian faith to get me through a lot of challenges . The problem is I ended up becoming so bitter and frustrated just with being in such a loveless marriage that I decided to leave . But here's where kind of we're talking about .

Our enemies are up and quench the Holy Spirit and open ourselves up to those forces in Ephesians 6 that they talk about , you know , and we get this thinking that it's the person right in front of us that's affecting us and we've not really seen the clear battle of what's going on .

And I truly believe now that unless you're really rooted into God's word and I'm talking , I'm not talking a little devotional that you open up your Bible every single day and read a scripture , you're going to be putting yourself and your family in and all the blessings that god wants to give you in jeopardy . And it's not because he wants that .

God is is punishing us , but he is pleading with us to seek him and seek his protection . So , going through that time before the bitterness crept in I mean , it was after the bitterness crept in I also went to work in the mortgage industry , mortgage profession , and I'm so naive even to the secular world I mean I just trusted everybody .

I thought everybody was good and everybody knew God . Everybody loved God . No , they were sinning . They're just got to be mostly all good out there , you know . But I wasn't in the word every day and I didn't see that .

The Bible clearly says that the world is evil and you know , all of us are evil , right , no one is good but God , all of us are evil , right , no one is good God . So , um . So I was deceived , kind of like that same perception that Satan did with Eve in the garden that you know you could have a much better life if you were doing just divorce .

You know I even had Christians , friends that understood my situation , that said you'd be better off divorced . And so what's interesting about this part is that during this decision I was making Zahid was married for 16 years the leaders , the leadership at my company , had introduced the management team to a book called Law of Attraction , which is so unfortunate .

You know they were obviously not Christians , right , and me being so bitter and far away Sorry , I'm making it emotional- it's all right .

To me , gotta , it's to me , it's like jesus washing he's washing and cleansing you all over again so that you can go forth , uh , fully in him . So you know , it's just a part of the process . I trust me , I get it .

You know , and it's the thing that caught me off guard , is that it sounded so much like what God would want us to do every day and but it's such a deception .

It was such a subtle deception and and the other thing that I really want to impose on people is to know that the law of attraction is not just one deception thing out tool out there that's being used to pull us away from God and a relationship with God .

There's other things , and I hope that I can discuss them on my podcast because I'm doing lots of research on each one of those . Hope that I can discuss them on my podcast because I'm doing lots of research on each one of those .

But with the law of attraction and you'll see some of these other things is that one big red flag that I wish I would have flew in on ? Is that when somebody tells you that it's in yourself to become great , or it's in yourself . You can do whatever you want . You can heal yourself , you can do this , you can do that . That's .

It should be one big red flag that you're listening to the enemy . And um , I didn't . I didn't heed that warning , I didn't understand um , which is unfortunate , but I mean , I'm in the right place now .

So that's the , that's the blessing , um , but with that um , literally , I had written down things that I wanted to attract I thought were godly , but what ended up happening is I was so passionate about that that within three months , I was divorced , within three weeks , okay , after being married for 16 years . Payroll , I think , of this mortgage company .

They had hired a shaman to come in and speak motivational speaking to the group . Now , this was one of the number seven largest mortgage company in the country at that time , and so you know they had the money to be able to bring people like this in .

And again , it sounded so good , it sounded so wonderful and so loving and so caring , and the shaman was supposed to have these abilities for healing and and um , all kinds of things .

Well , I got connected with him and um , I just remember he , he would do like healing , massages and that kind of thing and I won a massage by him by doing something management team and I had gotten um to be to and he's really expensive and he's really hard to get , you know , to get into , see and um .

But I truly believe now , looking back , that what happened was , with that , whatever he was into , I mean shamanism , if you look it up , it has a lot to do with um chakras and it's very from very Hindu type paganism God worship , you know , pagan God worship , that kind of thing and um .

But what happened to me was I became very intuitive , more so , more than this normal um , so much so that I would know things about people . And it was confusing to me because , as a Christian , you think , wow , I'm having this insight , I must , it's must be from God , because what else would it be ? I'm not worshiping any .

You think , wow , I'm having this insight , I must , this must be from God , because what else would it be ?

I'm not worshiping any , you know , pagan gods or anything and everything that it seemed to me when I would go and talk to somebody and I would know something about them , they would cry and we would have this deep conversations about spirituality , about God , and I thought , wow , I really impacted someone's life in a good way . Today Was completely false .

So my frustration came , as I had asked some of my Christian friends what was going on with me and I wanted to help . And then what I also noticed is that I started losing everything . I lost my job , my house , my family , everything . So it wasn't a blessing in my life . Here I was practicing law of attraction .

Now I will say when I first started I thought it was a very deceiving carrot dangled in front of me . I guess I remember one thing I had written down , just for fun , because I heard that this is what you can do with law of attraction to attract money to yourself . So I wrote down I want to attract $20,000 . I want to attract $20,000 . $20,000 .

I want to track $20,000 . Well , I started that in January and in August I received a check for $20,000 from my company out of the blue . And so then it kind of like , wow , this really works , you know .

And so I just I just kept going down the wrong rabbit hole . I mean got farther and farther away from God and deeper and deeper into the demonic pit . And it looks so pleasant . It's kind of like that , you know , pinocchio playground , you go and you think , oh , this is so cool .

And then you start realizing , oh , this is not so cool , and things start happening and so , yes , I started losing everything and I almost lost myself . Trying to pull myself out of that . I was really , you know , crying out to God and asking what do I need to do ? You know , this is awful and I'm lonely . I really want a godly husband .

I want to spend the rest of my life serving him , but I was still so wrapped into all of this new age metaphysical stuff and I didn't even know what the word new age meant . So so naive , so just out there , completely not . I had a heart , wanted to follow God , but I had no armor on at all heart .

I wanted to follow God , but I had no armor on at all God's armor , no armor at all , and just like asking for somebody to send me a life raft , you know , um . So I , um , I .

I did meet my current husband now and he was going through some pretty rough things himself and I think that was just a perfect storm for Satan to really hurt us , and that's when a lot of the demonic oppression happened and I've seen things that I don't ever want to see . In my life .

I mean , we've had experienced demonic action in our home where , unfortunately , the Christians around me didn't know how to help that , so we had to research it and figure it out ourselves and so , as you can imagine , going through some of the stuff that we did , I'm very passionate about spiritual warfare .

Um , I'm very passionate about spiritual warfare and it's really not a fun thing to . I would rather just talk about the love of christ and all the joy and all that . You know everything . Amen , hallelujah .

I want to be there , but I think that god is using me now to bring a light to this spiritual warfare issue , because it affects so many people in their lives and they don't even know it . Um , so that's kind of a little bit of about my story . Um and I I don't know where you'd want to go from here .

I , I there's probably more details that I could share Um , I think that , um , we're getting hit . I don't see a demon in every corner .

Okay , I don't think that that's what it is , but I do think that there's so much more demonic um , deception , oppression , I mean , there's all kinds of ways that Satan comes after us , you know , and Satan does say , you know , he comes to steal , kill and destroy , and I heard it one time said that he wants to steal our money , kill our bodies and destroy

our relationships . And I can see that in scripture how that can be . And so if you're feeling like you're being attacked in all these areas , then absolutely you probably are . And I will say what I did , my husband and I , once we realized that this was going on and we had to do something .

I mean , obviously we turned to God , obviously you're praying , but that sometimes isn't the only thing that you need to do . Part of it is repenting , and I had so many things in my home that were so not godly that I had no idea I had crystals .

I probably spent four or $5,000 on these beautiful crystals and my thought process was well , god created them , so why would they be bad ? You know , I just wanted to surround myself with God's beauty , you know , and so I had those . And then I was dabbling in tarot cards , and then my girlfriend and I were doing the Ouija board , I mean , you name it .

I was probably doing something of that , but not understanding really what I was doing . And I've had of the day that was , you know , you can become almost your own God . But I didn't believe that I could become God . I just thought , oh God gave me the power in myself to bless me so , to be prosperous , to do all those things .

And reality , I realized it was a big fat lie . It's the same lie that Eve believed in the garden . Same exact one , just packaged a little bit differently .

Lot of manipulation was happening in the spirit , in regard , I'm talking about the enemy , manipulating you into thinking that , oh , this is okay with god , and that god , god , is the author of all of this that's going on in my life right now , and I think that , um , this can easily happen if you're not rooted , rooted , grounded and settled in Jesus .

Amen , in the word of God , I'm going to tell you a story that I just heard . Yes .

I'm going to share . So this man is talking about some tools that the Bible gives us to fight spiritual warfare , and sometimes we think it's just prayer and fasting , really only two things . But there's so many more and I'm learning how much more there is . But what he did is he and there's and it , and it's a thing I'm actually making mine , my own .

I have these stakes and on these stakes you can see them , I'm writing the verses , the Bible verses in the Bible that talks about spiritual warfare , protection , all those things , warfare , protection , all those things .

And in Deuteronomy , 6 , 5 , or 6 , 6 and 6 , 7 , it talks about how God commanded the Israelites to write the commandments and write his word on the doorpost of your home and write it on the gate , write it on your hand .

I mean , he was very clear about this and so he got this idea to do these stakes because of a neighbor who said that he had demons in his home , basically , and he didn't know what to do . He's a Christian , and I mean a lot of churches .

They don't talk about spiritual warfare , they don't talk about this kind of stuff , and so that's why I feel passionate about sharing it . Spiritual warfare they don't talk about this kind of stuff , and so that's why I feel passionate about sharing it .

But so he created these stakes and put some Bible verses on it and stake the man's house on his property , all four corners of his property , and the demonic oppression stopped . The man wanted to commit suicide . That's how , and he wasn't a Christian .

Okay , but now let me tell you the other story that really caught my attention is that he was , he was at a lecture talking to um , um , a church I think it was in little rock , if I remember correctly and after the lecture , and he was explaining about the and some spiritual warfare research that he had done , a gentleman was waiting to talk to him and he

came up to him and said and forgive me if I tell the story , don't tell in sequence , because it's his story to tell and I can give you his name . It's , I mean , incredible . But this man Christian man had a Christian family , homeschooled all of his children , his three children , and he said I have to ask you a question . I have three kids , my daughter .

About three years ago she was seven and she was acting up and she was doing some things that were just not . She didn't learn it from our family . He said we homeschool our kids . Our kids aren't allowed to have any iPads or iPhones or anything like that , any kind of influence outside . I mean , we monitor their television , everything .

But she started acting out and saying things like I want to kill you , I want to cut you , stuff like that , to her siblings . And they just didn't know where that came from . Finally , it got so bad that they had to sit her down to find out where she learned this from and where she got it from .

This is a Christian family that's doing supposedly all the right stuff , right . So she finally told them that there is a man that comes and visits her at night , named Legba , that sits at the foot of her bed and talks to her every night , and that's where she was learning this stuff . They were shocked .

They didn't know what to say , because how would she even be in ? Who is this , you know ? They just didn't know even be in . Who is this , you know ? They just didn't know .

So , long story short , they went to their preacher and asked for prayer and to come over and talk to her , and she explained that , yes , he does talk to me , and sometime he told me that he wants to take me to a fun land fun land , whatever that meant . And so they asked her well , did you go ? And she said no , and what ?

What did you think fun land was ? And a carnival ? I just didn't know , daddy . Okay , so , um , the preacher prayed over this girl and binded the demon or binded whatever was happening , right and left . It got much better in their house . I thought it was , you know , maybe it was resolved and they could go on .

But three years into this , after the prayer , they could still see some type of remnant or something like clearly in her personality there's still something there .

So she , um , so he had gone to this lecture where Steve was talking about spiritual warfare and about the stakes , and he said I really like the idea about staking your you know , our property and and all of that . So , anyway , they had this conversation and he gives them the stakes , it goes home .

I don't know if he does the stakes that night or whatever , but when Steve went home he said I'd never had this happen before and I've never had it happen after . But I dreamt about this little girl and somehow , when I woke up , I knew that I needed to call the dad and have the dad ask her three questions .

And the three questions were one did Legba touch her ? Two did Legba give her anything ? And three did Legba touch her to ? Did Legba give her anything ? And three did Legba introduce her to anybody ? And so the dad said you know what ? I'll ask her right now . We're homeschooling her . She's right here . I'll call you back in five minutes .

So he calls him back and says OK , steve , I asked those three questions in the same order you gave me . And no , legba did not touch her and no , he did not give her anything . But when we asked her about if he introduced her to anybody , she got excited and said oh yes , daddy , he , he introduced me to all his friends .

This is a seven-year-old Christian girl in homeschool . Okay , so if we think that we can't have this happen to us as Christians , we just have to realize that these things really do happen and we need to know how to help one another and to guard , you know , from these things .

Anyway , long story short , steve instinctively said that he knew that he needed to ask the dad one more question , ask her if there was any time that Lugba gave her some sort of a secret code that if she ever wanted to come to Funland she would just need to say this word or something and then she could just go .

And he said , steve , when we asked her that her head held down for about two minutes . But we were persistent , we needed to have the answer to that question and finally she looked up to her dad and said yes , daddy , but I wasn't supposed to tell you that .

So obviously , staking your home or guarding us , I mean , when I believe now that when I read Deuteronomy six , that God's not just saying that you know , write our commandments and my words on your post and on your gates and on your hand , it's because it's not just for us to remember how to obey him , but it's for protection , it's his power over us .

And so that's why I feel so strongly a part of this spiritual warfare , that we need to know what the scripture says about our the ability for God to give us power for our protection . You know what is the full armor of God ? What does that mean ? And if we come across these kinds of things , how are we going to protect , you know , our kids ?

And so the preacher that he went and did this lecture called him back and said did you ever Google legba , whatever that was ? And he said no , I didn't . He said Google it . He goes it's a pagan god , I think he said Hindu god or that's involved with voodoo , and there's a whole website and a movement of kids and other adults that go and worship legba .

So sometimes we kind of just go in our own little world and not realizing that all these things are going on around us and we need to be so diligent . And that's why I do believe when I read those scriptures say pull the full armor of God on .

That means when you wake up , you need to realize that today is a battle and , yes , there's glory and joy and blessings and everything wonderful , but that's a battle and we're all here to be in that battle and god gives us our armor , he gives us our protection and we just I think we we're so asleep at the wheel .

As christians , we don't even realize it , and so I don't know if you I'll . I'll kind of stop . You have any questions ?

I say that that is deep because , just a little vulnerability here for a moment my youngest daughter she just does awkward things sometimes that it just doesn't line up , and you know what you're saying it just speaks to that and I'm in my mind , I'm like , okay , god , you're showing me something , but what do I do ?

So you say , the armor of the Lord , can you just go a little ? We got about 10 minutes , 10 minutes , though a little bit deeper , for the parent , for the man , the woman who realizes that they are under attack , in the midst of a spiritual attack where , uh , cause , I believe that demonic activity and angelic activity is absolutely a thing .

I do believe that . I believe that there are , you know , legions of angels around us keeping us , protecting us , and all of that . And just like there's angels , I know that there's demons too as well . And so can you speak to that one who realizes it and doesn't know what to do with it ?

He gave us prayer and fasting , he gave us oil anointing , he gave us the post , you know , writing down these scriptures and things like that . Now , what I will say and I do agree , because , steve , I've been listening to a lot of his podcast on this , because everything he says like yep , that's true , yep , I know exactly that happened to be Yep , yep .

And so I'm thinking , man , we just we've got to be able to have more people that can speak into these things other than just one person , so he doesn't get bombarded , obviously , with that ministry . But the first offense is prayer

, obviously . But the second thing is okay , look , I had to do this too , and I'm constantly doing this , catherine , I mean , I'm even doing this this week because since I've started this podcast , I've gotten attacked a lot . I mean , I won't go into it , but it's been brutal , it's been hard , but I'm not giving up and I know exactly where it's coming from .

But I constantly have to look . Is there anything in my house that could be an open door ? Because you know , demons , they only can come in and interact with you is if you invite them . Remember it says resist the devil and he will flee from you .

So if you're not resisting Satan , then he's going to stick around , he's going to find a way in and he's relentless . And I'm not talking just about Satan himself , but demons , you know . So , looking around in the house , you know , is there ? Is there , um , anything that would be unglorifying to God ?

And I'm going to get real , you know , for listeners , cause they're thinking about this . Okay , so one of the open doors , one of the biggest ones , is pornography . Huge , huge open door .

Obviously , alcohol , um , and I'm not saying alcohol in small amounts , I mean the Bible talks about drinking wine and the having the joy of wine , but I'm talking about um , you know , you , I've seen people who have wanted to have a glass of whiskey and their whole personality changes , you know . So it's . I mean , we all have to be aware of these open doors .

There's um . What type of um ? Television is on ? What type of music thing about this spiritual warfare . It's so . It goes so deep and it's kind of like it's crept in unawares and some of the music could be so subtle .

But when you so , for now , on anytime that I download a song on my phone and I don't even care if it's christian music , because christian music can be some of the worst , as far as new age , demonic , and you don't even realize it . But I read all the lyrics and I even on Christian , I'm going to test it to make sure . Is this scriptural ?

Because there's so many lyrics to a lot of popular Christian music these days that are not biblical . And if you're singing those because it sounds so great and you feel like you're praising God , well , which God are you appraising , you know ? So it's the music , it's the , it's education . What kind of education are they ?

You know kids learning and what are they bringing into the home ? They could be bringing it in from school and you don't need , you're not even aware of it . Um , it could be . I mean . I mean , see what I mean . It's so subtle . It's so subtle . It doesn't have to be something blazing sinful , like pornography or something else .

It can be something so subtle that it just kind of has crept in , crept in unawares , and so it's a constant thing to go through your home and get rid of things that are possibly bringing in an open door . So that's that step . One prayer to cleanse your house . Is it books ? Do you have books ?

I mean , I do a lot of research , this and different Some things . There's some books in my house that I have to have that that proves what I'm researching and that what I do in all my books .

When I know it's for that , I take my book and I write in it in the very beginning what it's for and do not read , for you know , for something other than that I write in here . This book is a cultic and only should be used to expose this .

That's what I write because I don't want this type of book to be in my home and affect someone and be an open door for somebody . Um , I , I and a lot of it is just really soul searching in yourself to see where could it be .

Now , if you've done that and you don't think , okay , well , there's nothing in my home , okay , we'll look at even the secular things that . I know this is going to sound crazy , go to the extreme , but when you've been affected by this stuff like I have .

You will become extreme and you will want to tell people about it because you realize how damaging it can be . But I didn't . I don't even go and buy coffee at Starbucks anymore . And people say , why ? Why would you go to Starbucks ? Look at their symbol of their coffee . Go to Starbucks , look at their symbol of their coffee .

That symbol on their coffee mug is a Nephilim , it's a demon . Goddess , that's how subtle some of these things have infiltrated our lives and we don't even know it . So we're going to go , give money to get something like coffee and not even realize that something like that could be an open door door unawares , creeped in unawares .

So does that kind of give you a start ? And then I would look up . Look up people who dabble not dabble but who speak on spiritual warfare . Now I will tell you there are a lot of false prophets out there that are trying to make a lot of money on this stuff and I would steer away , steer clear . That should be red flag number one .

This stuff should not be something that you have to pay for , you know , but just and then , and then really just repent and ask God to show you what I need to do in order to protect my family , you know , is that . Does that give a little bit of a clue ? I mean , they can reach out to me if they want to .

Um , I'll help them get some of the resources that I've found . I don't have a problem with that . Um , I would always , always , have some sort of scripture written on either your clothing , a wrist , wherever you know . Think about a verse , go through if it's . If you're struggling with um , I don't know happiness .

If you're struggling with depression , put some verses of joy , write it on a piece of paper , even put it under your pillow at night , just any anything that you can do , you know , to surround yourself with the truth , versus all the crap we see every day .

I'm really passionate about people getting into the Bible , so I really am trying to create tools that will get them excited about reading and knowing their Bible , and that means not just the New Testament folks . This is God's the word , right , the word was in the beginning . The beginning was the word . That means from Genesis to Revelation .

This notion of we have to separate in for Old Testament to New Testament drives me nuts and I'm telling you a lot of those deliverance passages you're going to find in the Old Testament .

So the other thing that I'm working on is , first thing , in the morning posts on my social media just gives you a scripture and but trying to redo a lot of the damage that a lot of Christian posts have out there not just general secular Christian posts that they take a scripture and they try to preach a message out of context for their own gain , and I'm

done with that . So let's get back to the truth and let's take those scriptures and and really look at what the Bible is trying to tell us . And it's not all about the joy of the Lord , it's about warnings , you know .

And , father , we just give you all the praise and the glory for your power over us and we ask that , if there's anybody listening to this podcast that are having these difficulties or struggling with any of these things , that you will bring the right person and the people and the places events for them to get the truth and get the help that they need and to

get back to you , father .

We know that we are in a nation that is crying out for your deliverance and for your help , but please just put it on the heart of every listener to realize that before we can not before we can ask for help , but before we really get the deliverance that we need , we need to repent and turn away from what's binding us in the first place and allow you to

to free us from the things that are happening here , father , and we just ask that you bless Catherine and bless Michael , even though he wasn't here , and bless their daughter . And , um , her story isn't alone , because I have a granddaughter and you know , father , she's dealing with the same thing , so we're going to go through that same process together .

We just ask for us to work together as your church and help one another and love one another , and we ask your blessing on us today In Jesus name Amen .

I I know spiritual warfare is a thing , but I never actually have been able to be , you know , side by side with somebody who can really explain it . I read the book um john haggie I forgot the first name of it no , no , that's another book . Oh , what is his name ? I forget his name .

But every time I've read this book it's about spiritual warfare , spiritual warfare , and I read it twice the set .

Each time I read it , I had spiritual encounters the night of um , and you know , just quickly , before you're ready to go , I could just remember I had started reading the book about spiritual , spiritual warfare and it just seems like demonic attack just came out of me and I remember being in the bed and I felt a dark presence standing over me and the dark

presence actually literally grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up out the bed Enough to where I realized what was going on and I said in the name of Jesus , and I said it twice and just dropped me , boom , just like that . And I woke up and it was gone , just like that .

And that's because I was reading this book about spiritual warfare , and so I know that it's not a game , it is a very serious thing . And so if you're not ready and you're not rooted , and you're not grounded , I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole .

That's just a fair warning to everybody that is listening . If you're not rooted and grounded in what is true , don't mess with it . Don't mess with it . Don't mess with it , right , amen . So again , we thank you , miss kimberly , for being here . God bless you .
