#49 S3 EP 10 Diamonds in the Rough: A Journey of Spiritual Refinement

You know what I mean , and so that was our initially our goal , and still our goal is that we can use our personal life , things that we've learned over the years , together and separately , and attach the Word of God so that we can be a help to you . That's what it's all about . You want to add anything on it ?

Right , because you're not . If you're not going through something , that means the devil has a whole grasp and and just reach on you .

And you know , the vision was given to me and my husband , Michael . He came alongside and just really supported and began to add to what God was doing through the vision that he had given me for this Amen . And so we we've shifted a couple of times , with length , with days , And now it is officially every Friday night at 9pm And the website .

See , we got to begin to decree that thing , Hallelujah , And declare it I am a diamond . There is something beautiful about me , Hallelujah .

God created me for his glory , Hallelujah . And that's what we have to walk in . And we got to not only walk in it , we got to think it and be it . Jesus , come on somebody . You got to walk the walk and talk the talk , Hallelujah . What's your thought ? You got any thoughts on it ? No , Well , how about you share the part ?

Let's see if you can get it A part of the development of a diamond .

shifting around And that's how the diamond starts coming to the top , But then it's not finished yet . This has to knock all the rough edges and the muck and the minor off of it , because you know you just not going to dig a diamond out and just hand it to somebody . Right , It has to be formed and and knock some scratches off of it .

Even sometimes you even got to have the scratches only to make it look beautiful , Right ?

But you know , it lies , the , everything that forms the diamond is underneath volcanic eruption . Amen , That makes sense . That makes any sense . It's underneath where , a , where he gathers that sooner or later it hits the air and erupts And that the , what is underneath , comes the surface through the molten lava which is the heat .

Ok , once it comes up above ground , it then hits the ground as it grows and it flows from all different directions , it settles and it settles the , the V . As it settles , the clarity of the diamond comes forth . Amen , hello Velita , the clarity of it comes forth . And what do I mean ?

I mean the beauty that is within the diamond begins to , because while it's in , while it's out of sight and within the rocks , and in all of that it's , it's being , i don't know how to say it , but outside of being clarified And beautified . You know what I mean . It has a sparkle , it has the . You know the imperfections , the uniqueness about it . Amen .

This is , excuse me , the walk of a diamond . It doesn't . It's not . All diamonds are different . You know what I mean . All diamonds , i mean . You got pink diamonds , you got brown diamonds , blue diamonds , all kinds of diamonds that are formed within heat . Amen . And you know you got to . we parallel that with the trials of life , amen .

The temptations of life , the things that we say we believe , the things that we say we believe is tried with , tried by the fire , hallelujah . And it's just just when we look at the , at the , at the life of a believer , and we look at the life of a diamond and parallels together Amen .

That is how we came up with the concept and what we've been driving with since we started . Amen .

And you look at Isaiah 61 and three , he says to point unto them that morning , zion , to give unto them the beauty for ashes , the oils for joy for morning , the garments of praise for the spirit of heaven , is that they might be called trees of righteousness , the planting of the Lord , that they might be glorified .

And you know , even speaking about the ashes , he said it's beauty that comes within the ashes . That's right . It's beauty that comes within the volcano , that's right . It's beauty that comes beyond the ground And where we formed , we're formed from the ground . He got in his hand a handful of dirt and blue , blue breath into our body . That's right .

He said there's beauty in it .

Look , just because life is happening to you doesn't mean that you've fallen out of his favor , doesn't mean that you still aren't blessed , doesn't mean that you aren't favored by the Lord . Hallelujah . He said I will never leave you , nor will I forsake you . Hallelujah , amen . But those he loves , he prunes or he chastens , amen .

The things that are dead in your life , that are hanging on to you just because they can , he's going to get rid of it , hallelujah , amen . Those that are here . You think anything coming to your mind that we can talk about in this moment that somebody might have a question about ?

at our lives and we ask ourselves you know , what season am I in ? Right , yeah , that's powerful because and I say what season ? on my end ? because you know you wouldn't go outside .

Well , if you got , if you got , if you got sense , you know you wouldn't go into the winter with springtime close , you know , and you wouldn't go out in springtime with winter clothes or summertime winter clothes , because you're gonna get hot . And we got to ask ourselves and ask God what season of my life am I in ?

I was just adding .

If you don't act like I say , if you don't ask him what's in my season and my , what season of my end , you won't know . Amen . That's how many people are tossed to and fro by every word of doctrine because they don't know , they don't ask the right question . so , with that being said , what is your question today ?

And you know , for me , i have a hard time trusting people that's trying to tell me something that ain't that , ain't never been there . You know what I mean , that has never experienced what I'm going through .

Hallelujah , because one thing that I know that I have I myself , i put myself particularly in this podcast , i put myself out there and I share things that are personal , that I don't necessarily want everybody to know , because , because more often than none , people take your personal experience and then they judge you by it .

You know what I mean and what we got to realize is that our personal experiences are there in our life and in order to make us and mold us and shape us into who we are today . You know what I mean . What's your thought , honey ?

But I lost my trying to talk this man .

Amen To God , be the glory . Thank you so much for that shout out . Amen , it's alright . Okay . So Alan has a question . He said how is the podcast different from your live broadcast ? He said what makes your podcast different from the thousands out there ? You can't stay about it first .

We do every day , monday through Friday , at eight o'clock , called learning to live in truth , and we dissect the scriptures not in a theological manner but in such a way that it becomes a help for you to get to the revelation that God is speaking to you And for me . I think that that is the biggest difference between the podcast and the broadcast .

The podcast , yes , we use scriptures , but we use the scripture more in the podcast as a foundation rather than going from book to book , to verse to verse . That's my greatest difference that I see .

But I think it's different because both avenues , both platforms , whether it's a podcast or the live stream on the learning to live in truth , we have both of them

. You can answer questions , but this is this is more like a personal level Yes , Yes . Because you know it's almost like you know the podcast well , learning to live in truth is like like a mega church And the podcast is more like a smaller denomination church . You know you have that more one on one time on the podcast and you would the podcast .

What sets us apart is that we are doing it for his glory , because we are all made for his glory , and when we are being intentional about who we are for him and really walking in his mindset because that's really what we're doing We are teaching people how to adopt a mindset that the world doesn't identify with , if that makes any sense .

I personally , i don't listen to a lot of podcasts , but I just know that it's not a lot out there that do that . Amen . Teach us how to adopt a mindset that we have to look , we have to learn the doctrine , we have to learn who Jesus is in order for us to be it . Amen . We don't need , we don't have to be a carbon copy . He can be .

Jesus , can move and work through us , but if we don't know who we are in him , how can we ? If we know who we are in him , then we can look at the circumstances that we're in . We're looking at the , we can look at the shortcomings , we can look at the overflow . We can look at all of that and see him . You understand what I'm saying .

We can see him in the midst of the thick and the Maori . When we can't see , when we can't figure it out We got so many questions when we're mad , when we're happy , when we're , you know , sad , we can still see Jesus , amen . When we don't have an answer , we can see him . And our podcast This is what we do .

We teach people how to see him , regardless of the situation . See the beauty after the ashes , to see the joy that comes after the morning Hallelujah . This is what sets us apart , i believe .

But what sets us apart is , well , we might be on it for 30 , 45 minutes , He might be on it for three hours , but we got different avenues of what we bring it from .

Like , we got the broadcast , we got the podcast , we got , you know , Sunday morning services , you know evening service on Thursdays , Sundays , And I think that's what sets it , sets it apart because it's broken down in different areas in life .

You know , like , like everybody you know , broken down in different areas of there Are there growth , And that's why I think it makes a sense to him .

So for those like Alan , who would rather see it visual , then audio will be able to see it And so . So that's the plan July 1st , look forward . And it's going to be called God's Diamonds in the Rough YouTube podcast . Okay , miss Brenda said let me like his comment .

Miss Brenda said a personal relationship with God is totally necessary in communication with him , fully . She said in or let's see in , or to do that . To do that , you have to stay . In order to do that , you have to stay in his word .

Listening to learning to live in truth Teaches us the ways of God , ways of the Lord , and the life we need to live in order to live with him forever . Podcast helps us to know that we are not alone in the ups and downs of life and how to get through it by the renewing of the mind . Amen . I like how she wrote that .

Amen , because that's our intention . You know what I mean . We're trying to . We don't want to keep making , we don't want to do it . This is what we don't want to do . We don't want to keep repeating ourselves in every avenue that we go down , every street . We go on . We want all for something .

That is the gospel , but it's given in such a way that somebody is going to grab a hold to it in that way . What do I mean ? It's like You have Facebook , you have Instagram , you have tick tock , you have LinkedIn , you have all of these different social media networks .

You got Snapchat you got all of these different ones , but there's going to be one that you are more drawn to than another . Not to say that all of them aren't effective , but there is one that you're drawn to more than another . And so , with what Michael just said , you know God has given us this podcast , but he's also given us learning to live in truth .

But and then to add to that he has given us , he's given ELCM , because this is the umbrella of everything that we do . The tree is is ELCM exposed like change ministries , and then from the tree , from the root of the tree , the root is Jesus . Out of the root came ELCM . Out of ELCM has come all of these different branches . You have this podcast .

You have learning to live in truth . You have our other page , for that's connected to the podcast . You have our ministry , where we stream our live sermons . You have our children's , our young people's ministry . We got what else do we have going on ? We got YouTube . We also got channels on YouTube . We got channel on Instagram , so we have a lot going on .

We have our community center . How could I forget that ? We have a community center as well . We have a lot going on , but again , it's rooted out of Jesus , the tree is ELCM and the branches are flourishing as they may .

You know , and that's what the point I was getting at , you know , not everybody can listen to the living truth because somebody might be at work , they might not allow you to have , you know , stuff playing like that at the job because they feel , you know , they don't want to crush nobody's religion or their beliefs . But then you know , you got the podcast .

You can listen to it while you're driving home from work , or you can listen to it when you get up , or you can listen to it all night long while you sleep because , although you're sleeping , you're subconsciously listening . And you know , and even go a little bit further that you know this isn't the first podcast , this is actually the second podcast .

We had a podcast before God's Dominant , in the Rough , you know , and that really a different branch of Avenue of you know things that was going on in life , like certain certain topics I'm not going to bring up because it's a touchy subject .

We're going to do this again , um , in another month or so , uh , maybe , maybe the next , i know at least , we're going to try to do this at least once a month . Um , hopefully it'll be more people on the next time and we'll be there to answer questions . Hopefully we'll have a phone line Somebody can call in the next time that we do this .

Um , things are being sorted out as we speak . You understand what I'm saying . Um , what we have to do is just be willing , you know and that's our greatest encouragement to anybody who's doing anything for the Lord to start , And as you go , he's going to equip you , he's going to give you what you need .

Yeah , he's going to give you what you need , little by little , to make it more and more , uh , effective not really effective , but make it more and more what you want it to be , because a whole lot of times we just use what we got and everything we wanted to be . But if we stay faithful , god is going to give us what we wanted to be a man .
