#139 LTLT S5 EP 13: Deepening Faith Through Understanding Our Identity in Christ

So sad some people , just because you know it's not what they want it to be , they complain and they whine and they gripe and they um , just really they walk themselves out of the blessings of the lord . Amen . Every day is a good day , amen , as long as we are on the other side of the earth . That's what they say . Come on somebody .

If you alive , it should be a good day . You heard me Hallelujah . That's the way it ought to be . That's the way it should be . If you don't think that way , I dare you to Come on somebody . Yeah , don't leave me out here by myself . You heard me Hallelujah , hallelujah . So if y'all are ready , I am ready to get into the word .

Okay , how it'll ? Yeah , so let's go ahead and pray , get into it . Father , we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy . Thank you , god , for allowing us this day , this time , to be able to get into your word . I pray , god , that you would use me to your glory . Father , have your way in this time .

Prepare every heart and every mind that is here that is on that way , god , that they might get what it is you have for them to receive . Father , we bless your name as we bless your people . Father , have your way in Jesus Christ's name , we do pray . Amen , amen and amen , hallelujah . So we left off on Tuesday .

Amen , yeah , talking about being aware of the Antichrist . Amen . Anyone who does not honor and receive Jesus as the Son of God , that is , as the Bible would tell us , the Antichrist , hallelujah . I had my idea of what it meant to be Antichrist , amen . I believe it works hand in hand with what the bible identifies as and teaching us what the antichrist is .

It's one who denies that jesus is the son of god , hallelujah , amen . And those who won't acknowledge that . What the word says , that's a really . That's really the antichrist . You hear me ? That is a clear indication that is the Antichrist , because they won't even accept that they are moving and thinking like one . Hallelujah .

The Bible is there to give us the truth , amen , hallelujah . Truth don't change . I say it all the time . Truth does not change because we don't like what it says . Come on somebody , hallelujah . How . The truth does not change because we don't like what it says . Come on somebody , hallelujah . So we're going to go on . Amen . Passage of verse 24 .

Yeah , to finish out the passages , finish out this great chapter of this great book . Amen . So we're in first john . For those of you who don't know where we are 1 John , 2 , verse 24, . He says let that therefore abide in you . So that just means he says let this abide in you , keep it in your heart , keep it connected to you .

He says which ye have heard from the beginning , if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you , ye also shall continue in the Son and in the Father , amen . So John says if you keep and you hold on to what you learned when you first got saved as a child of God , amen . You believe and you know that Jesus died for you .

You continue to walk in that truth , no matter what comes at . You know that Jesus died for you . You continue to walk in that truth , no matter what comes at you in this life . He says to all of us he says to us abide in it , amen .

There is more , even outside of what is said in this particular verse , because it really is a Leading into a promise that comes along With continuing in the Son and in the Father . It's so so much out here that is leading people astray . Why is it leading them astray ? Why is it leading them from the truth ? Amen .

Number one , I'm a firm believer that you're not in the word if it's drawing you away from the truth . Hallelujah , because anything outside of the truth is a lie . Hallelujah . You got to believe and receive that Jesus is the truth . If he is not , why accept him ? Come on somebody , talk to me .

Why would you accept him if you don't believe that he is the solid truth ? Hallelujah , why would you think that he can save your soul ? Hallelujah , one point in time . You believe that , amen . So continue in it , abide in it . Amen , put your heart and your trust in what Jesus did on the cross for you .

Amen , knowing that your works cannot save you , knowing that doing everything right can't save you , hallelujah , but knowing Jesus finished it on the cross , hallelujah . He says 25 . And this is the promise that he had promised us , even eternal life . Amen . The promise is eternal life with him , even eternal life Amen .

The promise is eternal life with him , hallelujah . Eternal life that is filled with nothing but peace . Amen . All peace , nothing else but peace . Because Jesus is peace . Amen . So he says Because you continue with me , you continue to trust me and walk with me , hallelujah . He says . I promise you you'll spend eternity with me . Hallelujah to God . Be the glory .

Hallelujah , come on . Hallelujah . Look . He says these things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you . So it's going to be things that's going to be people . There's going to be things . There's going to be people . There's going to be demonic forces . There's going to be things that look pleasing to the eye amen , that feels good to the flesh .

He said those things will seduce you , meaning they will give you something , they'll put you on a high , they'll put you in a place that draws you away from him . Hallelujah , they offer you something that's much more tantalizing than the truth of God . Amen . Women will seduce their men or men will seduce women Hallelujah .

They will give this idea , this fantasy , this perception that this moment is all that matters . Come on somebody . Let me have from you what I want , and I will give you everything that you think that you want from me . Come on somebody . This is what a picture of seduction . This is what the enemy offers us . This is what the enemy offers us .

He offers us seduction , hallelujah . Seduction does not last , come on , but it is powerful . Yes , it is hallelujah . I would be a fool to say it is not powerful , because it is . It's strong . But I'm gonna tell you what we serve one that's a lot stronger than the enemy . Come on somebody .

We have someone that's much more uh , life , he , he , he is life , he's real , hallelujah . He ain't . No , pretend , amen . He ain't gonna switch up on you . Uh , one day to the next , amen . He always remains the same . That's what the enemy has to offer you A lie . He offers you a lie , whereas the Father offers us truth , nothing but truth , hallelujah .

He doesn't change from day to day . He's the same yesterday , today and to day . He's the same . Yesterday , today and tomorrow . He's the same , hallelujah . The enemy shows up in all different ways in your life . Hallelujah , to try to steal , kill and destroy ? Hallelujah . Come on somebody . Have you been reading your word ? He says verse 27 .

But the anointing which ye have received of him abided in you . He says everything that you need in order to live this life that he has put you before , put before you , rather , everything that we need in order to be able to go forth trusting in him . He says I've given it to you , amen . He says the anointing .

I've anointed you to be able to do what I've called you to do . Hallelujah . Because a whole lot of times folk walk , they will walk away from the truth in order to follow the lie , because the lie is much more comfortable . Hallelujah . But you got to know that he has spiritually given you all that you need to do what it is he's called you to do .

He's given you what you need to be able to stay with him , to abide with him . Hallelujah . He's given you the strength . He's given you the Hallelujah . He's giving you the strength . He's giving you the endurance . He's giving you the faith , amen . He's giving you the things that you need in order to walk with him . Hallelujah , amen .

He says , and ye need not that any man teach you . Nobody needs to teach you how to serve him . Hallelujah , come on , amen , man , teach you . Nobody needs to teach you how to serve him . Hallelujah , come on , hey man , you don't need anybody to interpret a thing for you that he can't do it himself . Hallelujah , he says .

But as the same anointing teaches you of all things , and is truth , he said , and is no lie , and even as it has taught you , ye shall abide in him . So he lets us know . All we need is him , amen . And he gives us the mind , the heart , the desire . Mind , the heart , the desire , the push , the endurance , the perseverance . Again , the faith , the love .

Everything that he requires of us , he's already given it to you . He would not be God and just in his judgment if he did not supply every need . Hallelujah , get your mind off of what you can see , because the things that Jesus requires of us is what we cannot see . Hallelujah , because what we cannot see manifests the things that we can see .

Jesus , come on , somebody , talk to me , hallelujah , he says . And now , little children , abide in him , put your faith in him , put your trust in him . He says that when he shall appear , we may have the confidence and not be ashamed before him at the coming Hallelujah .

So he says look , put your faith to work , hallelujah , and trust in him , knowing that there's going to come a day and a time where you're going to see the face of Jesus . Hallelujah , ain't no doubt about it . Jesus is coming back for his bride . Hallelujah . Until he comes back , look for him in the places you cannot see .

Hallelujah , amen , and he will make himself visible in places that you can see . You know you're not who you used to be . You know you don't do the things you used to do . You know you don't communicate the way you used to communicate .

Hallelujah , it is not because you're that good , it is because you abide in him , because you put your trust in him , you put your faith in him . Hallelujah , you're walking hand in hand with Jesus himself . Hallelujah , every day . Hallelujah that you wake up , amen . You open up your eyes and you put your feet on solid ground .

It is not because your body is working right , it is not because your eyes is working right , but it's because the hand of God amen has given you everything that you need to be able to go about your way . Hallelujah , how is it that we in this earth can walk and not float .

You go anywhere outside of this earth , you're going to float in the air , hallelujah . But he's given us the ability to walk and to talk and to drive and to maneuver and to do this and do that , hallelujah . Look , I believe in Psalms 8 . He said who is man that thou art mindful of him ? Hallelujah .

He said they made him a little bit lower than the angels , hallelujah . We have been gifted so many blessings , amen , that we complain about every day . We have power and we have dominion , hallelujah . We have an authority that no other being has , but yet you complain , yet we worry , yet we murmur , yet we this and we doing this .

That is all contrary from the word of God . We are mindful Without thinking . We agree with the devil . Come on somebody . The devil is a liar . We got to agree with the word of God . Agree with the truth and we'll go forth . You'll go forth doing what it is that you've been called to do .

He says 29 , if ye know that he is righteous , ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of him . So if you know who he is , then you know who you are . Come on somebody , because you are the fruit of him . Hallelujah , you are the reflection of him . Hallelujah , the word tells us that we have been made in his image and after his likeness .

Hallelujah , that means we look like our daddy . Come on , somebody . His likeness , hallelujah , that means we look like our daddy . Come on , come on somebody . Talk to me , jesus , find out who you are . The only way you're going to find out who you are is if you abide in him . Hallelujah , let's pray , father .

We thank you so much for your grace and your mercy . Thank you , god , for just this word , amen . That encourages us to just put our trust in you . Hallelujah , I pray for every heart that is here , every diamond that is here , god , that you will just touch them in such a way that they find out who they are , that they not be ashamed of who they are .

I pray God , praying for the one that said pray for me , father , we love you so much , so very grateful , so thankful for where we are in this time and in this season . We pray that this prayer and all of our prayers are pleasing in your sight .
