#138 LTLT S5 EP 12: Identifying Antichrists and False Teachers: Safeguarding Your Spiritual Journey

Father , we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy . Thank you , god , for allowing us yet another day , another opportunity to get into your word . And , father , we just pray , lord , that you would just have your way . Make what is not clear clear to us , god . Make what is not plain plain to us , father , we want to hear from you , god .

We just pray , lord , for your sweet whispers , god . I pray , god , that you would do a work in us that only you can . We bless your name , we bless your people . In Jesus Christ's name , we do pray , amen , amen and amen , hallelujah . All right y'all . So we are in chapter two , picking up at verse 18 . He says little children , is it ?

Oh no , he says it is the time , the last time , and , as ye have heard , that antichrist shall come . Even now are there many antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time ? Amen .

So we walk in the door , in this portion of scripture , a man talking about antichrist and auntie is uh , it is um , kind of like the reword uh , that's what auntie would be . Auntie is like , it's like um , it's a way that we could put it .

Anti is like um against , it's like being against , okay , so , so anti Christ , so that's being uh , that being uh , I'm gonna say being against Christ in their heart . But they are masquerading as if they were Christ , yeah , amen , what do I mean ? Let me go a little deeper . A whole lot of folk that are talking about Christ .

They don't even realize that they are against Christ because they are parading themselves around as if they are Christ Amen , as if you know they are a voice for Christ , and what can easily happen is you can walk around talking about Christ and then mentally thinking that you are Look , folk , people get to praise in them more than they praise Christ Amen .

And unfortunately , people are feeding into that Amen and they're feeding into all of the applause , feeding into the standing ovations and they're feeding into all of that and then , mentally and emotionally , they become this person that is no longer a vessel for Christ , but they are now Christ Amen and they are behind pulpits and they are um on the mic rapping and

singing and doing all of these things and and they are standing on the street corner and they , they are in all of these different places with the . Their mission should be to impact souls for the kingdom , but really what they're doing is for themselves . Hallelujah , and they , they'll never say I am christ , amen , they'll never say that .

But when you look at their behaviors and look at at their behaviors and you look at what they're doing , you look at what they're saying , they're absolutely they are . They are walking around with a mind and an attitude and a walk that says I am Christ , amen , I'm invincible , I'm untouchable . You know , you do this and I do this , do that .

Like I say , people I truly believe they take the walk that Christ puts before us and they begin to distort it , because that's what the enemy does . Amen . He distorts the truth . Because that's what the enemy does . Amen . He distorts the truth . Hallelujah , amen . He will give the truth with the twist , amen .

And this is how you come up again with Antichrist , amen . Look at the scriptures . These little children . It is the last time . So he says I can't say it enough . You know you're living in the last time . Look , we cannot keep on saying the same thing . We keep telling you . He says you have heard about the antichrist will come .

He says even now , there are many there . There are many . There is , you know , the one that's talked about loudly and boldly in revelations . But he said it's a whole lot of smaller demons out here running around , amen , mimicking what the Antichrist would look like .

In a sense , he says , whereby we know that it is the last time , last time or last day , amen , that it is the last time , last time or last day , amen . He says they went out from us , but they were not of us . Okay , well , that's a powerful thing , amen . If you're taking notes , underline that they were out , they went out from us .

What does that mean ? They look like us . They look like us . They look like they were children of God . An example even though he died once , he realized that he betrayed innocent blood , as the story tells us in the word amen . But Judas could be an example of this . He said they went out from us .

Amen , had judas went on about his own agenda , um , then this would be an absolute , perfect example , because you have a whole lot of men and women that start off well . They don't end so well because somewhere along the line it stopped being about christ and it started being more about about them , says so .

This is why he says they went out from us but they were not of us , amen . Religion and relationship Hallelujah , they came out from us . Religion , but they not worth . They were not of us . Relationship you got to spend time with Jesus , amen . You can learn the law , you can learn how to speak it , you can know exactly what to say , when to say it .

But if you are not listening to the journey , you're not listening to the heart of the person that you're dealing with . That's not a relationship . That's legalism . You're not supposed to do this . You're supposed to do that . You're not listening to my story .

I need you to hear my story so you can understand why I can't do that or why I'm not doing that , hallelujah , because you listen to my story . Then you have no choice , amen . But to grant me the same grace that you need , come on somebody , hallelujah . He said they were of us . No , he said they went out from us but they were not of us .

He says for if they chose , if they were not , if they had been of us , he said , they would have been a part of us . They were truly disciples , they were truly had a heart for the things of God , he says , they would no doubt have continued with us . They would have stayed , hallelujah . They wouldn't have left to do their own thing .

Amen , they would have been with us because you know what Bible says I am my brother's keeper . Hallelujah , we are brighter together . Amen , if I'm a light and you put , if I'm one light in a dark room , amen , you can see me , but you can't see me . That well , come on somebody .

But if you get about 20 lights in the same room , that room is going to be as bright as bright can be . Hallelujah , you're going to be able to see not just me , but you're going to see everybody . Hallelujah , we are brighter together . So he says . He says if they were of us , then they would have continued with us .

Hallelujah , you ever wonder why people just kind of randomly leave your life ? Amen , you started out together , doing ministry , doing what the Lord had called you to do . Amen . However , he told you to do , that will bring forth ministry , hallelujah . And all of a sudden they start doing the same thing you're doing , but they're doing it somewhere else .

Come on somebody , Hallelujah . Why did they leave from the light , amen ? If you're both lights , hallelujah , why didn't you stay , amen ? Why didn't the two make four and the four make six and the four make eight ? Come on somebody , hallelujah . Or why didn't the two make the four and the four make the eight and the eight make the 12 ?

Come on somebody , hallelujah . Why didn't the light reproduce , amen ? Why did you go off by yourself , amen , trying to do ministry all by yourself , hallelujah ? Who is it really about ? Come on , I'm just saying Amen . Everybody got their own motive . Hallelujah , everybody got their own thing . They , everybody got their own thing .

They know why they're doing what they're doing , hallelujah . But at the end of the day , is it rooted in Jesus ? This is the telltale to relationship , amen . Is it rooted ? Coming out of the right place ? That's all I'm saying . Man , hallelujah , he says .

But they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us , amen , they had their own agenda . Now , look , I'm here to tell you I'm a witness . Amen . You can't make people serve God the same way you do , hallelujah , amen . But you got to be open enough to let them serve God with you , amen , hallelujah .

But again , if their heart is not right , ain't nothing you can do ? Sometimes you just got to let them go . Hallelujah , amen . It hurts my heart when I see people walk away from the ministry amen , hallelujah . It hurts my heart . I'm talking about at ELC .

It hurt my heart to see individuals leave and they begin to do their own thing and I'm saying to myself but why , god ? God , I don't understand why , hallelujah . And one time he gave me he said you know , my house is a hospital , hallelujah . Ain't everybody in the hospital patients , amen . And ain't everybody workers , hallelujah .

So in the hospital you got some people that's working , but then you got other , uh , people that are in the hospital that are patients , hallelujah . Some patients are long term , but then again some patients are just emergency patients , hallelujah . You gotta be able to discern which one are you and which one were they . Hallelujah , amen .

Sometimes they got to go because that's the season is over for them to be there . Come on somebody , hallelujah , amen . This is why I'm so , so adamant about talking about relationship . Relationship because relationship allows you to see things from other perspectives , perspectives other than yours , hallelujah , amen .

And when you are able to do that see things from other perspectives . You're able to love folks anyhow , whether they leave you or they stay . Amen . You're able to love them where they are . Amen , because ain't everybody going to do what you want them to do ? Hallelujah , ain't everybody going to see the way that you see ?

Amen , it doesn't make them wrong and it doesn't make you right . Same time , doesn't make them right and it doesn't make you wrong . Hallelujah , amen . Right or wrong , whatever have you , I don't even know if I said it right , but y'all understand what I'm saying .

Hallelujah , at the end of the day , he told us to love each other the way we want to be loved . So , irregardless of whether or not they stay or they go , our responsibility is to love people . Amen , hallelujah . Our responsibility is not to find them guilty . Jesus , come on . Hallelujah , look , I'm coming on back to the scripture . Y'all . That was a nugget .

Hallelujah for all of us . Just a brief reminder of who we are , who we belong to and what happens because we belong to him and what happens when we don't belong to him . Hallelujah , verse 20 . He says but ye have an unction from the holy one and ye know all things . This is what I mean . Amen . God has given us that unction .

Hallelujah , god has given us the discernment . He's given us what we need to be able to look at the circumstances , look at what is happening and be able to discern . Okay , the Lord is at work here . They had to go , or they . They can't leave , or , you know , they gotta be here or they can't stay here . They gotta be over there . Amen , come on somebody .

All of this comes from the Holy Ghost .

So when I'm wondering , you're trying to figure out what is happening right now , especially when you're dealing , well , you're a person like me , pastor , amen , director , leader , amen . And you got people , you're shepherding people that look to you to be a help to them . Amen .

You got to keep your eyes not so focused on them but more focused on Jesus , so that you're able to see even when they cannot . Hallelujah , amen . He says I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth , he said , but because ye know it and that no lie is of the truth . Amen . John says look , I know who you are , and so does the Spirit .

He says I'm not giving you something you don't already know . Hallelujah , I'm a firm believer . We oftentimes we need people to become alarms to truth . Amen , because we know it , but oftentimes we lay dormant on it . We lay asleep , amen , not recognizing the truth from the lie , amen .

And so those alarms , when they go off , it reminds us like , hey , this is really the truth , amen , that's a lie , hallelujah . Don't get caught up in where you , hallelujah . Don't get caught up in where you are . Don't get caught up in how you feel , hallelujah , because how we feel will oftentimes make us miss what is the truth , amen .

This is how folk end up in addictions , end up in promiscuous relationships . They end up in places that they never thought they would be , because they got focused on how they felt . They got focused on how good it felt , not that it was right , not that it was right , but that it made them feel good , amen .

And the thing about it is , when something makes you feel good , you're more drawn to it Hallelujah and you're drawn away from the thing that's going to hold you accountable . You're drawn away from the thing that makes you uncomfortable .

You're drawn away from the thing that is difficult Hallelujah and drawn to the thing that makes you feel good , drawn to the thing that's easy Amen . And the thing about that is that when you're drawn to the thing that makes you feel good , hallelujah . You get darker and darker or you get further and further , darker and darker , into sin .

Hallelujah , If you're not submitted to God . Amen . Hallelujah . James talks about submission . You have got to submit yourself to God Because if you don't , you will wind up on a rabbit trail to hell . Hallelujah , this is what will happen if you don't learn how to submit unto the hand of God . Hallelujah , the enemy wants to destroy you .

The enemy does not want you to live . Hallelujah , he does not want you to thrive in the things of God . You have to know , hallelujah , that the moment you get drawn away from the truth , then you will be manipulated by the lie . Amen . A child of God knows what is true and what is not . Hallelujah , amen . Jesus come on . He says 22, . Who is a liar ?

But he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ . He is Antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son . The Antichrist is the one that minimizes who Jesus is . Antichrist is the one who doesn't acknowledge Jesus as the son of God . Amen .

Clearly , I don't understand how these uh folk that call themselves theologians , people who say that they read the Bible , and then they turn around and deny this truth right here , amen , I don't . I don't understand . We're all reading the same Bible and then , uh , we all read the same bible but you got a different understanding of it .

Hallelujah , come on , we , brothers and sisters in christ , we all ought to have a general understanding about the identity of a liar . Is , he said , who is a liar ? But he , he says who is a liar , is the one that denied that Jesus is the Christ . Amen . And some would say , okay , well , who is Jesus the Christ ? He says he is he Jesus the Christ ?

He says he is he . Jesus Christ is the father and the son . Okay , jesus Christ is the father and the son . In the same verse , he says he gives us the identity of antichrist . He says it is the one who denies jesus is the christ . Okay , amen . I mean , I don't know how you miss it , hallelujah . This is what it says .

Right says look , says whosoever denieth the Son , the same Hath not the Father , but he that acknowledge it , the Son hath the Father also . So you cannot have the Father Without the Son , you cannot have the Son without the Father . Jesus and God the Father Are one , amen .

Look For those who want to minimize jesus and say oh , he's , oh , he's just a prophet or he's just this and he's just that . And you know , I I'm a christian , but I don't believe in jesus christ . You're the antichrist . That's not my judgment , that's my call . This is what the word says Amen , hallelujah , antichrist .

And the best thing you can do now , if you're one of those people , is repent . Hallelujah , repent . Find out who Jesus is , hallelujah , repent . And find out who Jesus is , hallelujah , hallelujah , so you can find out the truth and stop believing the lie . I done , ran over my time y'all , but don't believe the lie . Amen .

Any crisis out there , any crisis , real , don't you be one of them ? Hallelujah , amen . Let's pray , father . We thank you so much for your grace and your mercy . Thank you , god , for allowing us this day , in this time , to be able to get into your word . I thank you , god , for , yet again , a powerful word hallelujah .

Thank you , god , for speaking words of life to us . I pray , god , that if your servant , that all has been said and done and pleasing in your sight , father , continue to use me to your glory , that you would get all the praise . Father , we love you so much and so very grateful and so thankful .

We pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ , we do pray . Amen , amen and amen .

Alright , y'all . I know that was heavy , that was weighty , hallelujah , but it's just that way . Sometimes , hallelujah , some word the lord give us is it's real meaty , it's heavy , it's weighty , it's like wow .

So I want you to go think about this thing , hallelujah , and the next time you hear somebody talk about you know , jesus is not this jesus , jesus is not that . Remember what the scripture said . He said that's the antichrist . Hallelujah .

And you need to be a beware , hallelujah , because we can get next to the wrong folk , amen , that look like us , but they are not us . Hallelujah , they look like they , they men and women of god , but what is their language ? What are they saying ? What are they doing ? Hallelujah , is it all aligned together ?

Amen , it's not up to you to judge them , but it's up to you to pray for them . Hallelujah , don't you allow yourself to get next to the Antichrist . Amen . And even if you happen to long handle spoon you heard Hallelujah , long handle spoon , so you can feed him the truth . Come on somebody . I love y'all so much . Amen .
