How do you fight your battles?

Kristy and Bonnie unpack the story of Daniel and the Lions Den from Daniel 6 and realize there are a lot of adult lessons from this “children’s story”:

1. take your battles to God; Daniel trusted that God alone could fight on his behalf and chose to move about his life as he had always done.
2. check your feelings at the door; Daniel didn't react to his situation, but held onto faith during uncertain times. 
3. don’t make unnecessary war with people; Daniel said nothing to his accusers.  
4. don’t allow your ego to destroy you or others you love; King Darius's ego allowed him to declare the edict that could have killed Daniel. 
5. worship God above any other worldly institution or created thing; Daniel chose to serve his TRUE King above King Darius.
