Episode description

Busy Mom’s Survival Guide Podcast Episode 014.
Sometimes it can be so difficult to decide whether or not you need to schedule a doctor visit.  We don’t want to waste our time or our money, but what if things are serious and a doctor visit is required?  There are obvious injuries (like massive splinters stuck into your child’s foot) that require a trip to the ER.  But other issues may not be so clear.

During this podcast episode, I interview my friend, Kristie Williams, who is a nurse practitioner.  Please do not construe the information on this podcast as medical advice, but we wanted to give you some information that could help you make decisions.

As a parent, you need to find and develop a relationship with a family practitioner or pediatrician.   Ask that doctor to help you educate yourself so you are more comfortable in making decisions about the health of your children.

I’m pretty slow to take my children to the doctor.  What about you?  Do you find yourself at the doctor’s office frequently?

Thanks for listening!   Join me next week as I talk about learning.
