This episode is a presentation of what Goal 16 is all about. From its inception in 2015 by the GA of the UN concerned about the development of developing countries and the mobilization of financial resources and the eradication of the threats of international homicide, violence against children, human trafficking and sexual violence which are important to address, to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development. They pave the way for the provision of access to justice for all and for building effective, accountable institutions at all levels. This episode projects to discuss in future episodes the 12 targets that composed SDG 16: the Rule of Law, Illicit Financial Flows, Corruption, Children's Rights, Transnational Crimes, Democracy and Strong Institutions, Building Capacities, Tax Treaties, and other important issues.
