Episode description

Thánh cao su (An all-the-time-late person)

Literal meaning: Rubber God (Thánh = God; Cao su = rubber)

In Vietnam, being late is a bad habit for many people. It’s too common so we have a special slang for it which is “giờ cao su” (rubber time). If someone is “cao su”, it means he/she is late. You probably see that some people are often late for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or even an hour.

This episode tells you a few situations that you may probably experience at least one time if you live in Vietnam.

It’s about a couple of Chi and Hung. One person is always late and the other one can’t stand it. Listen now to figure out who is “cao su” then imagine what you would do if you were the other one!
