Episode description

You asked, we answered! A question we often get is “How do I read a product label?” We get it. Labels are very confusing. For instance, did you know hypoallergenic actually means nothing? Manufacturers can make these claims, however, the FDA does not have a formal process for determining what products are deemed “hypoallergenic." How bizarre.

Today, we’re explaining how to read an ingredients list, what certain logos mean (or don’t mean), plus what terms to be weary of — what’s marketing jargon and what’s the real deal.
