Joe Guinan is Vice President at The Democracy Collaborative and Executive Director of the Next System Project and Martin O’Neill is a Senior lecturer in political philosophy at the University of York.
Joe and Martin published a book together in 2020 called The Case for Community Wealth Building which can be bought online.
Both men are from England who were visiting Ireland recently and meeting community groups as well as government bodies here to discuss the model of community wealth building which we talk about in this episode as well as the influence of James Connolly, the importance of co-operatives, and some of the lessons from the Jeremy Corbyn moment and the attack on the left in the British Labour Party.
