Welcome to Global Outpouring. I'm Sharon Buss. And I'm Philip Buss. And we're your hosts for this podcast. We want to share our hearts with you about how we are believing God for the outpouring of His Spirit that He promised in Joel chapter 2, and it was repeated on the day of Pentecost when Peter was explaining what happened when the Holy Spirit came after Jesus' resurrection and after He ascended into heaven. We believe
that we are on the cusp of something greater than the world has ever seen. It's an unprecedented outpouring. In the Greek, God talks about, I will pour out of the Spirit of me, and we're expecting Him to do just that. But we recognize that when God has promised something, He's waiting for His people to pray it through. So we're contending for this outpouring. We're pouring out our hearts to our Father, asking Him to pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh.
So we're contending in prayer and believing God for this outpouring. Amen. It's just like the Spirit of God is just drawing people into Him more and more. Yes, it's like He's requiring more time, more time for an intimate relationship than we have ever had before. That's the truth. And it's a time of maybe even laying down things we like so much and like to look at TV or something like that, and where He's
saying, come, come into the secret place where I am, the secret place of the Most High. And that is where revivalists are birthed. Yes. It's in that secret place. And equipped. And equipped. And because He wants to equip us for everything that we need. When military goes out to battle, they go out equipped for what type of battle they are doing and where they will be fighting it. And the Lord is equipping us by His Spirit for everything
that we need. But we have to be able to listen and to hear His voice. And that is found in His secret place. Because He has a plan for each and every one of us. And even as Evan Roberts said in the Walsh Revival, bend us, O Lord. Bend us. You know, it's Your will, Lord, not our will. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
So we are on this earth, hallelujah. And we are part of His kingdom and we want to be used in this kingdom to the full extent of what we came to this earth to be used for. Amen. He equipped us in our DNA in the Spirit before He even sent us to earth. And He equipped us and He called us. Every single person on the planet has a purpose that God gave us. Even those people who don't even know God yet. He sent us to earth with a plan and a
purpose. And so this podcast is all about equipping. Equipping. Helping people to wake up to who they are in God. And equip them to be able to participate. So the other part is engaging in the outpouring. And we're planning to have interviews with people who are really doing the stuff. They're out there on the field. They have ministries. They're seeing
miracles. They're seeing revival. They're seeing an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So it'll help excite you about the possibilities of what it's going to look like when He pours out His Spirit upon all flesh. So that's our heart. Is to contend and to equip and to engage in this outpouring. And you have to get the picture that this outpouring in the original language is not just a pouring out like a rainstorm. But this is an outpouring like
Niagara Falls. Where it's millions and millions of gallons per second coming. And nothing stands in its way. God is in control. He is on His throne and He's pouring out of His Spirit upon all flesh.
