Episode description

The Busses are joined by special guest, James Worrell, who has an amazing story to share. James has been used of God in his day-to-day life for several years, ministering to those who had need and seeing many miraculous healings along the way. Then in 2022, James had a horrific ziplining accident which broke his back and his neck, killing him on impact. Miraculously, after 15 minutes, the Lord brought him back to life. He was diagnosed quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down, but James refused to receive that report and chose to stand on the promises of God. Today, James is walking in and stewarding his healing. His story will encourage you to stand on the promises of God for your life and to contend for them until the miracle comes, whether instant or progressive, and then to be led by the Holy Spirit into stewarding your miracle well.

So, James Worrell, we are so grateful to the Lord that we've finally been able to get you on this podcast. We've been talking about it, Phillip, and I've been talking about it for some time. A long time. A long time. So ever since your last visit here. So, James, thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you for having me. Just before we get started with your really amazing miracle stories, like, how did you grow up?

Did you grow up in a Christian home, going to church or, you know, did you stay clean and pure all your life and walk with Jesus every moment? Tell us about your background. So I was raised in a Christian home. It was a Baptist home. My father was an ordained minister. He went through seminary. And however, I was always more of the black sheep. That sounds familiar. I did not always walk holy and pure. I looked for trouble as a teenager. Oh, wow.

Never had to look too far, but just sex, drugs, rock and roll and anything else I could get into, I did. And your parents prayed. And my parents prayed. They did. Yep. Parents, listen to this. The outcome is amazing. It is. It is. So then what happened? So, I mean, I had all kinds of troubles in my life, like, just, you know, like I said, sex, drugs, rock and roll and was in trouble with the law, all kinds of things. At 19 years old, it was the summer after my freshman year in college.

And I went to a Christian university because that's where I had scholarship. And none of my friends were going to college. They were either going to the army or jail. Wow. There was a lot of troubled friends. Yes. So long story short, I went to a Christian college and smoked weed, smoked marijuana a lot. And the summer after my freshman year in college, I came back to Little Rock and I had an encounter with God. I had an encounter with Jesus and it was like a Damascus Road experience.

Wow. There was probably the worst guy that I knew of in Little Rock, a guy named Tim Spann had gotten saved and he was radical for Jesus. Wow. So when I heard about this, I was like, man, there's no way that Tim Spann is saved. That's one of the worst dudes that I knew of and I knew of you. And my friend was telling me, no, man, he smiles. And I was like, that guy's never smiled in his life. If he smiles, there's something drastic that's happened.

But my next thought was, you know, being a good Baptist kid who's been to church camp was so how's it been one week or two? And my friend said, James, it's been two years and he's still like this. So I said, all right, I'll go check it out. And you know, this I got to see. And I said, but if I don't like it, you got to quit bugging me. And I'm not coming to your Bible study anymore. And I went and I saw something. I saw the Holy Spirit on people's lives. I saw true joy.

I saw true peace, freedom. I just I saw people lit up like light bulbs. None of the people that I ran around with were like that. And they offered prayer and I went down and received prayer and I had an encounter with Jesus. And although I couldn't see him physically with my eyes, I knew he was standing right in front of me. And I saw his feet. His feet were like shiny gold. And I read later that his feet as a furnished bronze and I saw his robe. It looked like white fire.

It was like the whitest white I'd ever seen. And then I would read later in the Bible that he's robed in fire. And I was like, I saw that. I saw that. So then I'm reading the Bible and it's like a live to me. It's not just like a fairy tale book I'm reading. You know, so that's a little bit about my background. Then became that night got baptized in the Holy Spirit, spoke in other tongues and began experiencing the supernatural of God. And he's been faithful ever since.

You know, our faithfulness may waver here and there, but his never does. That's true. And he's my everything. Amen. Praise God. Amen. So did you go on to have any kind of training from there? I did join the Bible department. They had the Berry Bible department at Wausau Baptist University and began going through some of that. And I felt like the Lord said, I'm going to be your teacher and I'm going to lead you into all truth and understanding.

And I kept getting scripture after scripture of him telling me this. I was like, but you know, Greek and Hebrew and everything, you know, that I'm learning. You know, I mean, this is, I need to be here. And I finally listened to him and I just let him train me according to what he wanted to train me on. I mean, I've studied the word ever since and, you know, taking classes at Aswai Agape School of World Evangelism and just self-studied student.

And sit under whatever there's good Bible teachings. I've been doing that everywhere I can get for the last 25 years. So you're not a Lone Ranger? I'm not a Lone Ranger, no. Good. That's important. You know, to have somebody that you're accountable to, to have somebody that helps you stay on track, you know, making sure that what you're hearing from the Lord is really from the Lord. You know, those things are important. Right. And it always shows to be true when it really is him. It's beautiful.

So how did you get where you started doing street ministry? Tell us that story. Back to that first night on day one. And I asked Jesus in my heart and I received baptism with the Holy Spirit and I just had a night and day transformation. I was asked by Tim Spann that night. He said, hey, we're going to go out and, you know, share the gospel with people, witness to people. He said, do you want to go? And I said, oh, no, no, no, man, I don't even know any Bible verses.

There's no way I could do that. And he says, well, you got a testimony, don't you? And I said, yeah. He goes, well, could you tell somebody about that? Like what Jesus did for you? I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I could do that. There you go. So he's like, well, come on. He said, it's not about how much you know, it's about who you know. Amen. And he said, so you can come share who you met, who you know. Yeah. So it started that night.

I began just having such an amazing gift of salvation and just my genuine appreciation, you know, to Jesus Christ for what he did. And I couldn't keep it to myself. Beautiful. So it's something I've never been able to turn off. Hallelujah. That's it. Wonderful. Wonderful. And then you began to see some miracles? Did. Saw a few things early on, not as common, but I did see some miracles early on. I went to church and went to a ministry in Little Rock during this time in college.

And also there was a home church that I went to with a guy named Jackie Calhoun. And he was the landscaper on campus. And he listened to the word of God just all day long on his headset. Wow. And to this day, I don't think I've ever met anybody with more scripture memorized. Wow. And he had more scripture memorized than any of my professors. So I was just like, wow, this is cool. And he began teaching things like, you know, that it's the Lord's will to heal.

And that's what he paid for, you know, by his stripes were healed. And I remember getting so just, oh, yeah, one time there was probably 15 people there in the service that day in his living room. I said, well, what about this lady? There was an 80 plus year old woman who was 100% blind in one eye and 50% blind in the other eye. Wow. And I said, well, what about her? If it's his will to heal, then what about her? You know, and I've always kind of been like that.

If it's not real and practical and true, you know, I've always been like that. If it's not true, you know, I'm going to call it out, you know, so that's how it was. And he says, yeah, he says, we're getting around to that. We're going to pray for her. And we prayed for her at the end of the night and that blind eye completely opened up. Glory to God. We read James chapter five, you know, about, is any among you sick? You know, let them call on the elders of the church and earning them with oil.

And if the prayer face shall save the sick and he says, and if any of you have sin among you for it to be forgiven. So he did something different that I still haven't seen carried out quite like that till today. He made everybody go get alone in the house outside of the house, but everybody had to go get alone and confess every sin, any and every sin between them and God. And we did that and it was wild. The woman got healed.

Glory to God. Never been able to see her entire life out of that eye, 100% blind. Her entire life it was able to see. So I believed in healing since then, but it wasn't until around 2012. And I went through divorce and went through a really hard time that it became a reality to me that I could see it every day. As Sid Roth says, naturally supernatural. Amen. Amen. So it's a normal Christian life. So you pray for people on the streets. I do. I do.

So since 2012, there's a motto that I adopted from Heidi Baker where she says, every day stop for the one. Amen. So every day I try to stop for the one. I don't have a 501c3. I don't have a ministry in that sense or even care for one, but every day I stop for the one. There's some days that go by that I've missed it, but that's really where I see the miracles. And it may be a cashier at the grocery store, somebody at the gas pump, I got to lead a guy to Christ at the gas pump the other day.

That was kind of neat. Yeah. He came up asking for money and he was trying to buy a pack of cigarettes and the guy ended up able to lead the guy to Christ. Thank you, Jesus. And I mean, the guy weeping on my shoulder, his mother had just passed away. Oh. And he was telling me how he had to leave the house because he was in a fight with his brother. Oh my. Wow. Yeah, just going through quite a bit and it's so cool.

And my daughter got to sit there and witnessed the whole thing while I'm pumping gas. Wow. Yeah. That's amazing. And my kids would testify that it's a daily part of our lives. Amen. And during that time you were still holding down a regular secular job, right? Yes. Yes. How old are your children at this point? They're 14 and eight. 14 and eight. Uh-huh. Yeah. I have two daughters. Okay. So that's just been your mode of operation since 2012. That's a good bit of time.

And your daughters understand that and they participate with you, don't they, from time to time? Yes. Yes, they do participate with me from time to time. That's just amazing. Yeah. That's good training. Good training. I don't make them do it every day, you know, the way, you know, I do. But yeah, they absolutely do.

There was, this is kind of a fun one, but my older daughter, my daughter, my oldest daughter, Briley, we went to the grocery store and, you know, we're pulled up at the grocery store and she sees somebody walking with a cane walking inside. She goes, Dad, Dad, Dad, there's somebody that needs to be healed because look, they have a cane. And so, so you got to pray for them. And I said, and because that's what they're used to seeing. Wow. And I said, no, you know what, if you see it, you do it.

Ooh. And she went inside, she goes, okay, Daddy, I'll do it, but will you talk to them first? I'll talk to them first. So I talked to the lady first and she ended up getting healed and not even needing her cane. Glory to God. That's awesome. I made my daughter, I said, okay, and you lay your hands on her knee and you pray because Jesus, he didn't say there's just some magic person, this magic man of God with the big TV show there and they're the only ones that can do it.

And we have these misconceptions that we mystify the word of God and the word of God. Jesus was so simple in Mark chapter 16 of the Bible that a majority, I don't know if Christianity is the biggest religion in the world right now, but so many people, it's like we miss what the word of God says. True. And it says in Mark 16 that those who believe and are baptized, those are the only two prerequisites. It's not only those who have the gift.

No, those who believe and are baptized will lay hands on the sick and they'll recover. Yeah. That went out with the great commission. Amen. It's current. So I believe that for any believer. Amen. That that's how we're to operate. Amen. That's true. That's true. I love that. Yeah. So tell us like, do you ever have like word of knowledge for somebody that you see on the street that the Lord will give you word of knowledge to open the door? I do. And those are really cool.

Like for example, I may be talking to somebody and all of a sudden my left shoulder starts hurting. And I say, do you have a problem with your left shoulder? Oh my goodness. How did you know that? Well, I don't, but he does. And I would say though, I operate far more on a word of obvious. Hey, I noticed you have a cast on your arm. Do you have a broken arm? Wow. How did you know that? Can I pray for it? So yeah, I'm not near as spiritual as what I'd like to think, but yeah.

So operate probably more on the spiritual side. More on word of obvious. But yeah, sometimes I do get words of knowledge. Yes. That's beautiful. But the Lord leads you to people, right? He does. But my mentality, like I feel like we can miss it quite a bit if we're just waiting for somebody to be highlighted to you. Otherwise, I mean, I hear believers going years without ministering to anybody. So if you show me somebody that Jesus did not pay the price for, it's fine. I won't minister to them.

However, I will say this. You know, he said preach the gospel to every creature. That's the great commission, even to the ends of the earth. However, I do look for the hungry. I do look for those that he highlights because I do feel like he does highlight people for us if we're listening, if we're paying attention. That's so stop for the one.

Amen. Yeah, I remember when you're here the last time, says sometimes the Lord would highlight some of the worst, you know, the ones that nobody else goes up to. Oh, wow. Yeah. Bold as a lion, really. Well, I would rather have the knuckleheads. I would rather have I would rather have those that are really hungry, that are real, rather than, you know, some church person that knows it all and has has it all figured out. And, you know, I don't really need your prayer.

Save it for somebody who does, you know. And it's like Jesus, he said, I came for those who need a physician. That's true. You need help, not for those who don't. You know, so I look for those that need a physician. Yeah. If I find, you know, I like Satanist, I like atheists, I like gang members, I like agnostics. Those are probably like I gravitate towards those people. Beautiful. But kind of like there's a man I respect here locally, Mr. Page, and he's got, you know, a quiver full of children.

And somebody asked him one time, they said, who's your favorite child? And he said, whichever one's hurting the most. Oh, wow. And I thought, oh, so I look for those that are hurting. That's God's heart. I try not to look according to my own heart, my own flesh, my own sight. I just want what he sees. Beautiful. Wow. I want to join in what he's doing rather than ask him to come join in on what I'm doing. Oh, very well said. It's not about what I'm doing.

Amen. Amen. But I find that it's successful and it's beneficial when we join in on what he's doing. Amen. And that's really the prayer to pray, Lord, what are you doing? Show me what you're doing. Jesus said he only did what he saw his father doing and he only said what he heard his father saying. So that's really, he is our pattern. You know, we should be following him. Yes. Amen. So you had an accident a while back. Tell us that story that it left you a quadriplegic. Tell us what happened.

Yes. So two years ago on June 5th of 2022, I was out at my friend John's house, who's actually one of the sons of the man who I just quoted. And I was out at his house and he had a zip line set up for his children. The zip line, however, was set up for 150 pound people and less. I weighed 260. I didn't know that. Oops. And it was just me and my six year old daughter out there at the zip line. And, you know, when a six year old dares you, what do you do? You get on the zip line.

So you didn't know that it had a weight limit? No, no. And he would have told me not to get on had he known that I was considering that. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to my gut on that. And I jumped right on. And it was like, I think around a 200 foot zip line, he said, very steep. Very fast and didn't have a harness or anything else on. So at the end of the zip line, it shot me off the side of the mountain.

He said it was about a 15 to 20 foot fall, but it was such a high rate of speed that when I fell, died on impact. I broke my neck. I broke five vertebrae in my neck and back and the cervical and the thoracic areas. The skull, base of the skull and immediately, you know, stopped breathing. Heart wasn't pumping. And my daughter went down to my body and found me just blue and gray and wasn't breathing.

So she tried to make it back up the spillway, the side of the mountain where there's a steep spillway and said that she slid back down twice. But she was the first one on the scene and saw that I was dead. And said, no, no to the spirit of death, you know, and just say like, you're not going to take my dad. But I wasn't moving. I wasn't coming to, you know.

So she tried to make it up the spillway a couple of times and couldn't and had to go back the long way up kind of around the side of the mountain to get up to the house to go get John and I call my spiritual mother, Bonnie, who was there at the time. And they came out and actually said he had a hard time finding my body at first. And but John said he thinks it was around 10 minutes. Bonnie said around 20 minutes. So we're estimating that I may have been dead around 15.

So John, he's trained in CPR and things and there was no breathing, no pulse, just I was gone. They called 911 and they were, you know, is there anything else we can do? And at that time, Bonnie and John and my daughter came outside and my daughter starts, you know, crying, saying, I told you, my dad's dead. And at first they thought, no, he's not dead. He's he's either, you know, playing a joke on you or what, you know, be a pretty mess of a joker.

He's just heard he's not he's going to be okay. You know, they were telling my daughter and then when they found me, they realized that I was gone. Wow. But Bonnie, she said, no, I'm not going to die. No, he will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. Amen. And she said, so said Dove, that's my six year old daughter's name. She said, Dove, you cannot afford to sit here and cry over your dad.

She's a Native American woman, you know, grew up on a reservation, very different mindsets than I grew up and most other Americans. And she says, you cannot cry right now. You have to pray. You have a responsibility to speak life over your dad and call his spirit man back into his body. And that's exactly what they did. John breathed one breath into me and I started coming to like I started like this kind of like heaving breathing. It was just he said, it sounded like you were choking.

Wow. Because of what happened to my my C2 and C3, I should have been on a respirator. They told me later, but I came to and I was it was like this weird almost snoring sound, but I was alive. And you see your dad's alive, your dad's alive. And it wasn't for 35 minutes before the paramedics showed up. And they brought me to the hospital, did an MRI. And I don't recall any of that. I slightly remember possibly some sounds from the ambulance and the sound of the MRI.

But the next thing I remember was hours later that I was in intensive care at the hospital and I could move and I just knew my whole body hurt. So from the neck down, I could move. You couldn't move, but you had pain in your whole body. Yes, I had. That's really, really bad nerve pain because what I had done is in my neck, I broke my neck when I fell off the zip line. Suffered really bad central cord syndrome. So everything like from my shoulders down to my hands, I couldn't I had zero movement.

I did have a little bit of movement in my I remember in my the toes of my right foot, which was a good sign. But it was still paralysis. You know, I couldn't like lift up my leg or foot or anything like that. And so nothing would would work from here down. It was just dead. From your neck down. Yes. So it was it was very strange. It was a miracle that I came back to life. Absolutely. No, it was a miracle that I was not on a respirator.

Wow. My nurse said it was a miracle that I was able to talk just because after being dead for four minutes of no oxygen to that part of the brain, wherever that part is, you're not supposed to be able to speak. Hmm. And they said you haven't stopped talking about Jesus since you came to. Oh, glory to God. That shows you what your MO is. That's right. And it's it's been that for a while. So it was about a week later before I really started having much memories.

Hmm. So I was just kind of in and out, like kind of coma state. I don't. And I would come to and then I would go right back out and I would come to. And my friends were saying I asked the same question 30 times and, you know, a few hours in a day. I'd come to and say, where am I? What happened? Where are my kids? Are they OK? And they would tell me exactly what happened and then I would just pass out. And then a few minutes later, I'd come to same question, you know.

So they were really concerned. They're like, man, is he going to be like in the state forever? And but the Lord spoke to them and said that, no, that's not the case. And I stood on God's words, his Rhema words, as well as his logos words, his Rhema is what God is saying, present tense and logos is the written word of God. And I stood on what God said over what the doctor said.

Amen. And that was a very difficult thing for me when I first my doctor had said that I was quadriplegic when he was in the room. I was still over, you know, in ICU area, I think, like in the main part of the hospital before going to rehab. When he left the room, I asked my nurse and said, who's paraplegic? And she goes quadriplegic. And that's you. And I said, it's not me. I said, he's talking about somebody down the hall or somebody else. That's not me. Hmm. Good for you. It was difficult.

And you could just see kind of the pain in her face. But she said, it's you. She said, I hate to tell you this, but you're quadriplegic. I said, I am not. I'm not quadriplegic. I'm the healer of the Lord. And she said, then try moving your arms. Try moving your hands. Try moving your feet. Try moving your legs. And I would try after everything that she said, and I couldn't. And it was so frustrating. And I just wanted to cry. And I was just, oh, that's not me. That's not me.

Hmm. And that's where I parked myself, but I was not seeing this. Right. I was not seeing what I was saying. Yeah. So truly, that is faith. It doesn't take faith for me to say I'm holding my hands up right now, because it's already there. I can see that. But when I can't see it, it was devastating to my heart. Yeah. But I still chose to believe the word of God and God's super now. God and God's supernatural law over natural law and man's wisdom.

And I must have had a dozen different doctors that were coming through regularly, because I had so many different things that had to be treated as a result of this. Wow. Also had an ileus that almost killed me, which is like where your colon shuts down. You get distended. It could blow up, go septic. Hey, hey, hey. Yeah. There were so many other issues going on as well. When your colon gets paralyzed as well, it can't push anything through. Oh, wow. You're in trouble. Never thought about that.

Right. No, I never did. So it just starts swelling up. Wow. Wow. So I got to a place, and I want to honor my doctors. And I've always believed that even if they're not Christians, they're batting for the right team. That's right. They want to get me well. They want to see me healed. They're fighting for me. So it's important to show honor to people as well. Mm-hmm. I believe honor is the currency of heaven. Amen. And if we lose that, we're bankrupt. Mm-hmm. So it's important to honor.

So my message to my doctors, you know, when they would give me these messages, it's not like I could get up and run away or, you know, because whose report would you believe? We will believe the report of the Lord. Amen. But my message was, you know what? Because one time there was a handful of them in my room all at once. And I was not receiving their report. But I said, you guys are some of the greatest minds in society, hands down. You've read way more books on this than I have.

You understand on a natural level what's taking place in my body and in my neck and in my brain. And you understand it far better than anybody I know of. Yeah. And probably better than anyone. But what you don't understand is that supernatural law trumps natural law. Amen. Every time. Praise God. And according to natural law, you guys are right. And I thank you, you know, for looking into this for me. But I believe that his blood speaks a better word.

Amen. And I believe that I'm the healer of the Lord, even though I can't see it right now. Yeah. Amen. And I've stood on that and I've fought for that, you know, ever since then. And I still even am today on, you know, I can't say, oh, I'm 100% better or anything. You know, there's still other limitations that I'm still battling, but I'm doing probably 85% of what the doctor said I would never do again. Praise God. Praise God. So how long were you lying there in that state of you couldn't move?

So I was in the hospital for a month and a half until my insurance was broken. Until my insurance gave the boot. But I probably needed to be there a lot longer. Wow. Because I still couldn't bathe myself. I still couldn't dress myself. I still couldn't, there was a lot that I couldn't do. However, just before leaving the hospital, I was pressing through to be able to walk again and I was gaining some function. Yeah. How far did you get at that point? I got to where I could walk with assistance.

You know, somebody right there in case I fell and a wheelchair right behind me, you know, kind of deal. I got to where I could walk, you know, clear down the hall before. In a month and a half? In a month and a half. Was there some prayer before that? There was a lot of prayer. Yeah, there was. Tell us about that. So there were thousands of people praying. Different ministers came through. It's kind of cool. Todd White came through and he actually made a post on YouTube that's... I saw that.

Gone viral. We knew the day that that happened to you, the day that you fell off the zip line, because you and Bonnie were supposed to come here that day. Yes. As I understood it. Yes. So you were supposed to be here and, you know, just took that few minutes to do the zip line. And so we knew immediately Bonnie reached out to us to pray. So we were aware of it from that time. And then I didn't know what was going on until I saw the video on YouTube from Todd. Yeah, that's exactly right.

Wow. At what point did he pray for you? He prayed for me, I think it was about two weeks in. Oh, wow. He had come to town for a Power in Love conference that he was doing at Little Rock. And some of my friends there, Barry Hall, he's a pastor of Encounter and Blake Harrell, pastor of Living Truth and Mayflower and some other friends there.

They went to lunch during Power in Love with them and we're sharing with me like, man, there's this guy, he likes to pray for people on the streets like you and, you know, go after the healings and all that kind of stuff. And they shared what happened. And he said, well, where is he now? He said, man, he's in the hospital right now. He said, man, let's go pray. Let's go pray for this guy. So they all came and they all prayed. And I felt the peace of God come over me and in the room.

It wasn't in that instant that I leapt up and go, hey, I'm jumping, leaping and praising God, even though that's what I was hoping for. But it didn't happen in that instant. However, I believe that the prayers of the saints, they resonate. I believe even prayers that have been prayed, you know, in generations past. They're cumulative. They're cumulative, yes. And I definitely felt those prayers come through. So it was pretty cool. So I saw Todd a few months later, he came to town.

Brian Head Welch from Korn and who has an amazing testimony, the rock band Korn. Wow. Yeah. Got radically saved. Amazing guy. Loves Jesus and actually gets to lead a lot of his family. And actually gets to lead a lot of his fans to the Lord. It's kind of wild. That's tremendous. Yeah. But they were in town and I saw him and Todd comes up to me, man, and he just starts crying and just hugs me and he's like, man, this is just so amazing, man. I can't believe you're standing here right now.

You weren't supposed to be able to stand and you drove here and you are walking around and you're functioning. It was just a really, really awesome time. So was it gradual or was there a moment when all of a sudden you could move? That was more gradual. So there were little victories along the way. There was not one moment that it just all went, it's all that it's boom, I'm there. It was what I call kind of like that song, A Million Little Miracles.

And it's like I would see a new little miracle every day and I would pray and I would ask and I would search for it. I would seek for it. Only seekers find. That's true. And one thing I really want to encourage people with is this. If I would have believed what the doctors told me, I would still be in that hospital bed. If I believed what they told me, I would have given up. Never, never, never give up. Stand on the word of God. Stand on His promises even when you don't see them.

We all have promises that we've not seen come to pass yet, but His promises are yes and amen. And they are attainable. He's not a cruel jester out playing jokes on us going, ha, gotcha. His promises, they are for us. And my biggest message, you know, moving forward with people is to stand on the promises of God. Never give up on the promises of God. Go after them. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. And you will attain them. You will attain them.

Wow. Glory to God. Now, you said something to us before we started this recording. Yes. You said something about two different levels of healing. That you had like the healing part that. Yes. Got you up and walking and then there's a restoration part. Is that how you put it? Or is that did you use other words? I don't remember the words I used, but. Okay. I would say that the healing was kind of twofold. On one hand, there were things that were strictly miracle of God.

The fact that I'm alive, the fact I can talk. Right. The fact that I'm breathing on my own. The fact that all these these little miracles that I have nothing to do with. It is entirely based on his faithfulness. Yes. And it is nothing less than than a miracle. As my doctor put it, he said. You're a walking miracle. I said, oh, is that your diagnosis? He goes, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. He said, but you're a walking miracle. Looking at your MRIs, looking at all the medical data.

You're a walking miracle. So there's that aspect of healing and then there's the aspect of stewardship. That's the word you used. Yeah. Stewardship. So there is a stewardship which, you know, consists of for me, I would kind of break it down into physical fitness, you know, doing my physical therapy, occupational therapy, workouts, stretches, those things and diet. So there was a stewardship and there still is a stewardship that I have to do to press in for my healing.

Yeah. And the Lord is leading you and he's given you a good doctor for that to help you with that. Yes. Yes, he has. And I've changed my diet to a carnivore diet, just eliminating all oxalates, you know, all carcinogens. You know, the World Health Organization, it says that there's like 60, minimum of 60 carcinogens in every type of produce at your local grocery store. What? Yeah. Oh, wow.

Even though the same group turns around and says, and by the way, just eat plant-based and don't eat red meat. Yes. Like, wait, didn't you just say that there's minimum of 60 carcinogens? Yikes. So that's cut down on inflammation. And it's a ketogenic diet. So it's put me in a more ketosis state. And I've just done a lot of research, you know, on this type of diet and found that ketones also help to heal the brain stem so they can actually pass through the brain stem and bring healing.

So I've done the physical things as well as, you know, the prayer, standing on the word, not settling for anything less than all he paid for. Amen. Amen. Amen. You know, we started the ketogenic, I would say ketophore diet. We're mostly carnivore and some plant stuff because we really like avocados. I do too. And we really like almonds and almonds spread and those kinds of things.

Same. But we're mostly what you would call carnivore and high-fat diet because, you know, from what we've learned in our research that we've been, our society has been trained in this low-fat diet that has really spoiled the brains of two or three generations by now, I would say. And I think that's one of the main reasons I'm not a doctor. I'm not a researcher, but it seems like that's the reason why we're having so much of the dementia

and Alzheimer's and things like that. And there are people that are changing their diet and getting that turned around. So anyway, so we understand where you are in that. And we've been on it about a month less than you have a little over a year. So it's been really good. Philip was having brain fog and... Dizziness stuff. Yeah. And after how many months you took a test for your ham radio license? Two in one day, two levels of licenses. In January, June to January, about seven months.

Yeah. Yeah. 800 questions. That you had to learn. You had to learn and they picked 35 each one and you can miss nine on each one. And the first test I missed four and the other I missed three. And I just saying, Holy Spirit, you're so wonderful. I couldn't have done that myself, especially with brain fog that I had. Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, I feel like we are trying to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit

on that. I don't know that that's going to be a lifelong thing. I don't see that that kind of diet is in the Bible, except maybe for priests. I think the priests were eating a whole lot of meat. They ate a lot of meat. But, you know, it's something that the Lord has us on to catch up from all of those years of low fat and not eating enough protein and that kind of thing. So it's just an interesting thing to me.

But before we close, James, I would like for you to address our listeners and then pray for them, whatever the Lord puts on your heart. All right. Well, anybody who may be listening to this podcast, who's fighting for a promise of God, whether it be healing or your family or any promise of God, His promises are yes and amen. His promises are yes and amen. They are for you. And God is for you, not against you.

And sometimes there's a contending that takes place. Sometimes we see things instantly, like, you know, coming back to life and, you know, some of those instant miracles like I saw. And then there's also a contending. I want to encourage everybody the story of the Luke 18 woman in Luke 18. There was a widow woman and there's something that she needed from the judge. And this local judge, he didn't fear God nor man, but she contended day and night, night and day.

And she was knocking that guy's door down and saying, please help me, help me, help me. Help me, help me. Eventually the guy opens the door and he says, what is it that you want? He says, fine, let it be done for you. There's a contending that builds endurance. Yes. That we would not have otherwise if he was just like a genie in a bottle and there you go every time. So I want to encourage people that are in the contending that it shall come to pass.

It shall come to pass. And just want to say a quick prayer for you. Father God, I thank you for every person listening to this podcast. Father, I pray that your faith, Lord, the faith of Jesus, that you've allowed us to all have and walk in would be imparted, Father, to every person listening for every promise that you have for them. God, I pray that you would encourage, Father, you would enlighten, Father, you would breathe fresh hope over every promise that you

have, God. And I thank you that your promises are yes and amen. And I just speak shalom over you. So be healed, behold, with nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing lacking in Jesus name. And I bless you. Amen. Amen. Amen. Wonderful. Beautiful. Thank you so much for being with us, James. This has been really, really tremendous. And wow, I'm looking forward to seeing what God does in the future. It's going to keep getting better. It is. Awesome. That's his style. He goes from glory to

glory. Yes. Yes, he does. If you enjoyed today's podcast, please subscribe, rate and review this podcast on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts.
