You know, you can be a regular human being, but you keep your thoughts on Jesus, you know, and the Holy Spirit, and He'll give you opportunities to do things. Yes, and the more you cultivate this good soil, the more acreage God gives you. That's a good way to put it, yeah. God promises in Joel 2.28 to pour out His Spirit on all humanity. Welcome to Global Outpouring, where we contend for that promised outpouring, we equip for that outpouring, so that we may engage in that very outpouring.
I'm Philip Buss. And I'm Sharon Buss. Welcome to the podcast today. We want to talk about how you can work with the Holy Spirit and work with the Word to increase your harvest. Here's a hint. You need more fertilizer. We'll talk about it. Thanks for tuning in today. We just hope that you're going to have as much fun with listening to this podcast as we are with making it. But before we get started, we want to encourage you to go to our website, globaloutpouring.net.
Make sure that you have subscribed to all of our email lists that you want to be on. We have several to choose from. Or there's also a feedback form on that website. So we want to hear from you. It just does our heart so much good to hear from our listeners. So we want to encourage you to see the things that we're doing and participate in, any of them that you can. Some of them we do online and some of them we don't. So especially those things that we don't do online. Please try to get here if you can. So today we are talking about the parable of the sower, which I think that it's really about the soils.
It's a parable of the soils. But these things are usually named based on the first subject in the verse. That's how the Old Testament is done when you read the daily or weekly readings in the Hebrew listing of readings. They always start with the first subject, the first word of subject, and they put that as the title. So in this case we're seeing the sower because the sower went out to sow. Philip, you want to just tell us that story? We're doing it from the version in Mark, Chapter 4.
Well, as it talks about the parable of the soils, the sower went out and he sown the seed, and some of it fell off on the wayside, maybe just off in an off area somewhere, and the birds of the air came and just devoured it up. And then there's some fell on the ground, stony, rocky ground, and things don't grow very good where there's rocks. And like here in Arkansas we have a lot of rocks. Oh, yeah, we do. You have to work the soil if you want a garden.
You have to fertilize it good and things like that. And because it was so stony, he had a hard time getting down, getting roots. It'd be like trying to grow carrots here. They'd be at all different angles as they're trying to grow around rocks. Yeah, carrots don't grow well here. No. And then there's some of it that went among thorns. Oh, yeah.
And when you have thorns all around, it chokes everything around, especially in the spring when you sow, and it might spring up and then it would get choked by the thorns. And I just saw the last few days cleaning out thorns that have grown for years, and they grew up into the trees and they choke everything out. And you try to remove them. And I really tore myself up last week. And so this time I wore a long sleeve shirt. Yeah, that's better.
So when things try to get you, you know, I have some protection. But there was that that fell on the good soil, and it brought forth a lot of fruit. It says 30, 60, 100 full. So that's kind of the nutshell of the soil. So when Jesus explained this parable to his disciples, he explained that the stuff that fell on the wayside, you know, it kind of didn't fall into the soil that had been prepared, that was eaten up by the birds.
And Jesus explained that that is Satan immediately snatching the word because the seed is the word. Right? The seed is the word and it's planted in people's hearts. But you've got people that are quite given to listening to the devil. So as soon as it gets into their ears and before it can even get down in their hearts, boy, the devil's just there to gobble it up. So then the seed that fell on stony ground, the people hear it immediately.
They're like, yes, this is what I've been looking for. Yes. And their heart says yes, and they accept it with gladness. But because they haven't gotten the stoniness out of their hearts, there's no deep root. So when trouble comes, when persecution comes, when affliction comes, then they get offended. That's where the offended ones come. And they give up. No, no, this isn't for me. No, too hard. Too difficult. No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want this.
And then there are those that have like this thorniness. And the thorns are like the cares of this world or the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches. Riches. Yeah, like materialism. They live their lives for materialism. I want this. I want that. Greed, greed. You know, we set our eyes on things that are in this world. And that's where we're busy cultivating thorns. Yeah, and if you have a good income, you know, fairly good income, maybe you can afford other things.
Maybe you can afford an extra sports car. And maybe you can afford a speed boat. You know, a bass boat would be nice. That's always nice to have in the garage. Then you can just overspend, you know, because you have it, you spend it. I never had this when I was young. But, you know, it's like you have to be careful what you ask for, because Jesus even says in the word, he'll give you the desires of your heart, but it can bring leanness to your soul. Exactly.
Which means if that replaces the word of God, or it replaces your time with God, you know, you're on dangerous ground. Right. So it has to do with the things that you desire are things of this world. Things that are in the seen realm, not the unseen realm. Yeah. Okay. So you've got those three kinds of people, and then there's this good soil, and there's three kinds of good soil. Some of it brings forth 30 fold.
So like if you sow one grain of wheat, and a stock comes up or multiple stocks come up from that one grain, and it produces 30 grains, heads with 30 grains altogether. That's 30 fold. And then some 60 fold, and then some 100 fold. So what's the difference between these three? You know, I studied this years and years and years ago. I said, Lord, I want to be a 100 fold person. I want to bring forth the 100. For what you plant in me, Lord, I want it to come forth at 100.
And I probably didn't know what I was praying for. Because here's the deal. Okay. Let me just back up and talk about our little garden that's outside of our house. Our daughter got it fenced in, you know, and was working the soil and making it better. But there's like this one part that it's kind of like lots of clay, and it didn't have just a whole lot of black soil in it, you know. And then another part was just really more fertile than the others.
So in one field, you can have an area that doesn't have such good quality, right? Yeah. But it's still going to grow something. You can grow something there, but it's not going to produce as much. So what do you do to improve it? Fertilize it. Okay. So if you're using natural fertilizers, what are you going to use? I'm going to use cow manure. It works very good. Yes, that's true. But it's usually composted, you know, if you buy it in a bag.
And if you are living on a farm and you have cows, you know, you're probably not going to put it on fresh. You got to let it mature well. You got to let it compost a bit. Okay. So the whole idea is that compost is organic material that has broken down into its mineral content. It has decomposed. That's why decompose is compost. So it has decomposed into something that is going to be nutrients for the ground, that's going to help you bring forth a greater harvest, right?
Because that's what the purpose of all this is, is so we can learn how to have a greater harvest. Yes. So what are the things in our lives that produce fertilizer? Well, dying to self. Exactly. Exactly. So we knew somebody that in the spring and up until the point in time where his grass was going to put forth seeds, he would use all of his grass clippings and put them on his garden. And the grass clippings would decompose and feed the soil, right?
Yeah. So grass clippings are a really good thing to use, right? But you got to let it decompose. So it's this decomposition thing. I'm reminded of the scripture in 1 Peter 1, 24 that says, all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass, the grass withers and the flower thereof falls away. Remember what Dean Braxton said when he came back to Earth? Oh, yeah. Because he was in heaven where everything is alive and there's no death. Right, for an hour and 45 minutes.
He says everything on Earth smells of death because it's eventually going to die. Right. And the beautiful flowers, everything you see, you see eventually it will die. Change of seasons. Yeah. And the thing is this, that as it dies, it decomposes and it becomes nutrients for your life. So if all flesh is as grass, we need to focus on killing the flesh. Cut it down. Cut it down. Cut it down and let it decompose because that is the issue that we have.
Just to make sure that we understand that it's not just Peter that's saying this. He also says it in James 1, 10 and 11. It says, But the rich should rejoice in that he is made low, because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass and the flower thereof falls, and the grace of the fashion of it perishes. So also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. There's that deceitfulness of riches. It becomes grass.
And it's just like when something comes up, you have to kill it right away. Even people that have had visitations, even some of these Satanists, that have got saved, delivered. And it's just things if you think of it, you leave an open door, all of a sudden these demons just kind of jump in. And even around here cleaning like these brambles and stuff, I was telling you, these thorns, you get vines. Poison ivy? This is a good example. Yes, it is.
Poison ivy vines, because it starts up in a little vine, goes up the tree, and then it gets bigger and bigger, and other vines stuff too. And we have some vines out there that I cut are like four inch thick. Wow. Poison ivy, big, thick vines. And what happens, it gets up and it chokes the tree out. But if you dealt with it early, you wouldn't have it. I mean, you cut that thing for it has a chance to grow and take over. Right, that's what sin does.
Even a little tiny, little things you don't resolve it, it will keep you from growing and will have dominion over you, like unforgiveness. It's very true. It's very, very true. So the fact that we have flesh issues, I mean, we're all flesh. We're all made of flesh. We're all made of flesh. And you've probably heard us before talking about flesh flashes. And I was just confessing to my husband the other day, seems like lately I've been having more flesh flashes. What's going on?
And so, you know, God is dealing with my heart about this, about killing the flesh. Now, to make sure that you don't misunderstand what we're talking about, we are not talking about suicide. No, no, no, that would be the flesh trying to kill the flesh. And that doesn't solve anything. It only makes for a horrible situation for your family, your loved ones. Don't ever consider suicide.
If that is something that is tempting you, get the word, turn the word on, turn a recording of the word on, turn worship on, worship music on, lift your hands, give yourself to Jesus. Don't give into that because the devil knows that you are out there ready to be used by God and you're going to ruin his kingdom. You have to remember that you're under a demonic attack. Right. And though you can't see it with your eyes, but you can feel it. Right.
You can feel it when you walk, when you go into rooms. And this thought, you know, it might be the thought or just the unction to go, you know, why don't you just go jump off that cliff, then you won't have to worry about all the other stuff. And nobody will have to worry about you. Nobody will have to worry about you. But you have to deal with thoughts when they come into your head before you meditate on them. Okay. Within seconds, you have to say, no, I'm not having that in my mind.
I have the mind of Christ. I'm not going there. I refuse you thought in the name of Jesus Christ. You go to the feet of Jesus or you go out into outer darkness. I'll have nothing more to do with you. Your assignment against me is canceled by the blood of Jesus. Don't give it any place because here's the deal. If the thought comes into your head and you start to meditate on it, the more you think about it, it's going to drop down into your heart.
Once it gets down into your heart, it's going to influence your words. And once it influences your words, it will influence your actions. Yeah. And especially if you're on your phone, I actually would say you're on your computer is what it really is. And, you know, you get a, you'll get a thing. Somebody sends you something on Facebook or something, and it goes into a short reel or video and then something else comes up.
And then maybe something else comes up and then maybe something else comes up. And before you know it, you're, you're hooked. Yeah, you've wasted time. And what I try to do anymore if I see birth, because I want to honor people that it's their birthday today. So give them a happy birthday, you know, bless them in the name of Jesus and all that. But when you're done, you're done. You know, don't continue on. Close it. Just close it, you know, close it off and just keep going. Right.
So one of the things that Dean Braxton said to us, and it was mind blowing to me because I didn't understand this, but he said, thoughts are actually more powerful than your words. That's powerful. Which, you know, we've been taught that your words, your words, your words are, you know, God said, let there be light. That all the creation has come because of words. But the words before they were words were thoughts. Yeah, that was confirmed by an ex-Satanist. Yes, yes, we heard that recently.
So both sides know that thoughts are more powerful than words, because thoughts become words and words create. But you've got to deal with it at the thought level. So how do you deal with thoughts? As I said, you can put on a recording of the word. You can open your Bible and start reading the word out loud. Pray in tongues. That's huge. That's huge.
And if you don't pray in tongues yet, go back to one of our previous podcasts, and we'll put a link to it where you can get the baptism in the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues while you're listening to us. You can praise, you can worship, because here's the deal. Darkness disappears when light shows up. You can walk into a dark room, flip the light switch, and darkness disappears. It's gone.
I think that one ex-Satanist we were listening to says when certain people come, they carry the light, they carry Jesus in them. You have to leave. What they had to get, how many miles away? There was one guy. They had to be 70 miles away. 70 miles away because of this person that was coming in. That's how much light was shining out of them. Yeah. So let's talk about what the Bible says about what to do about your flesh.
If you look at Romans 8 verse 13, it says, if you live after the flesh, you shall die. That's pretty, pretty clear. Because the flesh is where sin resides, okay? So we don't want to give sin any place in our lives. So we can't give the flesh any place because the real you is your spirit. And the real you is meant to rule in you. Your spirit is meant to rule over your soul and over your body. So I'm reading from the New King James. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die.
But if you through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. So what does mortify mean? Mortify means to kill. But the death by godly principles. Exactly. Yeah. Destroy the life of. Destroy, overwhelm, punish, cause death, kill, put to death. Make it dead. Okay. Yeah. And we just said all the godly principles. Right. Speaking in tongues, worship. Those things because we're doing it through the spirit. Yeah. And this is why committing suicide doesn't work.
Okay. And there's a religious spirit kind of thing or a religious act that some people do that don't know better. That they are mortifying the flesh by flagellating themselves. You know, they'll take a whip and they'll beat themselves with it literally. And that is the flesh trying to kill the flesh. It's not. God wants us to do it by the spirit. By this. Yeah. You displace the darkness with light. Yeah, because what you're battling is your flesh, but you're battling the spirit.
The wrong spirit. Yeah. That's what you're dealing with, but you can't battle the darkness, the spirit of darkness with your flesh. Right. That only comes with the Holy Spirit. Right. That's the only thing in the blood of Jesus. Your flesh cannot deal with it any other way. You know, when people have oppression and, you know, they have all these thoughts of suicide and this or that. They go to psychiatrists and everything.
So they're trying to deal, you know, with emotional problems and all that. But it's spiritual things and you can't deal with it by going, you know, to get help in an avenue like that. That's not going to be a permanent fix of any kind. You have to deal with it in the spirit. Right. That's by the blood of Jesus. Right. But even a psychologist might help you to start thinking better. Yeah. Because it's really about how you think. How you think. What thoughts are you allowing into your head?
Now, Romans 7, I won't take time to read it, but Romans 7 in the Passion Translation makes it so clear that the real you is your spirit and the real you is fighting against your flesh. And he goes on to say, I don't do the things I want to do and the things I want to do that I know are the right things to do. I don't do them. Oh, it's my flesh. It's this war of sin in my flesh. Yeah. And then he goes on to say, who's going to help me? And of course, it's Jesus.
And Romans 8 begins with, There's therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. You know, and if you just took the chapter part out of that, like chapter. Yes. Whatever. Then you're going to chapter 8. But see, it didn't have chapters when they wrote the letter. Didn't write this chapter. Then you went and prayed a while. You know, that's all added by translators.
So who shall deliver me from the flesh go right into eight without that gap. There is no condemnation. Right. You know, sometimes when something is separated like that, you lose the context of it. Yeah, it's true. It's true. So walking in the spirit is what is going to deliver us from the flesh and put down the flesh and kill it. Kill it. When I first started getting this download, I was calling it, kill it. But I thought, well, probably that's a little bit strong, especially since last week.
We did the possibility of cannibalism in the church. Right. Now we're going to kill it. But we have to kill the flesh, but it's not killing the flesh with the flesh. It's killing it by displacing it in the spirit. So I'm going to read from the English Standard Version Colossians 3, 5 to 17. So we can get an idea of the things that we have to put to death. Okay. The things we have to kill. These are flesh things.
So Colossians 3, 5 to 17 says, put to death, therefore, what is earthly in you, sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. So I'm going to just add here to bring us a little bit more into the 21st century. So I think that the word for covetousness, I would say a better word that we would use is greed. Greed. Okay. Greed is idolatry. And I think that is the major idolatry that we have in the West that we think we don't have any idolatry, right?
Because we're not bowing down to idols. But we are embracing greed in such a major manner. And I think that's what the Bible speakers say, people in the East, because he was Indian, they worship idols of all kinds, but those in the West, they worship themselves. And that's what that turns into. Right. It's true. So verse 6 says, on account of these, the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked when you were living in them, but now you must put them all away.
Malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge of the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free, but Christ is all in all. So we've taken off all those things. Now here's what you put on. Okay, here's the displacement.
And as you displace these things, they turn into fertilizer to bring forth more harvest in your life, okay, as the seed of the word goes in. Put on then as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another, and if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. So all of these things are displacement things.
This is what the flesh, when it's broken down, becomes nutrients, okay? You cut down the flesh, and as it decomposes, it becomes compassion and kindness and humility and meekness and patience and love, forgiving, being thankful, working together in harmony. All of these things and worshiping, all these things come when we kill the flesh. And we can actually kill the flesh by just making a choice to do these things.
And you'd be amazed how people would maybe like to have you around them when they didn't before. Yeah, it's true if we deal with our flesh and make the flesh die. Yeah, I was just talking with someone and he says, you know, I just let Jesus shine out of me. He says, I just let like 15 feet out, I just let Jesus shine out. This was just a person obedient to God that had such a relationship with the Lord.
You know, you can be a regular human being, but you keep your thoughts on Jesus, you know, and the Holy Spirit, and he'll give you opportunities to do things. Yes, and the more you cultivate this good soil, the more acreage God gives you. That's a good way to put it, yeah. Absolutely. So the fruit, the harvest comes forth as you fertilize it and as you water it with the water of the word. Yeah, the seed is the word, the water is the word. Yeah, what did God say to Joshua?
Every place where you put your feet, I have given unto you. It was the power of God going with them. And wherever they went, they won their battles, unless it was sin, like the battle of Ai, you know, which they fell before them. Right. But as long as they kept the word of God, they won all their battles. That's right. And as you cultivate this field of your life with all of these good things, it increases the effect that you have on the atmosphere around you.
So, Philip, would you read Ephesians 4, 17 to 32 in the Passion, because it goes on along with this. So with the wisdom given to me from the Lord, I say, you should not live like the unbelievers around you who walk in their empty delusions. Their corrupted logic has been clouded because their hearts are so far from God. Their blinded understanding and deep-seated moral darkness keeps them from the true knowledge of God.
Because of spiritual apathy, they surrender their lives to lewdness, impurity and sexual obsession. But this is not the way of life that Christ has unfolded within you. If you have really experienced the Anointed One and heard the truth, it will be seen in your life, for we know that the ultimate reality is embodied in Jesus. And he has taught you to let go of the lifestyle of the ancient man, the old self-life, which was corrupted by sinful and deceitful desires that spring from delusions.
Now it's time to be made new by every revelation that's been given to you, and be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ within as your new life and live in union with him. For God has recreated you all over again in his perfect righteousness. I love that, recreated you. And you now belong to him in the realm of true holiness. So discard every form of dishonesty and lying, so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. Oh yes.
But don't let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin. Amen. Don't let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day. Don't give the slanderous accuser, the devil, an opportunity to manipulate you. Amen. If any one of you has stolen from someone else, never do it again. Instead be industrious, earning an honest living, and then you'll have enough to bless those in need.
And never let ugly or hateful words come from your mouth, but instead let your words become beautiful gifts that encourage others. Do this by speaking words of grace to help them. The Holy Spirit of God has sealed you in Christ Jesus until you experience your full salvation. So never grieve the Spirit of God or take for granted his holy influence in your life. Lay aside bitter words, temper tantrums, revenge, profanity and insults, but instead be kind and affectionate toward one another.
Has God graciously forgiven you? Then graciously forgive one another in the depths of Christ's love. Isn't that beautiful? That's so beautiful, the way the passion just illustrates that. Yes, yes. So you have this fleshly nature. It's kind of like a wolf. And you have this spirit nature that's kind of like a lamb. So if you've got both of these things operating in you, how do you operate? Well, the one that you feed is the one that's going to thrive.
Yeah. So if you want to kill it, don't feed it. Got to starve it. Starve the wolf out and replace it with the lamb. What animals do, if they don't have any food where they're at, they'll go away. Yeah, that's true. They'll find some other pasture. So if you're not feeding something, you just keep speaking the word over it, it'll go away.
Yes. And I remember hearing things like there's a wonderful story in Dave Roberson's book, The Walk of the Spirit, The Walk of Power, where he tells the story of someone that got word that a loved one was in the hospital. I don't know if it was maybe had been in a car accident or something, and he didn't know any details. And he's rushing to get there driving, and he hears these voices saying, she's going to die. She's going to die. She's going to die. And he's struggling.
He's trying to say scriptures against it, you know, because he's got this thing going on in his head. And he hears the Holy Spirit say to him, pray in tongues. So he starts praying in tongues. And pretty soon he hears these two voices that have been saying she's going to die, you know, the two little voices, and he hears one of them say, what's he saying? The other one says, I don't know. And the first one says, I don't know either, but let's get out of here. It's getting hot.
It's stereo demons talking. Right. And when he got to the hospital, she wasn't seriously injured or whatever, or maybe she was, and he prayed and she was fine. I don't remember the end of the story, but you know, the key thing here is that you can shut up the devil and make them run if you will pray in tongues. If you will do all of these things that we've just been talking about, you can overcome these things. I love the verse from Galatians that says, I am crucified with Christ.
Nevertheless, I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Yes. Amen. So it's what Jesus did for us that enables us to have the grace to overcome, to have the grace to press into his love. He loved us and he gave himself for us so that we can be his, that we can be like him, we can be with him, we can partake of his nature to put down that flesh nature. Yes. Amen. Hallelujah.
So we have Jesus' example in the Garden of Gethsemane. In his obedience and giving up his earthly life, he had that grace of submission so that we could be free. I mean, he submitted to God. He was trying to say, Father, if there's some way that this cup can pass for me, let it be. But nevertheless, not what I will, but let your will be done. OK, so when we're struggling with the flesh, when we're struggling like, I'm not sure I want to give that up just yet.
Maybe I like my sin. Maybe I'll overcome that tomorrow. But maybe today I'll fall for it. Just this last time. Yeah, just this last time. But the fact that flesh loves sin doesn't make sin lovable. It's like if you're a heavy smoker or a big coffee drinker or something, you say, I'm not going to do this anymore. Wake up in the morning and after a while you start having withdrawal. So what's the cure for the withdrawal? Let's do it again.
I have some coffee. Right. There's nothing wrong with coffee. Just don't let it control you. Yeah. If you need to get off of it, if you're going to fast, so just cut yourself back a little a little every day. Cut back, cut back, cut back. You really can get off of it because it really can be an addiction. It probably is an addiction. But Thomas Watson was a Puritan theologian, and he said this. Christ is never loved until sin is loathed.
So this flesh life and the tendency to sin that we have, we have to hate it in order to kill it. And the ability to kill it, the ability to hate it, comes as we receive the love of Jesus and we fall in love with Jesus. It's so much easier to obey if you're doing it out of love. Remember, Jesus said to his disciples, if you love me, keep my commandments. So he really wants us to overcome and he wants us to help. He wants to help us. He's there to help us.
He died on the cross so that we can die to our flesh. That's how we enter into his sufferings. By receiving that grace that he had to let his flesh die, we can do the same thing to kill those things of our flesh that are not pleasing to God, because if we don't operate with him, we can't please him. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. And it takes faith to pray in tongues and to thanks, because you're not always seeing what's happening. It's true. It's true. And it's a faith thing.
So our dying to the flesh, putting it to death by the Spirit, fertilizes the soil of our life to bring forth a harvest. Even the fruit of the Spirit. See, this is where you're building the fruit of the Spirit. By doing these things with the Spirit, you discover that you are growing the fruit of the Spirit. So our obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God will have an effect on the people around us. And our prayers from a sanctified, purified heart can affect people all around the world.
So is it worth it to you to kill the flesh? It's worth it to me. I want it to die. And we're all in this process together. We're on our way toward Jesus, on our way toward becoming more and more like him, allowing his Spirit to operate within us. And that is what will fertilize your field. And honestly, the other thing that you said that fertilizes manure, that's just the stuff that happens to us. That comes from the devil to smear us and to just be awful. Those things are also fertilizer.
And we should welcome them in our lives as fertilizer and give them to the Lord to bring forth more harvest in our lives. It'll help the seed to grow. Amen. Amen.
