Episode description

For what is probably a first in GTST history, Matt renigs on an opinion from last week’s episode concerning NASA’s new funding bill. Along with that comes some discussion about the internet, on money and currency and a brief mention of Bitcoin. Matt tells about Part Two of the strip club from last week, and they discuss Matt’s birthday tweets. We discussed the Turing test and the computer that “passed” it. This turns into a discussion about surveillance, and what the perfect amount of surveillance is, along with how misinformation about science spreads online. Matt updated Addison on his favorite pope, Pope Francis. Addison asks Matt “do you believe there is a hell?” and we discuss the possibility of “heaven” and “hell” and the realizations of those. Finally, we make preparations for Matt’s funeral.
