Hi there. It's Sue. And thanks for joining me for tips and talk day. These are bite-sized topics that I pull from community questions and things that I'm observing in the world of handmade small business. If you'd like to submit a topic, DME, over on Instagram at gift biz unwrapped it's here. This is the week of national bakers, crafters makers, day on Friday, the 21st to be exact.
The only way you wouldn't have known about this already is if you're brand new here, because I've been talking about it and there have been activities to participate in all month along, things like submitting your very special handmade memories, and also reading about the memories from others, sharing how your handmade products provide good to others. There's also access to done for you. Social media posts and stickers.
So you can be part of promoting the day and you can download my free gift to you. Oh my gosh. There's so much more even it's all outlined, including what I'm going to be talking about right now, over on handmade, heals the world.com. Make sure to go check that out. I have two things going on specifically for the official day. This Friday, the 21st, first we're doing six separate 20 minute classes covering a variety of lifestyle topics that I think you'll find interesting as a
maker. There's one on how to make the perfect pie crust, including a special Dutch apple recipe that you can get your hands on. Then there's a yoga flow session. You can learn some basic salsa dance moves and expand your universal energy with a program covering meditation and breath work. We also get creative with direction on gift wrapping, including how to identify a specific personal gifting style. And there's also a journaling class, but not just your basic journaling.
It covers a very special method that I never heard of before. And it's so cool. You have to watch the class to find out what it's about because there's no way I can give it justice here. Plus that's what the class is for now. If you're listening to this podcast after the day has passed, it's all good. Go over to handmade, heals the world.com.
And when you scroll down to the classes, which is under section number three, you'll see links that will take you to the videos that are sitting right over on the gift biz unwrapped Facebook page. By the way, you can still also submit your handmade memory. Or if you have something for the dollars donated or gifts of kindness list, you can add them there too. All the details again are over on that page.
