Webb of Despair

OK, the title is click bait. It's desperate times. We all gotta do what we gotta do. What Matthew is doing is drinking a classic gin cocktail (or two) while Ben is drinking a bottomless glass of mediocrity. On the baseball side of things they debate if even the optimists need to give up on this season. Next they ponder what it will take to cobble together a competitive or merely entertaining team next season. Finally, for relief, they discuss non-Giants baseball news in the form of coming rules changes that were recently tested at the AAA level.

Next weeks cocktails: Matthew will be making something with tequila and coffee and chocolate. Ben will be making a Painkiller. Just what we all need.
