Episode description

Tea Krulos is a freelance writer and author from Milwaukee, WI. Some of his favorite subjects to explore and write about include unique subcultures, people, and places, as well as art, music, and pop culture. Krulos’s first book, "Heroes in the Night: Inside the Real Life Superhero Movement," is a thorough investigation of a subculture of people who call themselves “Real Life Super Heroes” and adopt their own costumed personas and hit the street to fight injustice. He is also the author of "Monster Hunters: On the Trail With Ghost Hunters, Bigfooters, Ufologists, and Other Paranormal Investigators" and "Apocalypse Any Day Now: Deep Underground with America’s Doomsday Preppers." Krulos has two books out in 2020. "Wisconsin Legends & Lore" (The History Press) compiles classic Wisconsin folklore, ghost stories, and urban legends and "American Madness" (Feral House), which examines the life of conspiracy theorist Richard McCaslin and how conspiracy developed into the zeitgeist of our times.
