Ghostbusters turned 30 this year, and there was much rejoicing. After all, it's a pop culture milestone - a perfect moment in cinema where some of the most talented actors and writers, at the top of their game, got together to take a risk mixing and matching genres. In fact, Ghostbusters might be the most intelligent, layered, and profoundly nerdy mainstream success of all time. Yes, even more than Star Wars. It only stands to reason that the nerds who've devoted their imaginary lives to following in the footsteps of Stantz, Spengler, Zeddemore, and Venkman have some very strong feelings on the 1984 classic. So make some popcorn, cue up your Ghostbusters blu-ray, and dig this film commentary with our very own boys in beige. And remember, just say NO FANGS!
