Get you know, boys, it's back and reot it all in your mind. Yeah, and that deep throating. This is for the streets, the reel, the rail roaded, the distant franchise, the Truth Escape Doulding, And they ain't know when we speak the truth, so they quoted because we wrote it. The North South East Coat the g B my keeping your head, Bobby, it ain't no stopping and wants to be drips head by then the system is so corrupt they throw the rock out of their heads and then

blame me. Do U g B? Don't get twisted on code and me and danced for no buttament biscuits. I got. I got a good question for you, man. What's that? So you on stage at the fucking Oscars and you're telling joke somebody's wife and the husband runs up on you. Quick, what's the first thing you wanna do? Well? I studied have Keto foe out, so I tried maybe kick him in his face, okay, or kick him may maybe low

kick him in the knee or something. But what what if you didn't you thought that would be the last thing. Then he hit me, then I would probably kick him in his back if he walked away right, I'll be like this, I'd be like this, what the fund trip? I would like probably push him right funk out of here. Man for turning on the cheek? Was that cool? Oh? It made him actually got him his tickets sales went up. And Will Smith's not a small dude. Well was kind

of a big guy. I think if because like let's say, let's say Corey Holkum was on, let's just say Willie d was up there, Oh, that would he would have

got them hands right here. Here's the thing, like when he slipped it from me, I have, I have this thing called discernment, right, and I would not I would not have dd a that bit like I know that as a line, and I know the comedians always say ain't no lines, and but that doesn't imaginary line, right, And unless I had a bone to pick with Will, I probably wouldn't have said, well, I know I would

not have said that Joe. I would have had to have some type of angst, you know, in regards to him, you know, other than that, you know, I would not tell that joke because I don't want to. I try to avoid situations that will make that that will make me have to engage in conflict, you know, I try to. I try to avoid them type of situations because conflict is costly. Even if you win, you might lose. You did what I'm saying, So I try to avoid them

those type of situations. So if let's just say, hypothetically, if it was me, of course my career would they've been over right there on the spot because I would have fun. Well up, I would have fun. We are all the way up. You know, my career would have been over right there in that moment because all that old Oscar ship don't mean nothing to me like that. It's cool. I'm thank y'all for letting me host the Oscars. I know it's a great moment. It's a great accolade

for me to have in my career. But this, I just this mother slapped me is one of the slapping a man. It is one of the things that you can do to a man. It's a slapper man. And and and look, I've never been slapped by a man, but I've been spit on by a man. And that man will never spit on another human being in life. Okay, I don't play like that, so I would like I would not play like that. I like that right there.

I would have had the funk we are all away, not just a little bit all the way to funk up. I don't care about the oscars. I don't even fuck about decorum. I don't even ship about all y'all talking about where that was the respectful thing to do and say it would have just been what it was. But I'm glad I was not in that decision. And and I'm glad. I'm really glad, you know. And it's easy for me to say because it didn't happen to me,

but I'm glad that Chris did not strike him. I'm glad that Chris did not hit him back, because now you got two black men, two prominent black men, engage in this foolish and it would just look really fucking even more. And I'm and I'm not in the embarrassment. To me, it's not about how other people see us. It's about how we see ourselves. I don't give a funk everybody else thinking or whatever. I care about how

we see ourselves. And that overall that was not a good look for us, because there are people that young comics and young entertainers and young people period who look up to both of those guys and to see that type of foolish ignorance. You know what I'm saying, that happened, and you can't say certain ships in comedy, you know. I think it's you gotta. It's textual. You're at A. You're at a You're at an award show. You're gonna have a different state of mind. You're at an award show.

Everybody's watching, families are watching Boo all right, when he was that really really bad, No, I don't think it was bad because g I j g I Jane looks really good like dim Me Moore look good as fun as g I Jane. I think I think okay, because he said G I Jane, g A Jane too, that's Chris rock Man. That's like within the safeness of it's we're talking about movies. It's it's a celebration of movies. He said, G I Jane. That's contextual to what's going on.

It's movies. Dem Me Moore look good as funk with the shaved head. Um, Jada, you're not a bad looking lady. You look good. He was saying that, and and the fact that it got a laugh, she felt like boom the alopecia thing, but you don't look like you have alopecia. It wasn't about that. It was like, you look good, but he's Chris Rock. I'm a comedian. I thought Chris was in the right. I don't think he was that bad. He was complimenting her, and I thought they were friends.

I thought he knew them like that. But then he made a comment on them in and that's where that comes from. It's like me, it's like we didn't bump hands a few times before. I got something on my chest right now, and then now here we go again. And actually he probably laughed. That's that's what really laughed. It was like, see now that not now, that's what really really made a lot of people say, now do that wasn't cool because had he had he had that reaction.

I think that's what you made me feel. You made me feel bad. There I was cool, and then my wife he was the lame. And then they said it was playing. Everybody's saying it's fixed. Have you heard this ship? I was like, what my thing is this? Even if it was fixed, who the funk plan? That's stupid ship. I'm about to win the Oscar let's go up and once you smack Chris Rock, then go back and say, keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth. What kind

of plan is that? I don't know. A people say it was fixed, but I think I think we were just. I think he's coming apart personally because even when in his speech he goes, I'm tired of smiling people's faces when I shoot. I think that he's always been a good black kid for so long that he wants to shake that ship. And I think, and this some people may get mad at this, that Jada is part of this ship man. She's part of making him feel like

he ain't ship. Sometimes she might maybe she throws that Tupac ship in his face because he's like, oh, your wraps are a little corny. Tupac had real rhymes. Parents just don't understand. She never knows. I can't believe it. No, I love showing untands dope. She will some time like Smith fan. But I'm saying, come on rock the House album before that. But I'm saying what I'm saying. But what if I'm saying I remember this? Maybe she remember there's a video of her filming Will and he's like,

could you not do that. Stop filming me. This is not for your I take social media serious. And she's like clowning him. Maybe maybe that it was like we're not with them all the time. There could be some brawl out hard arguments where he's going, why the fund do you always do that to me? I don't know. Maybe I don't know. And she's living off of him. He's the he's the breadwinner. Funk what you heard? He's the king and she's been riding off his ship for

a while. I'm not taking anything from Jada because I'm a Jada pink I always love Jada Pinkett. But people are funking with you because of Will. That's what I think. Will Smith is the king. Funk what you heard? That guy got record for eight movies in a role grossing over a hundred million, and the residuals must be fucking crazy. Well here's here's the thing. Will be all right because he has character equity. Yeah, so he'll he'll be all right. Uh you know, hey, he do one ship. You know,

it just shows that he's human. You know, Well we always knew that, but sometimes people got to see that type of ship. You know. That's why personally, I don't mind like somebody seeing me like like going through some ship, because you know sometimes because the thing is is that if you if you come off too squeaky clean, when you do something fucked up, it's gonna be harder for you to recover. Look, man, I've done some fun in the past, and I'm gonna do some fun in the future.

I don't know when. I don't know when, but I'm telling you it's coming. And I'm trying to be a better man. I'm trying my ass out. Man, I'm trying to be a better man, and I'm hoping that that that I don't get caught up in something. But some sh it gonna happen because I'm not perfect, and I don't know when somebody's go flip that switch in the light. Don't come on. I don't know. I'm a black guy, you know what I'm saying. I don't know. I don't know.

I think our business is very frustrating. There's a lot of ship that they make you bottle up, especially as black man in America. Holy fuck. And then I see some guys I know that do stuff in the business that I wouldn't do, but they're getting there here. But I go, I can't do that kind of ship, and I'm and it angers me. Sometimes when I go, I like what, I like what I do, I feel great. I wake up going, yeah, mind clear, I go. You know what I mean? My ass ain't leaking none of

that ship. I'm good to go. I don't need a butt plug or nothing. I'm not leaving a trail of blood and fucking come on anguish and this PGG just day, man, I just did it. I said I don't need a butt plug. I said, I'm not leaking. I didn't looks this guy. He said, you're not toughing this guy up. I said, my buddy. I could have said, my asshole just got fucked. No, I said, hey, my butts leaking. I try to be as safe as I can. This guy's Disney World. He gave you a talk to anybody.

You know what I means. Every time I talk to this guy, this guy, let's make a PG. I've been coaching off fucking day. All of a sudden, this guy goes, hey, I might snap, and I just go, hey, hey, I get no respect. I tell you, I tell you no respect. I talked about my bus leaking all of a sudden, he has a problem with it. Hey, man, you're nick this is funny, and the motherfucker jack sleep ship talking about pussy and ship. Niggas ain't shit. I'm tired of

this ship. Damn. Nigga can't talk about it. God, Now the niggas is getting funed. We got to keep it real. Kiss my ass to get old. Boys. Your motherfucker's been talking about holes and ship. I said, my ass leaking this motherfucker turning the church and mother bucker. You got a lot of nerve. God damn. Oh, you niggas. You niggas are real funny. You niggas are very funny. Ghetto boys. You got a lot of goddamn nerve. Call yourself goddamn

ghetto boys. Fifth ward nigga, fifth goddamn war. God man, you are so fucking telling, man, God damn, God Damn. Paul Mooney, good god man, you fucking goddamn telling. Appreciate you, man, Damn. Coming from talented guys like yourself, who I grew up listening to, that's crazy. You know when I first heard about you guys, I was in Chicago and we turned to MPR NPR the end of the it's like a college. You know, every I think every city has an MPR college.

And they were like, we're gonna be playing, We're gonna play these new guys from out of Houston, blah blah blah. And it was like ghetto boys, ghett old boys, and ghett old boys don't funk with me. We're like funking these guys and we're like playing. That's how I heard about you, guys. Lout to Chicago, man, Chicago has been there from day y'all, y'all show us so much God, because we really respect Chicago, man. We really respect the

people in Chicago. And I'm gonna tell you something before you before you jump in Chicago oftentimes get a bad rap. It's not people. It is not the majority of people in Chicago who It is a very small percentage of people who are doing all they're doing all the foolishness and you know, along with a few corrupt cops. But anyway, just to let you know, Chicago has some of the createst, most beautiful people that don't know about some of the

coolest people that I've ever met in my life. You know that lives in it lives in Chicago and are from Chicago, and we have a fantastic black community, middle class, wealthy educated from Chicago. You got parts of the South side of the Western black folks that are killing the game that are all like hbc U ivy leaguers. They got there. They're like scientists, doctors, lawyers, murdering the game. Excuse me, sorry for that word, but they're they're they're there.

There's a strong black community and strong black president Chicago that are not all gangbangers the funk out of here. They just like to pump that ship up. But Chicago is a beautiful city. You can go to a lot of beautiful places and no one's doing ship. I mean if you go to the gang area and throw up some signs, yeah, but other than that, it's isolated ship. So yeah, I shout out to my Chicago folks for real,

for real house music all day, you know what I mean. Chicago. Yeah, But I'm saying like, yeah, man, this um the comedy, the whole comedy. Ship. Like I'm saying, like, when I look at the business, I go, man, I wish you know you can just go hey, I'm gonna take the road of integrity, all right, You guys, don't mind right, and I can get paid the same amount, you know, but it takes you a little longer when you decide to do that. And I yeah, of course, man, I

should be on TENSI cars by now. You should be playing the mail man like, hey, man, I got mail for you. You should be playing whatever the no doubt, doubt, whatever, no doubt you know. And it's that that that just goes to show. Man, the majority of people in this country who are at the top, who are in leadership positions, really ain't ship. I'm gonna tell you straight up, bro, really ain't ship. It's a lot of diabolical people in

in top positions because it's no way possible. Somebody could just watched you for five minutes and don't say, man, I need to get this guy. But what they want to know? Wait, waiten, what's his position on politics? What does he think about? But my girlfriend? He's gonna my wife? He is he gonna? Is he gonna? Is he gonna? I don't want to? Is he gonna try to? He gonna? Is he gonna try to? I think I think I'm gonna have to go with a sexuality. I'm gonna say homeo, no, no,

I'm a sexual. My friends just let me work. I have no sex. I don't like any of it. I'm nothing. UNI where if you can be anything other than the hetero sexual, you get you straight in well eight, doesn't they include a set? Yeah, LGBT just you. You can just call yourself in a thing sexual male, straight man. The way these motherfucking women are nowadays, they can call you out on anything. Now I'm just a sexual. I'll be like ship man after shows. I used to like, Hey,

what's up. I'd be like straight in agreeing room. Thanks by, I'm not ship. Everybody's calling the cops on everybody. Now you can't do ship. You can't even say hi, how are you? He aggressively said hard to me. I'm not uncomfortable. I look, I'm comfortable with that. He said. Hi. I said, what's up? But it was very I don't like the way he's stressed up. Yeah that that's not cool. Yeah, you know, because that's you know what it's like. But it's like, I come from the city where you're back

to it. Hey, how do you take a photo like kenle Reese? That motherucker does this with his hands, He keeps it out, He does that man, I put my hands in front of me. I'm like, yeah yeah, and girls were like, can I help get them? We're not doing that? Girl voice belted podcast sheep right back after

the point. That's still better than me because at one point I stopped taking pictures with girls I didn't know because yeah, yeah, yeah, I never told you this, Brad, But once once, Um, I was in the club one day in Houston and this dude, uh walked up to me and said, yeah, Willie Man, Yeah, what's up? Man? Uh? You know you you've been about to see my sister later? I mean no, no, he not. He didn't say my sister. He said have you been aby to see my nephew lately?

And I said who is your nephew? He said, uh yeah, such such such said the girl name? And man, don't you got a baby? A boy? My sisters? That's to hold on, bro, I ain't got no kids. I ain't got no kids. And he's like, he was like, and she got a picture of you on the man? You would hub on the man. I at my mom my house. I say, dude, do you know how many women that I take pictures with every fucking week? And the dude me me. He was a big dude too, but I

had already sized him up. I'm gonna break his ass down. But he was like looking down, like yeah, man, men, he got he was mad. He was frustrated that I would not claim this little kid that I didn't even know. So for a while, like I would. I would say about three maybe two years, I stopped taking pictures with women I did not know because I was just I was paragling. And and one day, one day I woke up, man,

and I realized I was depressed. And I realized that that was part of it, that was part of me trying to like live up to somebody else's expectations, because I wouldn't even if I if I went to a club, I wouldn't do any type of you know, get on the dance floor nothing, you know, not say that I could dance, but you know, we don't dance. We don't dance. We boogie, but I would not even get on the dance floor. I go into the v I p A and I just see it or I just stand around.

And I just realized, goddamn, man, I had to self diagnose in my sounds like I'm depressed. And that was why that was the reason, trying to live up to other people's expectations. Have you ever found yourself in that type of funk? If it feels like that nowadays, like you know, um, you have people turn on you that you know, like what And I have a clean record, like I'm I'm I don't even if if a woman rolls her eyes at me, I walk away if she

hasn't answered, I'm lazy. I've never been an aggressive like yo. I don't even know how guys be touching on girls and clubs. I'm not how do you just grab my hair like that? I just be like hey, And a lot of times I'll meet girls two friends to like if youre a group of people, hey, this is my old hey baba. But I'm never I've never cat called. I never was like yo, I never did I never did that. I think that's the corny is I've never done that in my life. I have said I know

that's right when the lady pays before, that's right. That anything that's not, But that's not like hey, alright girl, I've never done that. I'm very like like very you know, I don't even rarely look anymore. I'm just because it's like they've made it like that sort of you don't want to look, you don't want to do anything because everything's gonna stop me from looking. Bro I don't give Yeah, you could be like you could be like this and they'd be like they got you going looking man. That's

when he changed old girl right after that. You never know. If I can't if I can't look at a fine woman, I may as well just gone. I mean, it's like, I'm not saying this about all women, but it's like there's this empowerment where they go, I'm gonna have my titties out in my ass out, but you bet a fucking look at me. Uh huh. It's almost like that's a well not listen, I'm not talking about all women. So I don't want them to go no, of course not.

But it's like that's why when you go to Brazil or you go overseas, they like that you look at them. They love that. They're like, yeah, you're a man. It's good. You know. When I was in Russia, like yes, your the men. It's what you're the woman. Are you supposed to look at the woman? What's wrong? Nothing's wrong. It's a woman busy. It's not wrong. Your the man you're like,

it was no, it was I was a pitch. There was the foreigners like to go because you let the funk like, but you know, bloody got the bigger day, like you know, you know what. But one one of the one of the biggest reasons why a lot of women act the way they act when they come to drace, dressing and stuff, is because some men take it too far, you know, like women Obviously most women, I do believe I'm going good and said most women. I just say

many women. How about that? Many women dress provocatively because they want men to look. But they want the right. They want the man they don't you look, No, no, they want the man that they're attracted to. The look they want but exactly, but but you get the residual effect, right,

they're getting all of them, all of them, don't. And then you have and then you have you have women who are who are on guard because now you have all these uncivilized MUDs out here, who who if a woman rejects them, they want to swing on the h they want to stab, but they want to shoot, yeah, biting their faces. Yeah, Like come on, man, where did these motherfucker's come from and when did it start? In security? That's an in curity move when you go funk, that's

what the She don't owe you her number. Woman, don't owe you her information. She don't owe you ship. Just because you see a girl don't mean you own her because you know they'll be like, oh I saw you overre okay, all right, that's cool, but doesn't mean I owe you my number. The trip part about it that women don't a lot of times women don't know how to respond because because because if if they're just polite guy,

I don't know how to shut it down. He don't know if they're too aggressive with with their rejection, then he may take exception to it and take it even further. It's harder for women, man, it is. I feel bad because I'm not even like that. I wish I was, like, I don't. I wouldn't even do that. As soon as he says no, I remember one time I saw a girl and I was she was while I was like, man, she's nice looking. You know. I was with my buddies and they go, yo, go over there, and just go

over there, because we used to challenge each other. YO, just go try to get a number. I said, I don't even do this kind of ship. I said, all right, let me go over there. So I said, excuse me. I was real, excuse me. And she goes, oh, I don't really have to say, oh, that's okay, have a nice day. And she goes, you're not even gonna try, and I go, you said, no, I'm out. No. I said, I'm lazy than motherfucker. She actually laughed at the ship.

I was like, no, they have a good day. I was like, nah, I'm cool, because you know what that woman could be. She could have an ex boyfriend that's crazy. She can be going through some ship. They could there's so many scenarios of what they're going through, and we automatic thing. They're bit rejected me. No, dude. First of all, she's only got to calling no bitch. You don't have to say that. What if she's going through ship in

her life. What if she got a man that's crazy and she wants you to get the funk away from her, And what if it's just you don't she don't like you, she's not attracted to your ass. Keep it moving. Sometimes they don't like the way you were born, Sir, like, that's pretty much it like, if I going through go, she goes, she don't like the way I look, what are you gonna do? You? No, you can't even be It's what it is. It's fair. She don't like you.

Motherfucker move you know what I mean. You know, I'm so arrogant bro that in my mind if a woman, if I try to talk to a woman and she reject me, in my mind, it's her loss at the end of the day, because I know him, because I know him a good dude. Nothing, I'm a solid dude. I know I'm a good dude. And I just feel like she ain't gonna find the mother better me noway so, And there's nothing wrong that's that's really gonna be her long exactly. But I'm cool with that because because that's

what makes better me anyway. You know, I'm all no, no, it's over, it's over. And I always said, you know, you're not everybody's type. And another thing too, I said, if we were judged by conversation and intelligence, I would have I would I'll be smoking everybody I'm talking about just literally conversation. Oh come on now, but you got it.

But yeah, it don't work that way because because the impression is made within seconds, and you figured out, she figured out right away whether she's gonna be receptive or you not. And so she never even get a chance

to hear you. Here you're saying, yeah, but I can guarantee you that once she starts talking, once you get her number and y'all start come communicating, or even if you're just standing, uh, sitting in the appoint waiting, you know, it's a different story, no doubt, And and and I you know, I take pride in how I treat it. You know, I like to make them laugh that I don't try. I don't say sexual ship to women ever. Know that's why someone says you, yeah, you said that.

I go, no, I don't talk like that. And motherfucker's no, I don't talk like that. I don't say, oh, you know, I'm gonna be like a corny o white man. I'd like to have that for a breakfast. The funk is that corny ship. I would never say that to anybody. And you know, even after shows, women will touch on me, but but I'm not. I don't touch on them. I don't grab on them when i'm taking do that ship ever? You know, you put your arm around somebody, but it's

like you're taking a photo. But I don't grab him rub bullshit. I don't act like that ever unless I am consensually with you, and we are consensually sexual each other, and it's an agreement. I touch you, you'll touch me. I kiss you, you kiss me. You like that. I rub you, you rub me. It's all consensual. Yeah, that's basic ship. But nah, I don't just do that when someone didn't ask him. I didn't ask permission, and they

don't want that. I know when someone don't want me fucking around with them, You know that, you know not to tell. You know, woman will let you when she wants you too. If she don't want you to even be around, and she's gonna let you know, it's not hard. Oh yeah, you know. Oh yeah. And that's why I what I do is I just don't. I just go to the green room. I saved myself. I just go.

I go into the green room. And if anyway, like if you, if you're the guy, if it's Godfrey and here, like I said, Godfrey is on the mare a key, you already got the edge. That's what I'm saying. You know you gotta do. Remember remember Robert Wagner Heart to heart, Heart to heart, right, and when they met it was moista dad it. So I did a movie with him called Dennis the Menace Christmas and comes on every Christmas. I shot it in Montreal, and you know, um, Robert

Wagner's from the days of Sinatra, them cool motherfucker's. And one day I was he provided us all to dinner. He's eating this motherfucker's cool as ship, yo, and he's talking about not all this old movie ship. And you know when he was young, that motherfucker was handsome as ship. And he's like and there was this waitress like sir, fine black chick, serving us and stuff. And I was like, man, she looked real. She's nice looking, you know, and she's laughing with me and this, and I was like, oh,

I'm being very nice. And then I go and she's looking over my way a little bit, and I'm like, oh, I'm gonna go over there. So I like kind of go over there, right. I go over there, and I said a couple of things. I come back and Robert Wagner's just sitting there, going you gotta sucked up, kid, because like, what do you mean you already had her? You didn't have to move, guy like, you shouldn't be doing so much moving. He's like, you already had her.

She she already liked you. You might have funked that up. He did too much. He was so fucking gangs. This ship was so smoothly goes you didn't have to move a guy like you shouldn't have to move that much? Now where we were in Montreal? In Montreal, like but I'm saying, like what kind of venue were here? We were in the like a restaurant. It was a nice little rusta. I was private. It was nice. And then the girl was yeah, he was like she it was just when we were our exchange was very like. It

was like nice, it was nice. And I was making her laugh a little bit because she was I was like, oh, what's your name? Oh the great, Yeah I'm from It was like that. It wasn't like let me get that number. No, it wasn't that ship. And then you know, I was like, you know what, I think I wou over there and maybe you talk to her a little more because our food hadn't come yet, and I was like let me and he goes he did too much. Man, Let me ask you this, how did it work out? I did

too much? Man? He was fucking right. Damn. Yeah. Who have you had the most fun working with us? Yes? Besides beside you guys Man oh Man Breakfast Club. I mean you're talking about just in general, just comedy or no, I'm saying. I'm saying working with like like, whether it be comedy, whether whether it be movies, whether it be oh Man, anything, reginal Gangsters, Man, that was fun. I had fun because I I have because I was hating

Richard Rowntree. We we were in original Gangsters. Yes, Cambrira of Fred Williamson, Richard Rowntree, um Ron got back together, super Fly O'Neil ron super Fly. We had super Fly where wings Housing. Bushwick was there. Sorry, guys, I'm sorry he was there and Willy weren't there, but he was there in spirit right, and then there was who else was there? Um yeah, path Brier was cool as ship. I had fun doing it because I was at Jim Brown.

Jim Brown. Let me ask you by Jim, Yeah, have you been paying attention to his politics over the last two three years or maybe not two three years old? I don't really care about his I mean he's been remember he was hanging with Trump, right I don't really judge him from that. He's done enough work as far as for our community enough right now, I'm like, he's

he really making an impact? But do you do you live your entire life where you are making an impact and you are doing for your people, and then get to the end, you know, you get to the end and you just it away, just say, you know what, I'm gonna just throw my people under the bus and be a coon. Yeah you know what? Oh your song, your you're you're, you're comeded twice too? Is he a comb because he was because he took the meeting with Trump. Bro. You listened to his rhetoric. What is he saying like

herschel Walk some herschel Walker type. Got it? You gotta listen to him talk. What does he say? It's not just him, you know, because it's demension. He's fine, He's fine. Like when Bill Cozy was talking about black people like you you pull your pants up and you got put gls. Girls are under age, I'll getting pregnant. But you see, but you see, you see Bill ain't saying that ship No, Bill got his wake up call and see you know

it typically happens. Yeah, you got to wait, um, you got to wake up call, like someone like Candice Owen's man. The past a couple of times she's been saying some ship right on point though, it's like that's how they do, That's how they do. Charles Barkley is good at that too. What what this is? This is what they do. See now, I got a question here ship. You know so this this, this is what happened. This is what happened solid Yeah, I mean I ain't talking about what he'd be saying

about politics. Great basketball might have been a great basketball player, but he ain't ship as a man. The thing. The thing is is that you know, we can't afford to to have people that are we can't afford to have anybody period that's members of our society, um, disparaging us and throwing us under the bus. But we damn show cannot have people who are in positions of power and influence to be out there throwing mixed messages. This is

something that that's very good at doing. They're threw a few a couple of truths out there to get everybody gonna Yeah, man, I believe that that's real, that's right, right, and then they go like and the rest of it be all one sided. See, here's the thing when when you're when you when your criticism of the black community

outwear your contribution, your comb Okay, so watch them. Just pay attention to them, Watch what they do, what they're saying, you know what I'm saying, because because they can say some cool ship and you'd be like, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Then they say some sucked up ship and even oh that's suck up. Then they say good, shoot you back there, back there. See what I'm saying. It's always a lot of but watch but watch what they do, you know what I'm saying. So that ship she she she not.

She not for us, period. She's not. She's not for us period. Man. So you know, it's the same thing with the Stacy dass chick. You know she it was just she done. She's done, man. You know what I'm saying, She's done. She said, I don't even know how people have the nerve to say that kind of ship. On TV.

She goes, what if there was White History Month? But but check this out, but check this oute Godfred, People like Charles Barkley, Candys One and the rest of them, even Steve and A. They're talk that black talk down ship where I'm just telling the truth. They'll say shit about black people. But when had a motherfucker's collectively are generalized bad this bad ship about white people? When have they said made the disparaging comments about white folks in general?

They'll do that ship all day with black folks, but they will not do that ship with white folks. That lets you know what type of motherfucker's they are. That's all you gotta do. Just listen if you want to listen to him, listen to him, but watch what they watch what they do. But you can listen to these motherfucker's and tell what they really about just because they put on a suit and talk proper and all that old ship be on Fox. Dunt done with all the

theme music and all that old ship. That don't mean ship. Man, Watch the motherfucker's, watch what they say, and watch what they do. More important, girl Boys Reloaded podcast will be right back after the poet. What about Shannon Shark? I like, like, I just want to tell you something. Skill. You have to understand skill. This is eight It's I've been in the NFL for a long time. Skill, and you gotta understand some of these players skills. Skill. You really have

to be on. You have to be aware of yourself. Like my grandmother said, if you're a froggy, better jump. Now I understand Shannon is consistent. Now I know Skip, I say a lot of sayings that don't make no damn sense, But that's just the way I talk. From Stuth skil kill co on. You don't tell me Shannon. I like Shannon. You know Shannon. He's a great shooter, you know, and and and he's consistent. Okay, he's very consistent,

and you know he's gonna say what it is. You know, I'm to be honest, I'm surprised Shannon still on going because you know, I'm not gonna say he don't give a fuck. The reason he does give a fuck, that's why he's saying what he's saying, the ratings. He speaks, He speaks the truth, he says how he feels, he talks about he says what it is because he does care.

But he has a balance with Skip. Skip. You know, Skip his bayliss is they're listening to him, and Skip will validate a lot of ship that he says, so that the White agreement to helps too. You know, well, Skip can't help, but validated. I ain't gonna say validate because that means that he needs him to co sign to Skip ballet but but but Skip will co signed because Skip knows that he's gonna sound like a guy

damn food if he don't. Because Shannon be so on point he's going Shannon takes the wiggle room out of the argument. See, anytime you have you have to pick the wiggle room out because Motherucker's be sitting around waiting waiting to attack. They just be waiting on on the way to sneak and slither them in and and say something opposing to try to make you look stupid and make it seem like you don't know what you're talking about.

Shannon takes the wiggle room out, and Skip knows it, and so you know he has little choice if he don't want to look like a damn food Yeah yeah, um yeah, that's um because the way, um you gotta understand too, they work under Disney. Disney owns ESPN a lot of these big so they got it. How do you navigate? Okay, I want to be black, not lose integrity, And I got these corporate motherfucker's watching me, and Shannon knows how to navig hate that stephen A. I used

to watch him at the beginning. I used to watch him like first take it, He's like all right, yeah, Like then he just started saying crazy shit about like black I was like, really, how about saying nothing about us like that. I can understand if you don't want to be controversial, but why do you gotta shoot on us? And he always shot on black men? Yeah, got when he talked about black men. He's super badass. I'm keep

our name on your mouth. Man, Just be neutral. I'd rather you be neutral, and I'll understand, like I'll understand a brother's neutrality because I'll go I get it. I get it as long as you ain't sucking throwing us under the bus. I get why you're neutral, because sometimes we gotta be Everybody can't be outspoken. There's people, there's people like us that are working different ways. There's different ways to skin a cat. You don't want to be

like I believe that. No, there's people working in the law think that the black man and we got to come together because every time. Everyone I believe that the black man we are we are second class citizens. We have to understand that the black man and the black woman are not protected. We have to you know, we don't always have to do that. There's not everybody's gonna be a Malcolm X. There spurs people's skill for that.

That was Malcolm X. I just did and and and we have to understand that the white man makes us feel like selling class citizens. And a lot of you coons and negroes are walking around here, walking around here shucking and jibing all the time. They love using entertainers, clowns, and and and and and musicians to speak for black people. White people don't do that. I don't see M and M speaking up for white people. Do you see that. No, you should have black people that are are are educated

in policy and education. But no, you don't want to do that because you might lose that argument anyway. Time. Yeah, that's the beautiful thing about all those old footage. It is the same ship. It's like it's still happening. That's why I said, go watch the Malcolm X videos, go watch the it's nothing has changed. When James Baldwin, have you watched James bald James your Negro, I'm not your who. That ship is fantastic, and I'm not your right, I'm not your negro. And and James Balder was a gay

black man to a white woman he married. He may gotta go, but you've been going eight times. I got a new kid peeing on. Oh is that? What is it working though? Like a motherfucker good. I don't know. I thought she was tired of the damn. He's like, man, I'm out now, I'm back. Baldwin, James Baldwin, James Baldwin, I'm not your negro. Everybody should watch. That came out a few years ago. What you got coming up? What do I have coming? When is this playing? When is it? Um? Okay?

Right now? Okay? Uh? When I got coming up? Where he's had a white boyfriend? Where you got coming up? In the next few months and the next few months, I got oh gosh, I got by well the Miami Improv twenty two to four. I don't know if it comes out at that point. My iam got all the different You guys could check my um Instagram comedian Godfree and you'll see my dates. You know, I have my dates on there? Should I look up my dates? And yeah?

And what what about the the podcast What you Guys should be on Someday is in God Free We Trust, which is on the Gas Digital Network Tuesdays and Fridays at ten pm Eastern. It's Dope as Hell. I had Phase on on there. You know, I've had Lord Jamar on there from Brand Newbians, I've had Raw Dick. I've had a lot of different people on my my ship. It's Dope is Healthy. I came on. We were talking about the whole comedy controversy. Um, yeah, it's it's a

pretty good podcast. Gas Digital Network. Subscribe to it. So you talked to after the Oh yeah, after a little thing in Atlanta. Yeah, we talked man Atlanta. Hold oh, expeditiously. See this is what happened. I was in at the Atlanta Comedy Theater and I was finishing. I had done like an hour forty minutes. I got off my boys like hats hosts and say, yo, man, I'm gonna keep the show going. I go why I'm the headlines though in the show, no t I is gonna go up.

And I was like to do what? I was like, like, what do you mean like he's going up to wrap and some ship. He's doing comedy. I's like, what the fuck? And I didn't know O Cave doing to do comedy. Didn't know he's doing comedy. So I see him. I give him a pound boomba boom. It's t I. I'm a t I fan. I said, Yo, I'm gonna wait. I'll wait in the green room. Blah blah blah. And we talked, hung out a little bit. He was cool

ash Ship. And then when I went back to my podcast back to New York that you know, they were asking me, did you go watch him? I said no, I didn't watch him because I know he was doing comedy on I don't see him as a comedian. Not to insult him, but I just headlined, why am I gonna go watch him do what I do best? He's a rapper. I didn't know he was doing comedy, and I and and my thing is, I don't care that he's not doing comedy. It's just that I just finished

doing an hour and forty minutes. I always go to the green room and sit my ass down. And did he decompress? You know? After performance? You're like, Ship, could you could you hear what what? What? It was Atlanta Comedy Theater in North Cross is the dressing room the green room from Oh, it's not that far. It's like it's like it's like a few feet like there's two green rooms and the exited stage leads to the first green room and you can go to the other one.

I didn't really hear it. I was I was in the other room, in the other green room, the main one that I stay in, and I was like, I'm already finished. I'm not going to watch because I was like, he's doing comedy. I didn't because you know, I took it as in everybody's approaching comedy like it's easy. I'm like, I'm a purist, I'm a real comedian. I'm I don't funk around. I'm a real deal. You know what I'm saying. Not just me, but it's like you guys are a

real deal. It's like I'm the real deal. Like from Mike Gabs to cat To to Corey to Ship to Louisa, where the real do we do real comedy? And there's a lot of like Instagram people or whatever. And there's some Instagram people that are taking it serious and there's there's and there's younger guys that are and women that are taking this ship serious. And everybody's thinking, I'm gonna do comedy, like what's her name from Housewives of Atlanta

name Nini because she's she's a big personality. But it doesn't mean the transfers over the comedy. I'm not saying you can't do comedy, but I was kind of yeah, and I was. I would have. I just wasn't even that offended. I was just like, I'm not I'm not going to go watch because you were offended. I wasn't. I was. I don't. I wasn't offended. I just wasn't interested because I was like, he's doing comedy. I don't get it. Like I was like, that's all that's for me.

But he felt like I insulted him the whole nine and and he and he expressed it in the video. Everybody was calling me. You see the video t I made. You know when t I goes into the woods, When he goes into the woods, he's mad at something. He goes. I asked something to say. I want to express myself. Uh, the other day Godfrey expeditiously. You know, t I is my man and we and Nick Cannon shout out to Nick Cannon um he Um called yeah, I said, can we make a FACETI I'm wanna FaceTime him. We talked.

He said, I respect you man, you O g get you. You wanted the best. I appreciate that that man, I funk with you. I just was I was just talking like a comedian. I'm I'm a headliner. I'm not coming out watch you. That's hustling, funk. I look like I'm the headliner. You're t you're a superstar, but I'm the

star of this comedy show. So you were You were actually protecting your bag going farward also right by not going out there, because if you if you had went out there after that, it takes away from the it take not only does it take away that moment, but it could affect your bag later down the line. You know, like if somebody get away with that once, they'll try you again. That's what I'm saying. So yeah, it's like it's just they's just code of ethics. That's all it was.

It wasn't him doing comedy. That going good for you. And then I said, man, you're really taking this ship serious. He goes man I've been going. I said, that's what's up. Be ready for the grind, because comedy is a fucking what to get the art form itself, I'm not talking about the travel t I don't have problem traveling the guys loaded. I ain't talking about the art itself is a grind. To get it down takes a lot of work. It's sculpting. I don't give a funk with anybody's says.

I don't care what anybody says. You can listen to the podcast talking whatever you want. We can go pound for pound on the mic. It takes a lot of work. When I first did comedy, I knew I was funny, but I didn't have shipped to say. And Bernie Mac used to tell me that ship he's like the motherfucker you know, they can just come up here and do the ship takes a lot of mother wuck work, you know. Yeah, when Bertie used to fucking school me on ship. Yeah, he goes to guys, he goes, you know, half the

motherfucking job. It's being interesting. You gotta mother fucking interesting, you know. Motherfucker's I don't want to be in a room with your asks. He used to say that ship. And I used to be like, yeah, they wanted and then he says, you gotta. It's like you gotta put the time in. You know. That's I've learned that from Seinfeldt Seinfeld when he when he talked to me and say, hey, how long you've been doing Comedy's about ten years? I said about ten years. He goes, you're a ten year old.

That's your that's your agent comedy. Remember that, you know Seinfeld but doing comedy since the seventies, I've been. I was advised by Cosby before all this ship happened. He he gave me advice. That's when his son was murdered. I was there. I was working there. Yeah, I was there. I was there. I remember the day and everything. He said. I remember the ship, I said, because you could come into his office and talk to him. He had his

cigar and ship. He goes, hey, you know, I said, hey, you can just walk into his armies open, say hey, what's up that Steve Black? He better close that damn dope. Yeah, just walk your ass in. Yeah no, And Steve. Steve gave me advice when I was in a comedy team in Chicago. He gave I was in a duo and my man, and my man was sucking up the whole thing because I was writing all the ship. He was getting high drunk for getting the lines. And Steve Harvey. I was in the hallway. It was a place called

All Jokes Aside in Chicago, All Jokes Aside. My man Raymond Lambert shout to Raymond Lambert, Mary Lindsay and James Alexander and he goes, um, he mean, he goes, what's wrong, man, I said, My partner keeps forgetting my house. In the comedy team, it was called Godfrey and Alexander. My first year we opened up for del Givings and Steve and t K. Kirkland and he goes, uh, yeah. T K is the one that got me my manager, and he's the reason why I moved to New York. T K Kirkland,

God Damn. T K got his hand and everybody that's the truth. T K sounds like he's lying. When t K talks, he sounds like he's lying. And he's not. No, No, I believe it. One of those he's like Godfrey, I got him to go to New York. No, I was there and you'd be like he's lying. No, he's telling the truth. He talks like how this dude just moves around man, and how he's just been involved in so many peaks. My my first manager, I moved to New York out of him arranging that ship. It was T. K.

Kirkland shout and my first and my first. My first roommate was Viola Davis when she was at Juilliard Acting School. And I saw Viola not too long ago at an interview at nine two Wide in New York, and I met her backstage and she goes, there, goes my roommate. She remembered me, So what does Steve. Steve was like, So, he's like, you're the funny motherfucker. You're the funny one on that one. He's like, you're the funny one. You know you You're the mortalented one. He goes, how much

you getting for this? I said, I'm getting about We're getting like a hundred bucks. He goes, are you tired of splitting that ship? I said yeah. He goes cut his ass and he walked off. That's when Steve Harvey had a ball this fot. He goes, I remember, he goes, I'll see you later and he walks off. And I go, I'm gonna cut his He goes, cut his ass. That's your money, boy, he's ass. He's dumbass up there wasting time. You ain't got time to be splitting that ship. Get

your hundred dollars, boy, Cosby said. Cosby goes, he goes, he goes. The first thing, he goes writing, you got to put it on the paper. You got the right son, You got to writing. Your ideas have to go on the paper. You have to write every he got to be writing the ideas. But oh yeah. Then he goes, I want you to see the word show business, show business. What is the long bigger word business. He goes, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's like writing, you got to write, put it in.

And he says, you know, sim bad. He knocks it out the park, SI bad. But the dupeuper dope. Yeah, it was beautiful. Though. I got advice from a lot of great people. Man worked with Robin Williams. We have the same birthday. No, he never really gave advice. He just sat quietly and and and But you if you got him hyped like I would, I would talk like that, you know, that corny black voice, and he would start doing it. I'd be like, what's up, Robbie be like, hey, man,

I'm good. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, brother, Yeah, he's like a little yeah, you know what, the little corny black and he does. And he's the nicest man though. He's one of my favorite. Such a nice man. Same birthday, July twenty one, And he's such a nice I've worked with a futimes. He's a humble, humble, humble that dude. Oh he was great, great dude. I work with Raymond Moano sometimes good another good dude. Yeah, I've worked a

lot of good, good folks. There's some good comedians. George Wallace, same birthday, George. You know, there's a lot of stupid people out here. I'm just so tired. You ever see somebody just so damn stupid. I'm so you know, that's George Wallace. Man, that's my man, real humble dude, always encouraging. He's like, man, you're just so talented, Godfrey, You're so talented. Just just keep it up. You're just beautiful. Just keep doing it, man, just keep doing it. Yeah. Yeah, I

used to like when he used to do that. There's something just don't make no sense. Yeah, Yeah, he's funny, funny dude, man. Yes, so yeah, I've been fortunate to work around really really great comedians the whole nine, seeing people, you know, get to the top, man and you go, yeah, I'm almost there. Yeah, I'm there. I'm a successful comedian. Not let me not sit there and go you're kind of anything. No, I'm a successful that you are. You are, you are successful. Uh but with that, we know that

the opportunities out there for comics on your level. And how so how frustrating is it that you don't get those opportunities? Fat man? Who doesn't want to be in a Spider Man movie? Yeah? Funk? I grew up on Spider Man. I met Stanley three times. I you know, I uh yeah, who doesn't want to be in all that ship? You're I'm a you know, we grew up boys. Man. We want to we want to do a tuck and roll and shoot a gun. We want to drive a car, fast car, get the girl. Yeah I would. I Yeah,

it's frustrating. Man. I'm a pretty good actor too. I have great acting teachers I've studied under in New York City and uh yeah, lady by name of Alice Spivack she passed away, though. Alice Spivack in New York City's legendary active teacher. And yeah, and I yeah, I have I have pretty decent chops. I didn't say I was Denzel, but you know, I'm decent. And I see a lot of cats that I go, I think I'd better skilling that guy, and and you go. But you know, it's like it's my bed. I have to lay in it.

I chose to do this ship. I chose it. And this business has always been like this. I didn't just come into a go what I didn't know? They It's always been the thing. And and then I then I kind of back up and go, We'll think about what step and Fetch it went through. Think about what Hattie McDaniel went through, Think about what moms maybe went through. Think about what what he Strode went through. Think about

Sydney put all these people from the past. Think about how much worse it was, you know what I mean, motherfucker what And I'm and then sometimes I start to do that and I go, let me chill. I've I'm so fortunate to be doing this job for twenty some years. No job, I win. I told my own shots. I do what the funk I want. I get to travel everywhere. I have great crowds. I'm making money doing what I love. Man, Come on, and it's not like I haven't been on anything,

you know what I'm saying. But you but as an artist, we still want other things. You're like a plant. If you put a plant in a in a body, it's gonna still try to find other ways to extend. I want to do more films. Hell, yeah, I got the skills that I would love to be on. Have my own show. Yeah, single cameras from Dope ship. I watch a lot of television, lots of movies. Yeah, I want to do my own shift. I would love to go here. I have something, let's do it, you know. And I

and it's coming. You know, it's just something. Some people's lanes just it's just it's like traffic. Some lanes are moving slower than others, but you're going to the same destination, you know what I mean. Yeah, I'm gonna get it though it's it's impossible for me not to. Yeah, I want to appreciate that. But I like, like I'll be doing good you know, good times. It's coming out animation, you know, they're doing Good Times animation for that Flix.

I'm doing some characters on there and Cree Summer Crease Summer from from what is it called? From Different World? Remember Freddie? Remember the girl Freddie. She was a little She is a you know, she's a voiceover master. Oh, inspector gadget. She was the girl for thirty years. She and she is producing the voices. She coached me and some of the voices I'm doing for Good Times the animation series come out on Netflix. She coached you. She coached me yesterday. Yeah, it was crazy. She was there

in the zoom. I was like, how many different voices she's done, like over thirty and forty of them. She does a lot of voices. It's crazy, little girls, different animals, ship like that. She's bad as ship. Yeah, it's like Keith David. You know Keith David. You ever see Dead President? He was curly the older Black Men or um damn Dead Presidents with Lorenz Tate or um something. Oh Atlanta remember Atlanta with t I remember he was the rich father.

Remember the girl that was pretending like, yeah, he's good. He does talks like this the whole time. A lot of voice over what I was in on time. I was in an audition, a voice over audition. He walked in and I threw my papers up. Everybody started laughing. I said, the fuck. I'm sitting at him like practicing my ship going remember Prudential. And he comes in, How you doing, gentlemen? I said, man, Yeah, you know, he

does a lot of the PPS. He does a lot of PPS, narration, PBS, he has the Jack Johnson documentary. He's He's that's his voice. The Jazz tempar series is Keith David. He does a lot. He does Gargoyle, he does a lot. He's amazing, And I want to do stuff like like him. Yeah, were you amazing? To man? I want to see you do stuff appreciate. Even even even with the Joe Rogan thing, he's following me. Now yeah, I haven't been on it yet, but he's Joe's following Joe.

They say, Joe's following me. Yeah, it's following me. Come on, Joe. I mean, he's a big fan of yours. I mean, I know he has to, he has to pick people on his own. But I've done so. I've done like a lot of his friends podcast. You know what I'm saying I just have Everyone's like, what are you going to do? Because it took me a long time to do Breakfast Club. You're on his radar. That's cool. That'd

be fun because I love his podcast. Yeah, a lot of my friends are on it, man, and they are blown up from that ship he did had the Magic Touch. But you guys are your numbers are pretty damn good yourself. Yeah, Okay, everyone's like when we can't on a small get old boys. But yeah, but this is what I'm glad to be on this. I was like, what they gotta do this? Hell, yeah, you got to do your show too, man. Yeah, man, we can zoom it. It's all good because to talk

to you, that'd be fantastic. What are you recording? I recorded the lour East Side of New York City, but we always got a feed. I just did Sham. You know, I'm have to come to do that show by myself though. Use well, I put it like this, if Brad can make it, fine, But but but my daughter lives in New York and so so I need to go back

to New York. She's just left Houston, but to go back, but I need to go to New York because I have to, you know, as I find I got to go in and make sure I got gold to look around seven. Okay, she lived in Manhattan. I have to go down are like. She's like right by Radio City. Meet. She's not that far from me. I'm I'm by not too far from Carnegie Hall. She's she's very she's right there, she's like three blocks. Okay, she's a lawyer. Right, Yeah,
