My name is Brad Scarface Jordan, and I'm ac mother. Gett boys, it's back and reoded all in your mind. Yeah, not deep throating. This is for the streets, the reel, the railroading, the distant franchise, the truth, the scapegoating. And they ain't knowing we speak the truth, so they quoted because we wrote it. The North South East Coach, the gv my te keeping your head bobbing, it ain't no stopping and wants to be drips head by. And then the system is so corrupt they throw the rock out
of their heads and then blame it on us. Don't get it twisted on code and me dancing for no futament biscuits. It's Willie d y'all. Mr Scarface is back in the building. Collectively, we are to get old boys reloaded with another episode of information and instructions to help you navigate through this wild, crazy, beautiful world. In the studio. Fam in the studio with me right now, man scar Face. Now let's let me tell you something. Family. His son
Chris is also here. Chris, as you know, gave Scarface the gift of extended life, and we're gonna bring him out shortly, but first I want to go heads up with my partner and Ryan Brad Jordan scar face man, man, man, man, it's beautiful to see you live and in the flesh and healthy. How you feel, man? Feel pretty good? Will? Yeah it went fairly well, man, Yeah, yeah, put pull up on, pull up on that mic. Yeah it went
fairly well. Man. Um I went, uh, funny thing like we were in that um in the prep room, right, Chris had his room in my rooms next door. It's where you came. What's Chris already going when you got done? No, he was still there. You've seen hi when they pushed him out. Okay, So what I said when he pushed in mind Chris forgot all about it? Dug he did? Yeah, but yeah I thought he was I thought he was lusive. He was like, uh yeah, man, yeah, I feel good.
Everything's good. You know. I was like, okay, I sold you. And then like when we talked to him, ladies, I don't remember nothing on. Yeah. Man, I was worried about my boy man because he was just they pushed him up and we weren't together no more, like damn. Yeah, So they had Chris back there. They must have been uh taking this kidney up. And then while he was back there, they was like, it's time for you to go. You die. When I left, when I had to go,
I was okay. So this is what I remember. I remember him pushing me out, and I saw the door. I saw the door where y'all had to go. And I've seen the door where I had to go. And I told her later, I didn't feel nothing, and and I'm talking, uh the n ceologies, I didn't feel nothing, And she says, well, you know, I always win in
the end. And then I just remember waking up. Now, how did you feel knowing that you was purposely about to be sedated and you and you're going into a situation where this is a life like this, this could this could jeopardize your life and having this surgery. You know, these things go well most of the time, but there is a small percentage things go bad. And you're purposely going in this situation where you're knowing that there's a slim, very slim possibility that you may not wake up. Man,
how was that? So? When? When? When when you think about doing dialysis? Will and how I make you feel after and just being connected to a machine for for forever, Like I was willing to take that chance, man, you know what I mean. You know, I know it's it's selfish, but man, I would rather fucking not do that dialysis. Ship. And it's been many days in a year while I was on dialysis that I was just like, fuck this,
I'm done with this ship. Suck it, you know, because I didn't see an end to it, you know, I didn't see I didn't see it ending. I just saw me spending the rest of my life on a fucking machine, you know. And and that's not how I wanted to live, because I was always attached to the machine, you know, the machine said in my bedroom like a piece of furniture. You've seen it. And I just I just did not
want to do that ship no more. Man. And when I got, you know, to the point where were in the hospital and my son was in the hospital, I'm like, oh, Ship, I had one of those moments like oh fuck, I'm gonna get a kidney. And I did not know what to expect the how I was gonna feel after I got it, you know, because I felt like ship all day long, you know, doing dialysis and without a kidding you never know how valuable or or how much a kidney is needed until it's gone all right, And and
that that is a filter for your body. It built as all this ship out of your body, the bad ship. And and and and thank God for my son bro because he came't throwing the clutch. He told me, paying I don't don't even worry about that. You know, I had a couple of um children that wanted to give me kidneys. You know. I was like, Ship, I appreciate you all, but I don't know man. And Chris is like, you know, you're getting his kidney. I was like, I'm
not working with that kidney. Like, man, you're gonna get this kidney. Yeah, you had a couple of thousands at least, people from all over the world who was stepping up to the plate and volunteering to give you a kidney. You know, like how important was it to not just have the support from your family and close ones, but also people who you inspired with your music around the world.
You know, realie, when when when I think about my career and the impact that I had on other people's lives, you know, it's it's just starting to catch up with me now that I'm starting to slow down. You feel me like I'm now feeling like, oh, damn, I really said some ship, you know that that really touched some some some people's lives. I listened to my catalog now I'm starting to listen to my music again, and I like, damn,
I was saying some good ship. I probably can never write like that again, but yo, it's it's it's it's a beautiful thing to be able to express yourself with words and people fall in love with that, that part of your um, that part of your talent, that your energy, your your ability to deliver a story like that, you know what I mean. So you know it's it's a blessing, bro, it really is. Man, And they have somebody that you don't even know step up and and say they willing
to give you a kidney. And not only were they willing to give me a kidney, will they put their names on the hospital register, you know what I mean? For for actual people that were willing to donate kidneys. And I think, if I'm not mistaken, it was like fifty people on that list. They just stopped, they shut the list down. It was that meaning people that were willing to give me the gift of life. Man, it was hitting me up in my dams, like like they're
hitting me up. I know they're hitting you up, and they're hitting other people up. I'm seeing this come in man, I'm like, you know, like I know your contribution. Man, I was there the whole time, but to see the reaction from the fans, to see them people just like say, hey, Willie D can you tell Brad that I'll give him a kidney? I'm healthy. I never smoked before, I drink before. How do I get involved? You know? Can you put my name on the list? Like damn? Like it tripped
me out, like I knew. I mean, I've been to concerts. I've been into your concerts where I've seen you on stage and I've seen grown man. Cry well, I've been on stage and i'd seen some grown What are you talking about me? I've seen you kicked them on the face off the stage. What we're talking about We're talking about you. We're talking about you. I said you kicked the funk out of something. I like, yeah, damn, when are we gonna be fighting? Like I've never kicked anyone
that didn't deserve it? Okay, reason yeah, yeah, But but you know this is that I didn't. I was not expecting you to say that. You know, man, my pastor watching this stuff, Your pastors watching right now, My pastors watch ship. We better stop cushing in, Willie. Yeah, yeah, I gotta stop that ship man now. But anyway, man, anyway, moving forward, how did you prepare for this? You know, like it you knowing that you know what you're what you're going through. How did you prepare? How did you
stay positive throughout all your struggles? I mean I saw you, bro, I I've heard your voice. Sometimes you were up, most of the time you were down. I never know what to expect when I called you. I didn't know what type of condition that you were in from day to day. How did you remain positive? Uh? In all honesty, Willie, I don't. I don't even think. I you know what. I think that Chris kept me in the spirit m hm. You know, because he's always coming there and he has say,
you know how much time we gotta left? You know, two more weeks, two more days, Oh we gotta wake up. You know. That kind of ship and that that kind of kept me um inspired. Man. You know, but when it's all said and done, you know, it's it's nothing like being on that fucking machine, Willie, you know, and and and and the feeling that you get when you get off of it. All you can do is just sleep, you know, you just be drain because it's sucks your fucking blood out and it sucks all of the fluid
out and puts it back in your body. And it's just like, Man, I don't I don't want to do this ship no more so, my um man. My advice to anybody until everybody that still has function in kidneys, man, is to make for goddamn show that you get you a nefrilogist, man, and you keep up with that. You know, we're looking out for our blood pressure and our heart and ship like that, but we're not checking for our kidneys.
And we should really be checking for that ship because now that I think about it, like your heart can go and they can put stints in it though they can you know what I mean, they can put you can put a defibrillate or whatever. Then that thing is you know, uh, whatever that is to make your heart work, what is it? Call? I'm not sure what you're talking about, Willy, you know, goddamn will you adopted almost no, because yeah, that's a pacemaker, Willy, it's a pacemaker. Yeah, it's a pacemaker.
They put that ship and they put stints in, they do this and do that. You know, heart can be you know, but man, once the kidneys to go, you on the machine, yeah, man, that man, that machine a motherfucker. Man. Then you can ask anybody and and it's it's people that's done way more, way more years than I have
done on the dialysis machine. And man, I feel for them and I respect them, but I just prayed that they get get that kidney, man, you know, like I pray that they get that kidney because it's nothing like being detached from a machine that she was attached to, you know for all that time. And I only spend a year and a half on it. Okay, So I know, I I know I shouldn't be talking about it, but bro, I don't never want to do that no more. So whatever it takes to avoid getting on that machine again,
I'm gonna do. Let's rewind. Go ahead, what did the doctor tell you that you could have done to prevent that in the first place? The whole process of losing you're having kissing so so here's the thing. Will So from the time I was twenty five up until now, you know, I've been struggling with my blood pressure issues, okay, and that blood pressure issued that carried all of those years when the COVID came. When the COVID came, it
just knocked that pre existing condition out. You feel me like like if if if you have any problems, any pre existing conditions, when the cavid come, that's gonna kill it. It's coming, you know what I mean, It's gonna happen. So first it filled my lungs up with fluid and couldn't kill me. Then it filled my heart up. The sack of my heart is filled it up with fluid. So I had eight hundred and fifty c season fluid in my heart and it collapsed one side of my heart.
So they drained that ship out um my lungs. They ended up um getting getting that water off my lungs and fluid off my lungs, and then it just hit my kidneys and killed it. So my creating level went up to a nine that day when I caught the covid, So you saw it rise and it just went to a nine. So the kidneys was gone. And what is a normal level one one between one and three and so at nine years years past, yeah, you're gonna out of there. As a matter of fact, when I got
this kidney, it actually went into um rejection. And that's when I went back to the hospital. When you see me the second time in the hospital or the third time, whenever, time it was um. So the an he went in the rejection. So I stopped paying again. And remember this thing right here, don't remember that, Okay, they put it
on this side now. So they plugged me back into the dialize and then they gave me some more immune suppressing UH drugs to go ahead and take my immune system down even further so my body won't attack that kidney because it was like the kidney was throwing up the wrong gang signs and my body and the mother like, who is this nigga? Say, we know y'all two back here. You know I stual have got two other kidneys too. So they put the yeah I got two other kidneys.
They got the kidneys, the original kidneys they in there. I thought they took them out. They don't take that ship out. They never take the one, no, sir. So they stayed not how does that work? What is the purpose of keeping them there? I don't know. I ain't mad at the motherucker still lad but ship, I mean, they didn't take them out, Willie. They just put him in there. They just put another one in there. So then I got three kidneys. I got three whole fucking kidneys.
That's that's news you can use. Yeah, you got three kidneys, and I got a buddy that's got four. Yeah yeah, uh to Farroh Cook is in um. He may be in Tampa now, but he runs as you should look him up to. He's got a cool little thing for people, that Scott kidney failure, and he really helped me a lot. I'm just thinking that some people have had five and
six kidney transplants? Are you serious there? Every last one of them saying probably, and is the only person and Show was the only person I know that that um only has one kidney because they took his ship out because he said the kids kidneys with twenty two pounels a piece. So how motherfucker's had to be this big? He had two babies in his body. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he had twenty two pounds of kidneys and his ship
and they they removed his kidneys. Yeah, yeah, your son Chris did an honorable thing by he did his kidney. He did. What How did you guys get to that moment? What I mean, how did you don't know him with the ask? Hell, come on, I asked him for ship. As a matter of fact, I'm pissed so much. Will he need to come get this motherfucker back? Or you do?
You would you'd like me to help you schedule? No, man, he got a young kidney to that motherfucker's every big team in is I'm in the bathroom pissing like a race horts drip mout mutic what they call it. But I don't know how he came to that conclusion. But once his mind was made up, he's a whole lot like his dad. And once once it's once, says yes, it's yes once his note, you ain't even got ask no more. H Yeah. So that's where we are similar
in a lot of ways. You know, when the decision is being made, what's the first exciting thing that you did that you couldn't do and pass? Once you got your kidney and you you were healthy on the ground moving around again, the first thing I did, man, I ate some fucking ice cream, Willie, and a chocolate brownie. Listen to that, man. That's simple, man. Everybody, everybody with kidney failure that's on dialysis right now. No, you cannot have chocolate and you cannot eat ice cream. And that's
the first thing I did, Bro. I got me some chocolate ice I mean, I got me some vanilla ice cream chocolate brownie. And then for dinner, I got me a milk. Well, you're not supposed to drink milk anyway. I don't give a funk, Willie. I drunk some milk. Milk is for cows. I'm a fucking cowboy. I'm a bull, bro, I'm a fucking bull. Now. Now what did you drink the milk with? Man? What you brownie? Willie? I've been
eating weed, man, like it's a lot of chicken. So you ain't the brownie and you and you flush it down with milk. I did. But I'm telling the milk, white man, white milk. Man. Listen, where don't drink known that it tastes good like milk. I've been eating weed with it. How is that experience? Man? And did you
eat we eat today? Willy man? It's nice man, hey, so so let me say this man, so, so the whole while I'm on dialys is I'm not smoking weed, okay, and and and a man like it's been a while like because we like when I got old and ship in my chest started like I smoked too much weed and my chest was hurt real bad. Right, So my son with his ass, he comes in the house with some edibles. He said, pop. He caught me pop, try his pop. Man, I ain't one of them other fucker's
man and went to the moon. I called my son Brad Julie. I say, bro, I got some ship. Was it a cookie or brown? It was? It was a gummy. So I called Brad Junior, right, the whole gummy right listen, I called Junior right, I said, Junior, I found it. I got it. He said, what you got, Pop? I say, I got it. I got some edibles. He said, man, you're gonna look around there and sending yourself to the moon by accident. I would send myself to the moon
by accident. And that's exactly what happened. I think I might have ate too much and I was too high, so I had to go outside and get some al came back and cut the ac condition all the way down to like sixty, and then I was cool. Yeah, but I've been eating weed will and I think it's something that I want to share with you. No, I'm cool, I'm cool. Cool. I don't know why. I don't know why not. Wait, I don't know why. Every time I want to try some ship, you don't want to sunk
with me. But when you want to try some ship, you know what I mean? Like you see how you see this? You see this happening now, but check this out. Normally when you want to try some ship, it's something. It has an element of danger. Me on the man know, hey, man, I'm trying to look out for everybody. Man that yeah,
I'm trying to look at man. Get in No. No, like that time with the Canada, okay, and you you you you you bought a briefcase in the fur coat and put the motherfucker in the trunk and they stopped to say custing Like that time right there when I legally bought a briefcase and a fur coat. Yeah, but you hit it in the trunk. When when you hit it, is it damn briefcase is gonna go? You told me it was nothing back there. Did I say that? If I said that, I said that to pretend to everybody
I know. We was in the motherfucker's customs for about three hours the motherfucker to talk to run a call looking for what. But look, everything turned out well because we got back safe to the US, and so did the briefcase. And you see what I'm saying, man, everything turned out well. Hey man, we have had some hell of a time, me and Willie Man and and to be able to to to sit here, you know, thirty years later, man, and build with you man, is a
beautiful thing. Man. I thank God and my son Chris for for for bringing that, you know, to to making this happen. Bro. Absolutely, man, let's do that. Chris. You want to come in well, yeah, Chris, Christopher, Yeah, yeah, Ladies and gentlemen, Chris Jordan's yes, sir my. He wrote what's up? Chris? How you feel? Man? I can't do no complaining, christ your hero, Chris, do do you know how inspiring what you did is? Do you really understand the magnitude of I can't. I don't think I've come
to that realization just ship. Yeah, I don't think I have the thing is that this beauty on it's a it's a beauty docademy going on here? What is that mean? So you have so you have on one side you have a son who gives the extended gift of life to his father, and then you have a son who gives the extended gift of life to a hip hop icon. That right there, man, you know, like, it's just beautiful man, And you can't and one can't outweigh the other. But I don't know hip hop I can exactly, you know
what I mean. So everybody's like, man, you saved the legend, you saved the icon. But to you guys, that's who I saved. But for me, I just saved my dad. And that's where I'm going with this because I know you know you like that, right, I know you to be an honorable cat, And I know that that ain't what That's not what moved you. You know what I'm saying. I know that you was moved by your love for your father, right, you did. And I haven't said that.
Your father talked a lot of ship to you. He'd be smacking like him up, he'd be cracking on you. Like has that changed? It ain't changed, not at all, not even a little bit confect. What you hear the battery between man, it's just absolutely amazing. Even when he was in the hospital, he's like right after, uh, you know you did the surge, I was like, man, where Chris? He said that chumped down the hall. I don't know what it was. That's what I called all the boys,
ain't chump? Yeah? What's up, chump? Because I'm the champ, right, I'm the champ. Yeah. You know what, though, Chris Man your hero. So I'm gonna change your name from chump the hero. Now he's still chumping me, man, Just Ris up, Chris, Chris. I saw that you had posted something about Oregon Donating UM after the surgery and everything took a place. You know, how involved are you in that capacity? Right now? I'm forming the organization to bring awareness and education to organ
donation UM. I want to say, there's a hundred and twenty thousand people on the transplant list, and ten thousands of those people die every year waiting on the transplant. So if I could bring education and knowledge to Oregon donation, maybe there'll be more people like me willing to save a family member or even a stranger may ask your question, Chris, So you have one kidney, just one, and it's functioning
just fine. And if that kidney go out, then uh, because I gave the gift of life within I believe it's ninety days. If need be, I would get a transplant. Wow. So yeah, so that is that is one of the perks of being a donor. You go to the front of the list if you ever find yourself in apposition
you need Chris, she saved my life, broa. Yeah. But if you think about it like this, Um, I actually save two people, you know what I mean, because I saved my dad and then the person behind him on the list was able to jump up on the list because I took him off. Uh, you know what I mean. They'll get that other person. Let me get there sooner, right, you know what I mean. Fathers, be good to your sons, man,
you know, because I know something. I know some sons after like yeah, yeah, I got some sons like that right now. Listen, Chris. If like, I'm always hard on Chris, because Chris is a lot like me, So I really really tough on him. I don't think hard is the word, but what's the word Chris was after Hard was after hard. No, I'm really really tough on him because I know the potential. You know what I'm saying. I know he listened. I know he can see it. You know, I know he
can hear it. You know. All he gotta do is take all of that ship and put it towards something. It's that Check this out, though, check this out. My mama used to say the same thing after she beat the hell out of me. I don't beat him up, mother, big Well, that's good, that's that's good because you know, sometimes I hear parents say, you know, I'm hard on you because I know your pretending. My mom used to tell me. My mama used to tell me, she said, I'm hard on you because you're going to be better
than the rest of him. My mama used to say that, she said, you're special. Damnit, he's gonna be better than the rest of him. And I used to like be like, man, I'm a kid, I don't want to be if I got to go through this ship, I don't want to be better than the rest of I gotta take his asshippers. I don't want to be better than the rest of him. Hey, your mama wouldn't mean really, don't tell a lie. She wouldn't mean not to you. She was very nice to Brad. My mom was very nice to you. But now my
my mom. It is what it is, man, And I'm not I'm not gonna try to disparage my mother, my mother. You know what I'm saying. R I P. But you know the truth. But the truth is the truth, bro, and I'm never gonna try to sugarcoat the truth. I do believe that we all preach our eulogy daily. And if you don't want people to remember you in such amounner, you should probably not give those memories, right, You should
not probably not act in a certain way. Wait a minute, did your mama hit you with with a fifth man? My mama hit me with your fists. Goddamnit, my mom and hit me with everything she could find. You know that that's the thing that wasn't everything that wasn't nailed down. That's why you're great, man, You're great women that I think that I think a bigger part piece of reason why I am who I am is because of my determination,
my will not to fail. But that there have been a lot of people who have endured the same amount of atrocity and gave up, and they gave They wasn't as strong willed, right, and so they couldn't get through it. Some people it takes a little bit more nourishing, you know, for them to get to that those type of levels, right, that type of level of success. Right. Um, So I would not encourage parents to be you know, like extremely hard on their children because you know, like, you know,
it's almost like like like like bending. You know, it was like like bending you know, a code hanger or something, right, you know, keep bending, you know, soon or later that thing or snap. You know. So that's the way I look at it. But man, I was watching being able to have a front row seat and watch what happened.
Y'all don't even know how I made me feel. I was totally inspired watching you and and Chris come even just coming to the studio and you like powering through the interviews even though you were you know, you were sick, but you had made a commitment to do this podcast and you didn't want to let anybody down, including yourself, and you just you made it. I mean, you just came through and you got it done anyway, and and uh,
you know, manh yeah, I saw it. Sometimes you came he was coming from dialysis, and but you got through it, man, and and to see and Chris was right there the whole time. And even when you had your bad moments, Chris was always elevated. His spirits were always elevated, you know.
And so you know, witnessing that and then actually getting to the point where it actually was going down, like being in there the whole night, you know, sitting up in there and and and and and that uh in that room, in that waiting room, you know, knowing what was happening, what was going on at that time, read man, it was it was it did something to my spirit, bro. So man, I just that was something that was something remarkable happening. And I just I want to know, like,
how has the experience changed your relationship? You know it has It is the relationship exactly the same as it was prior to ore. It's even better. I say it's the same because Chris his motherfucking answer say I'm going to song and so so and so, Dad, I'd be right back, and I don't see it for three or four days. You know that ain't changed, right, How has prior to surgery. Everything has been the same. But going up into surgery, I think, uh, that moment for me
brought us a lot closer. It brought us a lot closer. I was always closer anyway, Chris, is in any way possible that you you can get the kidney back? Ragging on you talking ship? You know that do go in and repo to kidney? Is there a kidney repossession program? But I think that was possible? Man Like, Look, man, I changed my mind any I have donal remorse. I want to get my kidney back. So keep so, Chris, because you gave Brad a kidney, Dad, Brad your dad
kid right? Uh? Is there any changes in lifestyle that you have to make? I can say, uh, for the first three weeks they wanted me to eat a low fat diet. But other than that, no, I mean not at all. A lot of people drink uh and smoke or whatever, and these type of things can can can have that very effects on kidney's right have they told Have they told you that you can't do anything like that? It's about just a lifestyle of moderation. Everything everything is
in moderation. Yeah, you know, I mean, I'm not gonna go out and get plaster drunk. But I can have a drink it too. I'm not drinking ship. I'm sucking fifty. Chris, Well, I look like I hope not. I hope you don't. You can't have a drink. That's all the reason not to. It's all the reason not to. R I don't know what he needed this motherfucker kidneyfore he gave it to me. What did you do with You took really good care at myney. It's like, man, well he was a kid, it was it was I took good care of you.
I'm not a crazy drinker like that anyway, you know, Chris, I've seen you funked up. I mean I've been you know. But I don't get like that all the time. That's like maybe like once a year on my birthday. I'm taking that chump to see the Rolling Stones for his birthday this year though. Yeah, you're a fan of Ruling Stones. Am I made him a fan of Rolling Stones? Bro? Man, how long have you been on Rolling Stones? I'm gonna say a good six months. That's good. You gotta start
something right. But no, man, that a lot of performances are pretty awesome. Yeah, he's rock arsenal his deep yeah area to learn. Yeah, I know all the songs come on the old radio, on the radio, the old radio rock and roll radio stage. He's like, what the fun from the thirties? Man, how was it like being raised by brad Man Dane. That's a good one. Let me answer you. It was tough. It was not. It was tough, but honestly, he gave a lot of sound advice. You
just have to figure it out. You have to figure out what the advice. Man. That sh sounds like a red man exactly, that's exactly. Why do you do that? Man? What do you mean? Like like when we had b Samone on the show, you was like, okay, so you gotta some people have Yeah, you don't want to let that ball a lot, and then you have a cow over here? What the hell? Why do you do that? Man? All right, here's I gotta I got it. I got
the perfect example. We haven't dinner one night and we outside and he was like, man, you see that frog at the top of the light pole. I'm like yeah, and he was like man, and you just know he got some help getting there. If you ever see a frog on top of a light pole, I just know he didn't get there by ourselves. There he had to have some help, which you know, everybody needs some help.
Sometimes you can't do everything by yourself. So who helped the from whoever helped that mother he out there, he at the top. Whoever helped you know? I uh, you know, my little cousin, I always got some cool ship to say. And vertis told me one day, I said, yeah, I can't talk to song so, so and so. Man. You know you're like, you know, it's like Nikla be on the back street talking to one of them. He's like
still talking on the back street. Hey, yeah, man, they grew up and you're still talking on the back street. Like fuck, did you get a lot of whippings? Nope, you got one? Yeah, you only got one whipping all these years, one you can remember. There was only one, only one that you remembered that you're really really good because Brad had an anger problem back when you will he had an anger problem? Are you serious right now? I'm not gonna see it kind of coming, do you
see me? Uh like laughing? I really really really Brad had anger issues. Okay, this is the guy who said my mind playing tricks something. Hey, before I made him. I ain't ever said my mind was playing tricks on me. You know, started this ship. How somebody to have the mind playing tricks on them and they not ain't explain? That sounds pretty mad to me for real Christians? All right, so I'm pretty mad, well, know what? Like I'm mad
right now? I mean, I mean, and that's good because you've made some great music with you, some great music when you were mad. So that that works out, man, it really does, no I think about it. But what what are what are you doing? What can you do now differently that then you that you could not do prior to the surgery? Everything? What's a guilty pleasure? Like? What?
What's what's one of the things that you used to be able to do that you used to love doing that once you've got ill and you got on that list that you you had to stop doing and now you're able to do it again. I mean, don't say golf, because I know how much you love golf. What what besides golf? Fucking Okay, you're busy, you're quite active, okay, So here, wow, absolutely incredible. You got that show coming up, the big show coming up. It's a farewell show, right, yeah.
And the cool part about it is I get to say farewell twice because I can go out there and say fairwell by myself, and then I gotta go out there with you and say farewell too. So whenever you're ready to let me know, yeah, are you ready? Not just yet? Not just yet. But I would like to see you do your thing sol you know, uh. I think it's important, uh, for for people to support that.
And I think it's important for you to do your thing, you know, on that stage by yourself, because you you created a lane by yourself that nobody can get in. And I think it's good to see for people to see you do your thing by yourself and then come back and be able to appreciate what you did with the Ghetto Boys. So I am looking forward to that.
We're gonna have a good ass time too. Yeah. Um. And when you think about my career, you can't and and I want everybody to notice, you can't talk about or speak on my career without speaking on Willie because Willie was one of the biggest inspirations to me. You know. I used to man, look, man, if you throw them through my fucking phone, and this is my this is
my iPhone. If you look the only albums that I have in my phone or albums that I funk with right and I have the real original controversy album Bam on my ship it is I got it on my ship and my favorite song on here is all of them but from Mexico triple across from Mascoat. That ship is the ship man. I had a friend, well at least that's what I thought he was when we begin our friendship was stronger in the steroids. I took him in because he had nowhere to go, uh fetish, treated
like a king clothes. One day I came home from work early, uh with a high fever holding up the dog. Guess what I saw him? Making love to a beaver. It was kind of funny, so I laughed, but soon became up tighten because when I looked a little close and I saw that that beaver belong to my wife. Oh. I beat the boy into a coma for the nine to be released. I shot to be several times, picked up the phone and calling police. So that was like like this album Bro, This album that Willie d controversy
album BRO is one of my biggest fucking influences. Is one of my biggest inspirations because this guy got on the record and said, fuck the k k K. I'm had to check that out. That's he got on the record. That's that record that that you make, that album that you make where you just say everything that you that's on your mind. But that was that was That was twenty three years, twenty two years of what was built up. You got a whole another twenty two years that you
can reflect on again. See that. That's why Niger can make albums so dope. And somebody brought this to my attention. I think it was my mama. I think my mama told me this the other week. She said, I had a lot of ship going on my first you know, eighteen years of life, and I talked about it, you know, growing up. Now, excuse me, I got a whole lot of other ship that they went on in my life.
So now I got a whole another story to tell, right, But I'm gonna tell it in a in a in another way, and may and and and may, and I don't I don't think it's gonna be through rap. I honestly don't believe it's gonna be wrapped. Do you think you'll write another book. I doubt it very seriously. You know, I'm done with the books. I'm done with the rapp
um man. You know, if if if I could, man, I would love to fucking go into another lane of music, you know, like another genre, you know, maybe like blues or maybe like rock, or maybe like alternative. Like I wanna do something different now, you know how you just burn the lane like I burned the lane. Like we
we did it, WILLI. We did it. We fucking did it, bro, We did it like everything that that we set to accomplish out there, recording on the pool table with the fucking four track or the eight track with the microphone up against the wall. Remember that ship. We made it, bro, We fucking made it. Man. We got a podcast playing worldwide.
You know, after all of that ship we've been through, from from you kicking motherfucker's out the limo and kicking motherfucker's in the head on stage and beating up the promoters and and and some nice. Man, I shook hands with people and it's nothing. I can't think of nothing nice you've ever done, and sign autographs for hours. He was mad. He was mad, you're talking about I gotta seem like I'm some type of man. I did nice stuff too. I can't think of nothing nice you did.
You bought your mama house. That's it. Okay, that's just what I said. One nice, good, nice thing. That's big. That's a big one right now. Yeah, I mean that's cool. But it don't make up for them, it don't. You don't make up for the fact that we was in bad ruge on train track in the limo. Okay, what I do, man, what I do? Kick the motherfucker right in the ass out the limo? When when? When? When went?
Somebody was leaning over trying to get out of the car, and when the door open, you went kicked him right in the ass. Let me tell you something, bro, Willie. Don't do that. I have never don't do don't say that that's not true. Hold on, I didn't say that. Let me finish. I've never did anything to somebody bad. I never did anything bad to somebody after my eight grade year of high school, at eight grade year of school that didn't deserve it. I don't pick I don't
mess with people man like I really do. Get respect up front and tell somebody and tell somebody's got my respect? Until you don't deserve it. I can say two words that will piss with you all the way off. So I'm not gonna do that. Why would you even think like, Man, we were trying to have We're trying to have a politive conversation. Go yeah, Man, we're talking about Hey, we're talking about how crisp Man life and how you're back in the studio. You know how, back to doing your show,
your top rated show. Man. Everything is beautiful. People couldn't wait for you to get back. You know, they've been been screaming for like, where's brand where Scarface? I hope he's all right. That's what we want to talk about. Man, stop going backwards. You cannot go farward in life if you keep looking backwards. Now, let's talk about that damn kidney of yours. How do you feel, man? So, so here's another thing, Willie that I want to say about
this fucking kidney. Right, So, evidently my kidneys are small, Okay, Chris gave me a kidney. This motherfucker's gotta be this big, bro, because you can still see the kidney imprint where they put it, Okay, and then it's the size of your fist. So about you ain't big is bigger than yours? Chris, Yeah, man, and hind in here. Look at those fists. Put that up, man, people, they have never noticed this about your fist. This man got a fist like Popeye. Motherfucker is big. But I
knew everybody was scared to fight you. I ain't right. You know, you know when we little you know you you put like to stick on somebody show whatever telling movie Brad had you do. This is take off. As soon as they put them knocked it off. It won't even get up that good. I knocked that mother off. I wanted to fight, but now I'm the only ship. I don't want to fight no more. Chris. What's the name of the foundation, The Wayne Sea Wilson Quality of
Life Foundation, Wayne Wayne grand that's just great ground. That's my grandfather. That's old Wayne on my Instagram page Old Wayne. Okay. And that's my uncle to my uncle Waine. Yeah. Yeah, ain't passed when man, uncle ain't been dead for man. See this is you know you should we're not blood related, bro, because this type ship that happens in my family. People be down and I'll be fine. And I like five years later, five years later, Bro, I put up at
the house and I say, what's going on? Man? Get yeah, such, it's such just died last week. I I'm putting up at the repass. I'm think I'm just visiting. Man. We gotta do better. Bad. We can't keep going out. Will We talk on the phone, damn the every day, but we don't be talking about that. Don't say b Yeah it's saying one thing that I'm glad we talked about. Man, is this situation right here the gift of life organ done donating? Yeah, that that's a beautiful thing. You're here
on relationships. Um, it's my dog man. It's beautiful to see, and it's a beautiful example to see. You know, black men, you know who are who have a strong vond you know, because we're oftentimes you know, they try to put it out there like you know, it's something wrong with us, like it's something inherently wrong with us or something. And you don't get to see the stories like this. You
don't get to see the positive images. And it's so the positive images just I weigh the negative images so much. I think I think that Chris is, um, he's a lot more forgiving than I am. You know, because because I don't, Um, I can't say that I was I've been the best father, you know what I mean, I'm not. I'm not the greatest father in the world, you know, but still, you know, I do I try you And I know that we missed a lot of time together
because of you know, different optacles or whatever. And then like like me being young and me being gone and me you know, working on my career and shipped that like that. I think that um, when we started, uh going on the road together and he started learning ship, he's he's it started to make sense to him about you know, why I was like I was and how I am like I am. You feel me like it's it's a it's a lot of ship that that we
did this a young age. Like really, don't forget like I was seventeen years old, Like I was a kid kid and we was putting a position to be grown me in back then. Remember and you know, being a grown man back then didn't really teach your mother how to be a dad. Huh No, So I learned how to be a dad, you know, over the years, and it's just done on me now that uh, you know, I got a nine year old. You know, so you just found out that you had a nine year old,
had to take that chance. Yeah, it really dawned on me, like funk, man, you are responsible for little lives now, you know, like it's it's it changed a lot in me, you know, like, oh ship, like these little people need you, like oh fuck, you know, you gotta say something. So I always, um make it a point that when they need some sound as advice, I want to make sure that I have it. And I tell Chris all the time. Man, anything that you thank you going through or anything that
you think you're doing, like I already did it. So I can probably tell you how to get out of this ship. Just you know, let me know. Don't don't fucking hide it. Tell me, and I'm pretty sure I've been through that ship before. Tell me up front, don't don't wait, and then we gotta we gotta, we gotta fight like a motherfucker to get the ship. Just show me right now, you know, don't if you want to say so someone so, well, this is what happened when I did it, and I can almost guarantee you that
this is gonna happen when you do it. Don'tant to do that. Yeah. So for for um, for my kid, to make sure that my life was extended, was nothing short of a hero, all right. And if you could say something that Chris right now, personally, right now in front of the world, to show your gratitude, what would you say to Chris? You even gotta buy me nothing for my birthday? Dog? And you know what, you you don't even had to buy me nothing of Christmas? Chris,
I got two passes, two paso. That does that run for the Yeah? You know, you know what? And then I think about it, Chris, just keep your money, bro. You don't never have to buy me nothing no more. Okay, there we go, there we go. Yeah, no, no, he Um. I always expressed gratitude to my son for what he's done. You know. For me, I cracked a lot of jokes, um, But it's secondly none you know, the relationship with with with with with my children. You know, it's it's it's
a good it's a beautiful thing. Man. Brandy mad at me right now, but she'll get over it. I don't know Brandy to be mad. Motherfuck, ain't called something? What did you do to make I told her that I wasn't going to a concert. And I wasn't gonna get her no tickets, you man, I don't know the fucking people will Brandy want to go to concert? Brandy gets what Brandy wants and then she'll tell you in a minute. And she tell me, Nigga, you must don't know who
my daddy is, Like, nigga, who is your daddy? But I had to get Black on the phone, Daddy, get the damn tickets for for real man, Black Blast Blash brads nw yo. And she showed us she is a handful too much of a handful. Good Chris. I'm gonna ask you a question. If you had something that you want to say to Brad in the aftermath of going through this journey, that this continued journey that you guys are going through, Um, what would you say? Uh, thank
you forgive me understanding? Understanding? Yeah, yeah, understanding. Hey, I understand me too. Yeah, I feel you. Huh. Couldn't have called me nothing back then? Man, you know this this is in our young podcast history. This has been the most anticipated show for me. I've been waiting on this. I know a lot of the fans and stuff they've been waiting on it too. But I I couldn't wait to do this, this interview. Actually I wanted to do
this interview prior to the surgery. But I think it's even better that we waited, because, Uh, that was questions that I was able to ask that I wouldn't have been able to ask prior to the surgery. So man, it's it's uh, it's been a beautiful thing to just watch you guys. Yeah, he's a real live gang for that ship. You know here just a square from Delaware, square from Delaware. You ain't from no goddamn Delaware, he says, from Delaware, and he wrote from age down. We appreciate you, though, Chris.
I didn't do it for y'all. Yeah, I just did it because it's my dad. Absolutely, any any any son would do that for their father. It's a whole love. They would, it's a whole it's about life. I think any loving song dudes do that, Any forgiving son would do it. Life or death. That's that's that. Let that naked die. Man, that's that. You can't. You can't. That's unforgivable. You can do something to extend or possibly say somebody you got you have to. Yeah, well you must have
did something right, bro, Uh, you gotta go. You got a great sign. Chris is a great Ladies and gentlemen, Brad Jordan's Chris Jordan's thank you little jays man man, how can people reach you? Chris?
