It's fitting that Bret Hart's final WCW appearance is on Thunder, the show where Bret was indended to be the main featured wrestler. He cuts a promo and starts by asking "What the hell happened to wrestling?" before shooting on Vince Russo, BIll Goldberg, and WCW. "The Mother of all Potatoes" Bill Goldberg takes out all of Team Canada. The Filthy Animals defend the WCW Tag Team Championships against the Harris Brothers. Mike Awesome debuts The Lava Lamp Lounge.
