Episode 20 - The Healthy Gut Protocol WHY, HOW, WHAT On this episode we begin discussing a protocol that you can implement to improve the health of your gut. We start by addressing three questions: 1) WHY is Gut Health important? 2) HOW do Gut Problems develop? 3) WHAT can be done to correct Gut Problems?

1) WHY is Gut Health important? Because it influences the health of every system of your body! The Immune System, The Hormone System, The Nervous System and, of course, the Digestive System. In addition, EVERY Autoimmune Disorder appears to begin in the gut… and the big “killers” - Heart Disease, Cancer and Type 2 Diabetes - all are negatively impacted by gut dysfunction.

2) HOW do Gut Problems develop? Poor dietary choices… and stress.

3) WHAT can be done to correct Gut Problems? Eat better and work on reducing/eliminating stress. (Yes, we know that’s easier said than done). Supplements also play a huge role… and will be the topic of our next episode.

Needless to say, we dive deeper into each of these question in an episode that flows quickly and is full of good information.
