Jailbreak Policies Disguised as Criminal Justice Reform

Smart and targeted criminal justice reform is incredibly effective at reducing recidivism and lowering crime rates. I am a champion of policies that eliminate barriers to the successful transition of formerly incarcerated individuals after they pay their debt to society. But like anything else - Democrats saw a good thing and took it way too far. Across the country, crime and homicide rates are skyrocketing, in part due to liberal politicians and judges who advocate for the release of criminals who truly deserve to be jailed.
