If you don't know what's IN The Bible, you're going to spend your entire life just guessing. And because you're an American, you'll be making up what you think Jesus is like. (And here's the thing: Americans almost always think Jesus is just like them. If they CARE about environment, Jesus would care about the environment. If they care about unborn babies, Jesus would care about unborn babies.) Sometimes, you'll guess right, but often you'll guess WRONG. Why guess? Read or listen to The Bible. Regularly. And read or listen to the Gospels and Acts, because knowing is better than guessing.
