Rescued from Distracted to Determined

What an amazing gift the Word of God is in our lives. A collection of writings that have been written, preserved and given to us by the Spirit of God Himself. While we know the power and importance of scripture, we also live in a hyper-distracted world with countless forms of entertainment at the tip of our fingers constantly. There is a war that has been waged for our attention, our focus and ultimately our lives. May we be empowered and encouraged this week to see that we have been rescued from the distractedness of this world to live a life determined to sit at the feet of Jesus as He speaks to us the words of life.
