Love for the Outcast (Meyer)

Inevitably we are going to come across people who are different than we are. Inevitably we will encounter men and women whose lives are even the antithesis of who we are. Could be their life-style...could be their race...could be their faith life. Whatever it is, they are seen by us, perhaps only in our hearts and minds as some sort of “outcast”. But our Lord Jesus calls us to show His love to everyone...not just the ones we love or the ones we are attracted to...but everyone. In fact, you could make the case that the Lord wants us to seek out the outcast and show them the love of God in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ example today we will be reminded that we are to show His “Love for the Outcast” every single day.
