Joshua has been made the new leader of the Israelite people and is reminded by God to Step Out in boldness because God promises to be with Him wherever He goes. Our boldness comes directly from the reality that if our God is for us, then who could possibly be against us? The perfect love of our God has the power to cast out all our fear, and now we step into this New Year with boldness, knowing that our God already stands on the water we venture onto.
