Hope for the Hurting (Meyer)

Last week we considered hope for those who are paralyzed by fear and this week we consider hope for those who are literally paralyzed...paralyzed by the illness and disease that this world brings our way. All of us will experience it to some extent or another, whether in our own life or the life of another, a loved-one, a friend. But is there hope for the physically hurting? Is there healing even if our bodies continue to be tied up by sickness and disease? Indeed there is...healing or not...we remember today that Jesus brings “Hope for the Hurting”!
