Earthly Impurity to Kingdom Purity (Johnson)
In this final week we look again at the reality that we have been SET FREE from the chains of this world to a life of running after & living for the things of the Kingdom of God. Paul says in Galatians 5 “You were called to freedom…only don’t us your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” We have been SET FREE to live a life of purity in love as we give to others the love that has been given to us in Jesus.

Earthly Distraction to Kingdom Determination (Johnson)
In Ephesians 5 Paul reminds these Christians to “look carefully then to how they walk…making the best use of their time”. As we look at our culture today I think it is fair to say we are a distracted bunch. How many accidents happen every year because people can’t put their phones down? How many notifications will we receive from the countless apps we have downloaded? How many shows will we watch and how many hours will we give to sports? Is there a better way? A better use of the time we have b...

Earthy Prejudice to Kingdom Compassion (Johnson)
As Samuel is seeking out the next king of Israel God says to him, “The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart”. Our world is so deeply hurt and scarred with the prejudice caused by sin. Just like Samuel our natural inclination is to judge others based on what our eyes see but God sees differently. This week we confront our own personal biases and prejudice as we are reminded that we have been SET FREE from those inclinations and have been ...

Earthly Greed to Kingdom Generosity (Meyer)
In some of the final words that Paul would speak he shares with young Timothy to be careful not to set his hopes on the uncertainty of riches. To many a great people have lost themselves in the pursuit of the almighty dollar. As we look at our world so much pain, hurt, and horrible actions take place for greedy gain. This week we are reminded that we have been SET FREE from earthly greed to a life of Kingdom Generosity. A life full of good deeds, generous hearts and eyes fixed on the Kingdom to ...
