Episode description

Among the most solemn words spoken by Jesus Christ, is the promise: “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12.

The notion that man will judged according to his works, whether they be good or bad, is a common theme throughout Scripture. Although this in no way teaches that we are saved by works, it does prove that faith without works is dead, and that true religion will always be reflected in words and actions. King Solomon, the great apostle Paul, fiery Peter, and the beloved John, each wrote about man’s probationary time, and the judgment which follows.

Yet how does God judge humanity? What is the standard to which each of us are weighed? And what can be learned from the Old Testament sanctuary service about Christ’s ministration in heaven, and the day in which He returns to Earth?
