Turn me on and burn me down. Happy Birthday to one Marty Stewart, turning sixty five on this September thirty New Lips over the wild Desire and give a kids like the devil Fire you'll kind of love good. Burn it down. Oh, lets me turn me on, burn me down. Stewart started playing guitar and mandolin at the age of twelve, when he joined a gospel

band called the Sullivan's. While he's touring with the Sullivan's, the fourteen year old then meets a member of Lester Flatch packing band Let Me turn me On, and that guy invites Stewart tom with Flatt at a concert in Delaware in nineteen seventy two. He's fourteen, I can't say. Also, when Marty Stewart was a kid, he saw an all grown up country star named Connie Smith performing who was ten years his senior, and said told his mother, I'm gonna marry her. It's like okay, okay boy. Sure he wound

up doing it. Marty Stewart Country is a call of famer. Happy Birthday. Before we look at and look back at significant events and people tied to this particular date in history, including but not limited to these September thirty, seventeen seventy seven to the Continental Congress, forced to flee in the face of advancing British forces, moved to York, Pennsylvania. Get Well It Getting's good

nineteen thirty eight. On this date, after co signing the Munich Agreement allowing Nazi annexation of Czechoslovakia student Land, British Prime Minister Neville CHAMBERLAIND, who was the British Joe Biden at the time, said, I believe it is peace for our time. The man was a stone cold idiot. History has proved that World Series broadcast on television for the very first time in the state in nineteen forty seven. The Yankees defeated the Brooklyn Dargers five to three in Game

one. The Berlin Airlift came to an end on this state in nineteen forty nine. Nineteen fifty five, on September thirtieth, actor James Dean killed at age twenty four and a two car collision in California. The Flintstones debuted on ABC TV on this state nineteen sixteen. Two years later, James Merinith, the black student escorted by federal marshals to the campus of the University of Mississippi, were enrolled for classes the next day. times have changed, really they have. On this date in nineteen seventy two, Pittsburgh Pirates star Roberto Clemente had his three thousandth and final hit, a double against John Matlock of the New York Mets at three River Stadium in Pittsburgh. Days later, Roberto Clemente would die in a plane crash. Let's see

ticking down the list here a little bit further. Two thousand and one, under threat of US military strikes, Afghanistan's hardline Taliban rulers said explicitly for the first time that Osama bin Lan was still in the country and that they knew where his hideout was. Were they lying? Who knows? It's the Taliban? Angie Dickinson, bless her heart, Angie Dickinson, Pepper Anderson, whatever you want to call her. The Policewoman is still kicking at the age of

This morning at nine Mike Allen goes full thor and wields his mighty Gavil of justice on seven hundred WLW. Your forecast has follow us and patchy fogg early again this morning, mostly Sunday as we move on through the day, foggy early again Tomorrow sunny in eighty three for Sunday and Monday sunshine and eighty five. It is fifty

nine and here is Liam Tomlinson, seven hundred W telling you sport. Let's start with some high school scorers. Liam. These scores were brought to you by Cincinnati Children's Changing the outcome together. A lot of blowouts yesterday around Tri State. East Central held Connorsville scoreless, winning sixty four to nothing. Wow. Mason County destroyed Holmes fifty two to nothing. Walton Verona fell to Beachwood

fifty three to three. South Dearborn beat Franklin County thirty eight to six, Holy Cross edge Morgan County fourteen to eight, Walnut Hills fell to Milford forty one to seven, and cuvecalf defeated Grant County fifty six to three. CUPCAF does that to a lot of schools. Yeah, so the Reds last night just pounding the ball like it was the end of the season. Well,

guess what it is. And they've got to win all of the games in Saint Louis against the Cardinals and hope that the Diamondbacks now get swept over the weekend. What was the total tell on last night's game? Yeah, last night the Reds one nineteen to two. The Cuves fell to the Brewers, and the Reds playoff hopes are on life support. We need Dusty Bay, the coach of masterclass for the Astros and sweep the Brewers. I'll sweep the Diamondbacks. Okay, very very good, and you see goes on the road.

Still no success in the Big twelve. Did you say up for that game? Kick off ten o'clock in Provo? No? I was in bed by like ten after nine? Are you kidding me? I stayed up till halftime, But did you really? It's latest like a gout. They'll sleep on the couch. But you see a fella to BYU in Provo last night thirty five, twenty seven and they are still looking for their first big twelve one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll keep looking. Five forty five

seven hundred WLW News Radio seven hundred WLW. You want a bower that delivers a quality cut. That's obvious, but you seven hundred W LW five one, three, seven, four nine, seven thousand the number to get in touch if the line ever becomes available, like Willie likes to say, and it's always available for this young lady, lovely lady Lynette from Florence Park Care. Good Morning one was made ten anniversary as a Kentucky chinel and this choose.

Yeah, I'm went mad needle carry zone put in both knees, so the duck and dance if that was comes? Oh well no, no, wait, this is your twentieth anniversary. Well, congratulations, Colonel Lynette. Colonel pat Lonette, Yeah uh so, and you you're gonna have what done to your knees. I'll hold it down to carry zone shops in both menes. Okay? Does it? I mean, does that does that facilitate you being able to walk? Dear and don't and dance? Okay? So you're

just waiting on that. Well, congratulations. You know I'm a I'm a I'm a Tennessee squire and you're a Kentucky colonel. How about that, let's go we're both I'm a both suck. We's got the whole whoa and we got you brast and he got it baby, and he got the word. God bless you, God bless you. Thank you so much, Lynette.

We'll talk to you next week. And Dick is hanging on the line here in just I found out something I didn't know, and Liam, you were probably spect out on this because you're a lot closer to going to high school football games than I am. I haven't been to one in a long long time. I just found out did in almost all cases around here, if you go to a high school football game, you cannot pay for your ticket with cash. Yeah, now you have to buy my high school. You

have to buy them before the game. For the most part, it's like online on an app. That's ridiculous. It says, hold on a second. So pulling the old, good old Federal Reserve note out of my pocket, it says quite clearly, this note is legal tender for all debts public and private. I think that would include high school football games. We really really need to weed out these cashlest society idiots out of society. And the way you do that is stand up and say no, no. If I

want to pay cash, I'm gonna pay cash. I don't care if it's the Reds game, the Bengals game, high school football games, Belgian waffles, the taste of Belgian place. It doesn't accept cash of any kind because they're commies. They're obviously commies. They're rogue globalist digital currency. That See, the problem with all digital currency is that not only can your purchases and your sales be tracked and say well it's for tax purposes, not a good

enough argument in a supposedly free country. What you have to do is just rejected out of hand. I know it's convenient, it's easy. Oh I don't want to get my hands on all that dirty money. Well, you know what, then you deserve the totalitarian society that you get out of that. Say no, say no to the cashler society. Okay, I'm done, take a break and we'll talk to Dick from Dayton. Next football season is upon us, which means more time spending our living rooms watching our favorite

teams and well making messes. This September let the games begin and worry less about cleaning your home and Zero's carpet and air Doot cleaning their patent A cleaning system gets your carpets and upholstery insanely clean with no residue or harsh chemicals to attract dirt. Take advantage of the sale. Now going on. Three rooms are carpet clean only one twenty nine when you mentioned me, Bill Cunningham, easily schedule online as Zarasinc dot com now zeracincy dot com. Your industry is

unique. It's the picture and grinner just north of Cincinnati. Dick from Dayton is on the line. Good morning, Dick, Good morning, good. How are you doing? Everybuddy doing great? You know what I thought of you this week because last weekend I went and saw a keepsake Kim Kim Kim Rice who takes the photos, and she was there at the anniversary party for this show back in March. Yeah, at the bar the day that you came down. Yeah, I remember talking to her. Yeah, yeah,

great pictures of you by the way, and all of this. Everybody was there and there was a whole a whole page in the book that she put together and it's a beautifully slick produced book. Really great pictures, Dick, even great pictures of you. And it's the page said playing with Dick and you and I are together. It was really nice. Cool, Yeah, super cool that I just wanted to tell you. I had a pretty busy

week. Strummers had a couple of shows and all the bluegrass thing is going good, and I've met a lot of people and we were starting to get the people back in Kennery now because of you know, I think it was the weather and everything, but we had a heck of a crowd Monday Day. Oh my gosh. We were just rocking, rocking, rocking. Well, yes, I wish it could have been eight. Wish it could have been a fly on the wall. But then perhaps it had been swatting.

Yeah, well, Dick, that sounds great that the Reds keep on keep on trying. Man, They're still breathing. They're not out of it yet. No, no, no, I was just hoping, you know, I think they can. I think the Bengals got a good chance Sunday. But yeah, give me, give me, give me the Dick pick Bengals over Tennessee thirty one. Another three point game, Okay, Dick, we'll see what happens twenty three, Gary Jeff Walker with you six minutes past the

hour. No day from Harrison, which many people may see as a bonus. So we will move forward from the corrections department, correcting myself, and thanks to Ron Steamen and people like that who continually are on the ball when

I am not this early in the morning. At the opening segment the history segment, I mentioned that Roberto Clemente hit his three thousandth and final hit of his major league career this date, September thirtieth, nineteen seventy two, and then I made the misstatement that he died just days later in the plane crash.

It was a humanitarian mission that he was going on. It actually happened on New Year's Eve of that year, and Toron I would say, I didn't say how many other days, how many days after the three thousand hit. I just said days after, so technically wasn't wrong. But thank you for being on the ball and being right as you always are or almost always.

And from Zach who calls, who text me and said or actually emailed me Gary Jeff Walker at seven LW dot com, which you can do too, if you'd like to waste your time with that, but I do read them said West Claremont High School games cash only to get into the football game. So maybe we ought to gravitate to going to some West Claremont home games and support good old American cash as opposed to having an app on your phone

or a digital ticket. There's another thing going on that I'm going to bring up a couple of times because we'd love to see you in our neck of the woods in Newport, Kentucky. Today it is the annual flea market on Mama's Street, and I'm going to try and get hold of the former mayor, Jerry Peluso, who I saw a spearheading this effort. As I was coming into work this morning, I stopped at the Cookie Jar Bakery there on Mama Street and got some of the just to share with the guys here.

Some of the most delicious cheese danishes anywhere on the planet from the Cookie Jar Bakery. And this is the only time a day that you can get them, because they're usually sold out by the time the sun's up. But Jerry Peluso was there setting cones down so people could park to unload their flea market goods on the street. They said, Oh, I'll get what you want. I'll buy what you want. It's like, okay, Jerry, that's what you want to do. When he marched in and told the lady,

I got that. I'll get back to you. Hopefully he went in Peter because cheese dantises are delicious and I shouldn't be having them with type two diabetes. But I digress. I believe it goes from like nine this morning until late this afternoon on Mama Street, the entire downtown that's the main drag in Newport will be turned into a huge, giant flea market on the sidewalks.

You know, on the street may make parking a little tough, but you know, some some things you can just walk for, and a flea market is definitely one of those. And it's happening in Newport today. So news and notes out of the way, and still no Dave. We may get away scott free this morning. It's ten minutes past the hour. Old Radio

Rick is on the line. We'll talk to him next. It'll be a Nugger Nugger and Nashville Burro spikes the ball in the back of the Alborough and it's one and two Bengals Henter, Tennessee for a four quarter fight with Ryan Tannehill and a one and two tap the Orange and Black good Win number two Chemical Alive from Dinwood and Dave Left. Faverage begins tomorrow morning at nine on seven hundred WLW, the home of the best bagos coverage, ACR Gun night

Pulls and spaws. Call today, swim this spring once again this morning, some patchy fog out there. It's going to be pretty much the case all weekend. Again, sunny this afternoon at high of eighty one for the flea market or anything else you got after patchy fog after three o'clock this morning or our Sunday morning rather, and then we'll clear out and sunny on Sunday with a high of eighty three. It is fifty eight and again very humid as

in the fog out there. A breaking back on seven hundred WLW just has it, the airwaves crackling with life on a Saturday morning. What a joy it is to be on the radio with you, lady. Run me on the rail and they'll try now in lost of fallen out of the one in your o. Here he is wearing his old brown overcoat and working on all kinds of radios as always. Rick Washburn Old Radio, Rick, good morning, Good morning, sir. I don't know about the old brown overcoat,

but yeah, will that song always makes me happy. It's it's kind of stained. I don't know if it was originally brown. I'm not sure. So how are how are you receiving this this morning? And what are you listening on? If anything? I bought it from the the Harry Folk Estate. Anyways, you're coming in five by five. I am proud to say, I mean, don't go thirty two oh one. This is a nineteen thirty four tombstone tabletop radio. It has six tubes and it works on thirty

two volts. This one is part of the offerings from Delco and other companies for the Delco Light System, which was a set of sixteen two volt batteries and a generator and a kerosene engine that a lot of farms and rural areas rural homes used two power lights and a few appliances in their home when utility power was not available in the thirties, or at least not yet right in a lot of America, that's true, and now Delco was very smart about

this because they designed the system to use standard outlets and standard light bulb sockets. So when the utilities actually showed up and started running the wires, well you had to do is switch out your appliances and the lightbulbs. The bad news is this thing's looking for thirty two volts DC. It's got a plug that'll fit right in the outlet in the wall. When I say, please don't plug him in. It really applied to this one, no, no question. The big explosion, yes, and the smell is not pretty,

no doubt. Neither is the bill. But you but you got it running, just running like crazy this morning. He said, five by five. Oh it's beautiful. Yeah, no, it's it's absolutely a wonderful sounding radio as an oversized speaker and uh in an RS stage, so it's got a little bit of extra intent to help there. And uh, it's just and I'm gonna insult their design folks for the cabin a little bit. It sounds better than it looks. It sounds fantastic, but the cabin's kind of ikey

looking. And is there anything you can do to dress it up? No, it's it's just because the way they designed it it looks weird. Okay, all right, cool? Well, thanks for sharing as always, my friend. If you want to get in touch with Rick Washburn Old Radio Rick at gmail dot com is the address. We'll take a break and come back in Marks. Next update at seven on news Radio seven hundred WLW News twenty four hours a day. News Radio seven hundred W l W. Oh Yeah, I've toasted you. Sit honey, we may be

grown, but you'll never care me. Come back. James traveling east my friend out of downtown Cincinnati, through Hamilton and then Clairemont and then how now Brown County to a place called Brookies on Main Street in Ripley, Ohio, where the gang has gathered again. Good morning gang, Good morning. Oh so it sounds like a two person gang. No, we have a crowd. There's three of us. Oh, there's three, very nice, very nice. You the green hornet and who Mels Darren? And Jack's at well,

you know that's the dog. I know. But if Jack's not there, then why do you feel the need to mention Jack. I'm just curious. Well, taken the day off, we all had to work this morning. Jack seems to be off more than on, right, Isn't Isn't Isn't Jack the hound that like to pee on Sherry's purse? Isn't Jack the hound the one who who you can get to sing? Just these ear piercing yodels? What's yeah? Bring him next week? I missed Jack, So I

tell you what. Who else you're missing? Doug is your wife and the witches of Eastwick, Brown County who are all on a bus or they were on a bus. I guess they're still on a bus. They were going to Salem, Massachusetts. Now, explain what happens here on these trips that your wife is on. I don't know who arranges these, but they leave this area about six o'clock on a Friday night, drive all night, get to Salem where they'll spend Salem, Massachusetts. Yes, yes, I'll be

out. They'll have twelve hours to do the sight saying, get back on the bus at ten pm and head back towards this area. So you're on a bus for twelve hours, then you're on the ground for twelve and then you're on the bus again for another twelve hours. So you're twenty four hours on a bus, twelve hours in your destination. How much fun can that possibly be? That's why I stay in Ripley now. I mean, I've

been on bus trips to like the dog Tracks in West Virginia. Not that long, maybe two or three hours or four hours, and and you're there overnight. That's worth it. But twelve hours on a bus just seems like a long long time. Not me, at least at least you're on't half to travel with kids in a school group. Oh no, that would only that only be worth sir, it would be worser. That's a ripley word, by the way, so it is Vertisonald. So what's going on?

What's going on in town this weekend? Anything? Uh? Nothing? Just good food at Brookies. And Wednesday will be the Queen of Hearts drawing. That'll be up over forty two five and uh, I'll be at seven thirty. Hey, David Gray's driving by. You heard his heart his ordin there? Yeah, he was the here was he? No? Wait, he was the he was the doctor in a coal miner's daughter, right, yeah, all right. He joined us here with his beef this morning. Oh

very nice. Yeah, the weather's gonna be nice and warm again. We're gonna have a beautiful fall week coming up. And hey, Garrett, Jeff, do you know what the mummy's favorite music is? The Mummy's favorite music? Please please tell me it's rap music. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I I'm sorry. Dave, you were supposed to call at six o five. What's the Tarrabiza's first name? What the tower of pizza in Tower Piso? What's his first I didn't know it had a first name. What is

it? Yeah, Eileen, I knew you were missing Dave. I'm making a kermit. I'm making a kermit the frog face right now, which which must mean the conversation is over. Thank you, guys. Have a great weekend. right now, seven hundred w L dummy sports. Now the Reds pound the Cardinals. Does it really matter? That's the question. Liam. Of course, it matters as long as you have a chance. He just's not over until the fat Lady sings Reds one nineteen. She's warming up, she is, microphone is in her hand, for sure, but nineteen to two. That was a beat down of mammoth proportions. Yeah, Adam waynewright even gotten that bad for the Cardinals last night? Well, uh, I don't know

that. This guy Woodford might be might be a fine taste as a shot of of fine bourbon. But that Cardinals picture did not farewell into the second ending it was seven to two or seven to nothing rather, and then the Cardinals finally put a couple on the boarding nets all they would get. The

Reds are not eliminated yet. If they sweep the Cardinals, and you're figuring the Diamondbacks get swept who lost last night, then the Reds find that third and final wildcard spot, right yeah, especially with the Cubs losing on a walk off to the Brewers last night. Dusty Baker and the Astros are fighting for the Als crown right now. It's kind of a long shot for them, but if they can sweep the Diamondbacks helps them, That helps us.

Dusty Baker can get a win for Cincinnati, finally, he never got a win for Cincinnati in the playoffs before, but but maybe getting us into the

playoffs will be good enough. We were talking about FC Cincinnati Yeah, FC Cincinnati plays across the border in Toronto to night kick off his set for seven thirty, and with the win to Night, they can secure the Supporter Shield, which is the award for the best regular season in the MOLS, and that would be the first trophy FC Cincinnati has won as a Times of Professional club. Yeah, it's an MSL club. But it got to my high

school scores. Yes, high school scores are brought to you by Cincinnati Children's changing the outcome together. A couple more blowouts. Indian Hill defeats Reading thirty seven to six, Moler dominated Elder thirty eight to seven. Cooper steam rolled Connor forty one seven, Roger Bacon shut out Summit Country Day thirty four to nothing. Mathis six forty seven at seven hundred w l W the Saturday morning edition and Gary Jeff Walker with you, and to the phone lines we go. It is Steve from Eton, Ohio. Good morning, Stephen, how are you? Good morning, Gary Jeff. Let's have a theme here of now versus then okay, but first on this balanced budget before we get into f DR versus by noomics. The last time we balanced the budget was a nineteen sixty eight.

Now, I've been challenged on this on the internet, but I think I hold my own. It is true that under three of the budgets during the Clinton and New Teenrich era in the nineties, they did technically balance the budget, and that is significant. But the fact of the matter is, as any an economist or accountant would warn you, liabilities are not in there.

For instance, there is a huge debt in the old Agent survivors account that is owed you know, to the citizens of this country, and that is not in there you're talking about what we're talking about, the required mandates of Medicare, social Security and the like. Exactly, yes, and that's something to consider. But anyway, lbj's last budget was nineteen sixty eight, and the way he balanced that budget, Remember, we had a whole bunch of new social programs. We had the war in Vietnam. We had a

ten percent tax searcharge that hit everybody. Just think about that. Okay, let's go back and compare the New Deal with Bidenomics. Both had catastrophic consequences and we're still living with the second. Very First of all, the New Deal, there was a huge increase in the federal debt. Gosh, isn't that what's happening now? In twelve years, FDR rose the debt one thousand

percent. Four years into his New Deal, there was a recession. How can that happen when you're dumping all that money from the fiscal programs, and of course they had to borrow to do it. On the economy, they were coupling a huge debt with large interest rate hikes. Will stop right there, that's what we're doing now. This makes no economic sense. FDR should have started with lowering interest rates incredibly they raised them when people were unemployed and

we're groveling for money and couldn't afford to buy things. Then there's fiscal policy. By the way, there's monetary policy, which of course the Fed, and then there's fiscal policy, which is basically what Congress and the President are doing now. The public works projects in the New Deal, generally, some of them were quite good. TVA, for instance, says the Valley Authority and Electricity program for the South. Even very Goldwater said this was a great

idea. Infrastructure projects were good, but they went crazy. The government always goes crazy. It starts out with some good projects, and of course the dirty people involved, and there's all kinds of shenanigans. By the way, the harmful regulations during the New Deal, well we have that right now, don't we. They destroyed one of the things that the economists thought with a

good idea, destroy all the supply to raise demand and prices. A couple of years ago on this show, I talked about my grandfather's situation where if the Agriculture Department guy came by and told him he had to slaughter all of this hogs, and he looked at the guy and said well, I used these to feed the people at the county home. He said, no, no, no, we're cutting supply so that we and raise prices and a

depression. You want to raise prices, and my grandfather this family story ends this story by saying, that was the day that I became a Republican. Let's talk about Joe Biden for a second. Joe Biden sides with the auto workers at a strike. I'm always hesitant with a president's sides with either side, and in this case, a lot of us arriving at the conclusion that

both management and labor both have been vastly overpaid. Believe me, I'm the first one to say that these CEOs have out landish, unwarranted salaries, but I know that the workers do too. Anyway, the point is, the reason the workers are complaining that they can't afford their mortgages is the fact that there's a clunker called Bidenomics. And let the end. You know, I always see the you know, the other side of the screen when I see

government programs that on the surface look really good. We've got a proposal for a thirty percent military pay raise for the lowest grades. Now, now come on, I mean, can we really oppose that. But I look at the what's behind this and I and honest to God, I think what's here is a message to these lower grade and listed that are going to get the thirty percent. We're giving you a hell of a raise, and in turn, please shift the hell up with regard to complaining about CRT and jabs.

You're going to get jabbed if we tell you, you're going to get a jab and we're going to have CRT. Uh. You know, I'm cynical, but that's the way government works. Scary, Jeff doesn't. Well,

here's the here's the whole issue. Whenever government gets involved and you said taking sides one side or the other, the auto manufacture or the UAW, and it doesn't matter what it is. Anytime the government takes sides in business and offers these subsidies for this insane EV climate crisis cult, and that's exactly what's what's doing this to the auto industry right now, all these forced robotics and EV manufacturing because we've got to save the planet. It's all nonsense. Number

one and number two, this is what is precipitated this strike. When the government chooses winners and losers everyone winds up being a loser. Hey man, there you go. Thank you see Steve from Ettan, Ohio this morning six

fifty four seven WLW tri State Ram truck buyers. Here we are at the end of the month, and we have plenty more show to go, so don't worry about that because it's not getting worse. As the climate alarmis tell us

it's actually doing this better and better and better. Stick the more carbon the better is a matter of fact. Steve Schulty, environmental engineer, extraordinary. How are you doing? My friend better? I deserve has always been jet you wanted to talk about last August being this this AUGUSTE Okay, you said talk to you tomorrow morning in your text regarding last August not the hottest August ever, you talk about the August just concluded. Is that what you mean?

You got it? You got it? Yeah. This comes from is one of my favorite sources, Heartland dot org. The weekly Climate Weekly, number four eighty three of this past week. The headline is August temperature anomaly undermined climate claims, Climate emergency claims, that is, and the meteorologists and

the heartlanded suit. Senior fellow Anthony Wattson I think you've paid him on your program has long pointed out that the US Service temperatures derived from data gathered by what's called the Cooperative Observer Networker Group I call it minister by the National Weather Service, is corrupted by urbanization. What we call urban heat island effect that

produces a bias. Anybody been around concrete asphalt doses, so it makes things hot or especially at night because of concrete asphalt, machinery and other materials reasons. Survey done by Watson volunteers found at ninety six percent of the stations are corrupted by the urban heat island effect and also violate the National Weather Services published standards for quality measurements. So right there that data should be not used.

Unfortunately, back in two thousand and five we have the National West Service made this the US Climate Reference Network, which is I call it us CORN for these are triple redundant, state of the art, ultra reliable weather stations located in pristine areas that are not now nor will likely ever be harmed by the urban heat island effect and a measure precipitation temperatures, windspeed, soil conditions,

a lot of other things across the US and Alaska, Hawaii. So back in August, you know, we had a pretty darned hot August, and guess what everybody was saying. You know that the people were using the coop op or coup data to say that this was the hottest summer in history or the hottest summer and recorded history. I heard it. I heard it repeated over and over again by just non thinking talking heads on television. Yes, yep, of course they used the coop the corrupted data. But there's the

alternative. If we look at the US CORN data tells a much different story. In fact, Gary Jeff August was not the hottest in history, or the hottest in the recorded history. It was not even the hottest in the last eighteen years the US CORN system has been up and running. It was the fifth hottest since two thousand and five, the fifth lodest, the fifth post. We're getting hotter and hotter in the last see years. Yeah,

well, it's all about. It's all about. The sky is falling, and it's it's our it's our choice whether we're gonna be chicken little or you know, have some common sense and use good data. Thank you, sir as always great information from Steve Shulty at seven to eleven at seven hundred WLW. Meanwhile, in the enchanted forest, Goldilocks walks into a house, Hello anyone here and decides to enjoy an afternoon. I'm listening to Eddie and Rocket.

Those guys, they're funny. Here's incredible guests, amazing news and lots of life funny, but be careful. Goldilocks bears live in that house, so they're harmless. Perhaps you aren't sleeping as well and feel foggy all the time. Time. Now from the Tom David's diaries, I like to refer to these as a madman Tom, what are you gut? Good morning Gary,

Jeff this week making yourself look taller with a false belly button. But first, Wendy Goldstein was living her best life in Texas, watching TV with her parents and her daughter. Went a pig burst through the front door. It attacked her parents and her daughter, snarling, foaming at the mouth. They were able to get away and locked themselves in another room and call animal

control. Animal control shot it with a non lethal ammunition pack and it ran off, but the three hundred pound pig came back the next day looking for more trouble. That's when Dad took out his rifle and shot it with a very lethal round, finally ending the problem for good. Ever heard of Westlake, It's up near Cleveland. That's where a sixty six year old grandpa was

arrested for walking around dressed like Michael Myers, complete with fake knife. Now it turns out he was playing a game with a six year old grandson, which I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse. Once the cops got there, he tried to explain, but he was picked up for aggravated menacing. The boy was returned to his parents. The newest Chinese craze has aid in America. And no, it's not twenty four hour surveillance or even

communism. It's fake belly buttons. For just five bucks, you can get a sheet of stick on belly buttons you can use in selfies to make yourself look taller. And finally, his name is Coldep Sing. He went to the hospital with a stomach ache and a high fever. When doctors took a look, they realized they had to do emergency surgery to empty his stomach of foreign objects. They found lockets, chains, nuts and bolts, headphones, safety pins, over sixty items in all. He apparently suffers from pica,

a condition where people feel compelled to swallow non food items. Next week, he had a dream to be the world's shortest mail ballerina and he was crushed by following equipment during rehearsals. Have a great weekend. I'm Cordell Wilson Pro Footballs Cincinnati two and oh in their last two meetings against the Titans. Are all eyes going to be on the Cincinnati offense this week? You know? I think obviously they're going to be if they can take the next step forward

offensively. But this is a Bengal defense that last week showed that they can be an elite defense in the National Football League, and Tennessee is an offense that's struggling. They had ninety four total yards last week in that game against the Cleveland Browns when they lost twenty seven to three. So yes, the offense needs to get better. They need to find more rhythm, they need to find consistency. But it's a lot easier to go through those struggles offensively

when the defense is continuing to get stopped. So a lot of eyes on offense, but the defense should be able to have another solid game on Sunday. Well. The run defense one of the areas in which I guess the Bengals have struggled this season. Right now, Bengals ranked as one of the worst teams in the NFL against the run. To step it up this week, you've got to stop Derrick Henry. Yeah, they have a great chance.

I thought throughout training camps at the def ensive line was going to be the strength of this team, and through the first two weeks they didn't show it. They did show it on Monday Night Football. Again, this is a Derrick Henry team, or a Derrick Henry led Titans team right now. He had twenty rushing yards on eleven carries last week. So this isn't the Titans team of years past that is just going to run it forty times and

they're going to run it for one hundred and eighty yards. They are struggling to find their rhythm. So this is an opportunity for that defensive line to get right to really have an impact in this game, and I think it's a great opportunity for him. Is this a must win game on Sunday.

Yeah, I think so. I think when you look at the grand scheme of of what this schedule is going to do, I think the next two or must wins, because if you can somehow get to three and two going into that Seattle game and then you've got to buy right after that, you're putting yourself in a position where all is not lost. You know, if you get to one in three and you look at the schedule left for the buy with San Francisco on Buffalo and you got Kansas City and all the AFC

North teams, then I think you're in trouble. But I think you win these next two, you put yourself right back in a position borrowing any setback from Joe Burrow that you can get and still reach the goals that this team set in place before the season. All right, Tony Pike Bengals Update, Thanks so much. We're back with another week of football and Draft Kings Sports

Book is keeping us in on the NFL action with great starts. Your weekend is temperature climbed to the low eighties with lots of sunshine in the afternoon. Similar tomorrow starting off in the upper fifties, little warmer in the afternoon, still the low eighties from your severe weather station. I'm nine first warning meteorologist Cameron Harden on news radio seven hundred WLW well reported all the airport right now

fifty seven degrees at seven thirty six. I'm Sandy Collins. Next update at eight on news radio seven hundred WLWAR News twenty four hours a day, News Radio seven hundred wl W. They are gone, but not forgotten, our three spotlight artists. We remember with rock and roll archaeology. Ship. You check my nerves, then you're rather than my brain. You about your love drives A man is singing. You brought my will, the water thrillers, Ray's just great, Ball the fire. I have to love what the father?

This mine? You came along and moved my heart and I changed my mind words fine and the little It's just right, Ball the fire kiss baby, it was good. I'm the baby Well, I just I love the ship are your mine? So you kind? You tell this world that you try, and you try little done, and I twitter all my fun I'm will all nervous. Body still is finn ol me. It looks on me crazy in this group. It's just right, Ball the fire my first if driving him crazy was the target, it was a pretty short ride in the

car for Jerry Lee Lewis. The killer would have celebrated a birthday yesterday, born September twenty ninth, nineteen thirty five. A guy who knew him, and spend some time with the crazy man with the gun and the bottle of liquor. Jim Lebarber, the music professor, joins us to reminisce a little bit about Jerry Lee this morning. How you doing, prov great, Jerry Jeff, down all the stories you hear. If you hear a crazy story about Jerry Lee Lewis, is that I can't have and that didn't happen.

Yes, it probably didn't happen. That's the song, Jerry Jeff. That was a signature song, and he did it in nineteen fifty seven, became a number two million seller, featured in the movie Jamboree. Told a million copies first ten days of release. He's in the studio recording the song and he gets in an argument Jerry Lee Lewis's previous hit to his whole lot of shaking going on. This song just like that, filled with sexual innuind though

let me love you like a lover shot. You just heard it. He was shocking for a Southern guy making a record like this with a religious background, religious household. And he was arguing with Sam. He said the devil said Devil's music, Sam and Sam Saint just recorded. Jerry Lee just records the song, just sing it the way you were singing it. And they get a serious argument, and it went on for a good while, and people who saw it it was just it was almost hilarious. So he records

this song and then the next month it comes out. He's touring the United Kingdom with Chuck Berry and with Buddy Holly, and the news comes out and he married his thirteen year old cousin, the daughter of his bass player j W. Brown, Mayra Jale Brown, thirteen years old, and all of a sudden, all heck breaks Luis and they comes back home to America. Record buying public here turned their back on him. Just jockey's turned their back on him and the people over the years. You know, one of the

many rock stars that were influenced by him. Eric Clapton said, I remember the first Buck and Roller I ever saw on TV, Jerry Lindois doing Great Falls of Fire that through me. It was like seeing someone from outer space. And over the years that thing is sold over five million copies. No question, the killer still alive in our hearts and on the radio anyway, up next to another person that some people would say was taken too soon. Now, Jerry Lee wound up living a long, long life, outlived a

couple of his wives. But Mark Boland also would have celebrated a birthday this past week. Correct, yeah, today, today would have been his birthday, but we lost him. He was twenty nine years old when he died. He had a number ten record in America, one hit Wonder nineteen seventy two, Bang of Gong, Get it on. Now. His kid, who in England at the age of nine, got his first guitar, began

a little skipple band. When he's in school, he's playing in a group Susie and the Hula Hoops, a trio whose lead vocalist was a twelve year old girl the name of Helen Shapiro. Now, if you know anything about British rock and roll, I don't know how Helen Shapiro didn't have hits in America because she had giant hits walking back to Happiness. Look who it is if you just google her name. She's a superstar Beatles. Everybody loved Helen

Shapiro. It's okay. She started off with Mark Boland, you know, in this little group and during the lights breaks he played for the kids in the playground. At fifteen, he got expelled from school for bad behavior. Signs with Deco Records and they give him the name. His real name was Mark Feld and they gave the name Mark Boland and he makes the records. He's big over in England. He's toy in America and doesn't have a hit, and he's kind of having hit and he writes this song. The song

he's all about sex with imagery. But if you listen, it's it's vague, very something'siconic. To listen to the thing. A prutish listener wouldn't take offense to this because if you listen to it, he keeps calling this girl dirty and sweets. But you really if there's specify sexual connotations in like Hub kept Diamond Star, Halo, a clot full of eagles And the biggest suggestion is the title, and they changed the title over. There was just getting

on. But there's a group called Chase here a good group the year before, and they didn't want to confuse people with the title, so they did bang a gong getting on And that's the most sexy thing about the thing, except they recorded this thing and they actually wrote the song. He's on tour in America and they're in Los Angeles and they're at Howie Jalen's house and Howie Caleen and Mark woman with the turtles, right, and that's where they wrote.

They started to write the song. That's where the idea came in, and he just had dirty and sweet, that's all we had. They go to the studio and apparently influenced greatly by cocaine, they recorded this song and this is a great example of glam rock, you know out where he just asked them that constumes the nonsensical lyrics, that driving beat, it's all there. And he also has another Chuck Barry in this at the end of the song. Meanwhile, I'm still thinking and that was off of a little creamy

and he loved Chuck Barry. So that's in the recording. Two and this play will look at it tis you said that Eric Clapton described Jerry Lee Lewis as being from outer space. I think Mark Poland would have qualified too if he saw the glam rock stuff in the in the seventies. Here, crack it up, lead back, will your build black and call your card a hop cap down and start. He should be like a car out here and

we go huntan. That's the truth. Your cloth full of he girls, your duty sweep in your mind, girl, he ad when you'll be wid You got the losing shoes on the stark he design. You wouldn't mean one out here. We will build black and call because no really, cocaine was

involved in the recording this go figure. Remembering the late Mark Boland on the anniversary of his state of birth on Rock and Roll Archaeology This Morning on seven d w l W Gary Jeff with the music professor Jim La Barbara with the stories behind the music, and up next the third Jim Our Trinities concluded with the late Marvin Leah Day, who you had the occasion to meet and get to know a little bit. Yeah, what a guy and a giant record.

Now we lost him on Wednesday. Wednesday would have been his birthday. We lost him a while back in remember eleventh record in nineteen seventy eight. The meat Lookee let her notice Meatloat, and the Meatmote name came about pently he was born. He was bright red. He stayed that way for days, and his dad said he looked like nine pounds of ground chuck. And he actually the hospital staff to put the name meat on his crib, and

then later the initials m L referenced to his initials. But then he started to put weight on and kids started teasing him, saying meat loaf in school. But then he told me the story. He was like two hundred forty some pounds and apparently on the football team, and he accidentally stepped on a football coach's foot and the coach y all to get up my foot to you, uncle meat Loaf, and it stuck well. He was in the original

La Roxy cast of The Rocky Horse Show. Great voice, theatrical kind of voice to Big Range in nineteen seventy three, said he did the movie and then he got together a guy named Jim Steinmann and they did the Jimmy was a great writer, and they had the Bad Out of Hell album and had that album. This song came about. This song. Jimmy Stimon wrote the song and it was an actor's friend of his, and they were sitting around and he was complaining that no one liked his stuff and couldn't get a record

deal. And she said, Stanny, your stuff do your stuff is just too complicated. Can't you write something simple? And on the radio while she's saying this, an oldie station is playing I want You, I Need You, I love you the other song, and she said to him, Stanny, write something like that. It's simple. And so he went home and he said it was very complicated. He couldn't think of something. And then he came up with the line I want you, I need you, but

there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you. Don't be sad because two other three ain't bad. There was a little twist on the ether song, but you know it's just the cliche. You know. I was your date. He was tall, his handsome, you know, and incredibly boring. And that's where it came about that meat Look did it on Saturday Night Live in March in nineteen seventy eight, and then the it just took off like

crazy. Yep. Absolutely, we remember the late Marvin Lee a day meat loaf from Bad out of Hell in the classic two out of three ain't bad. Thanks Jimmy seven hund w l W. Maybe we can talk on night, but that is getting a snow way. I told you everything I possiblic can. There's nothing left inside. Maybe you can cry night, but that never change away a feet the snow is really badside how miss you may believe me? My party on boarted out. I trying to show you just sound

Someday I just stand well that I was only one girl. But I will ever love And I was so many years ago, and no, I'm know I'm never getting out of my heart. She never loved me, I know, but I remember how she left me all the storm and die or she kissed me out of the ben and no hot be here. I'm up. That turned not to walk out that door. She had

to bat and turn ride and she kept on telling me. She kept down Helma. I want you, I need you, but there ain't no way I'm ever gonna love you. Two out of three ain't bad. Brenhaman and Jones on Baseball, Just ahead on a Saturday morning, Anthony Munho's here, you're number one player. She wasting recycling and by Kemba Creti you on seven hundred, telling you well, telling you the home of the Reds, Tracy. We head into the final week out of the twenty twenty three baseball season.

It's going to be a wacky finish, more so because Miami and New York were suspended in the ninth inning for over three hours. A game will be made up if necessary, or the finish rather will be on Monday. So things are kind of up in the air right now. The Reds will remain a game and a half back of Miami, who currently has a one half game edge as the third wildcard team in the National League. I have never watched so much pall these last couple of weeks. I actually watched a

lot of that Marlin's game. Last night, I get a little tide. I had to go to sleep. I had to get my rest for the show. But it's been it's been great. You know, the Cubs, I watched that whole Cub series. Cubs are done, by the way. I mean, they could have won all three of those games. They lost three games. But look at the schedule. You know, she got Chicago, Milwaukee, Pirates in Miami and then you got the Reds and the Cardinals. And don't I mean even Arizona has to play the Astros three games.

I mean, I think the Reds have a real shot. I really do. Well, they almost have to sweep the Cardinals. There are five and five against Saint Louis this season. They almost have to win all three of the games. And even if they do that, they obviously need help. But mathematically, who would have thought back on Opening Day that when the Reds start to play game number one sixty they would still be in the hunt. Cardinals are just awful this year. Last ten games, three and seven.

They're gonna lose over ninety games this year. Incredible, Gregu and Saint Louis first of the final three regular season games of two thousand twenty three. With a postseason birth hanging in the ballots, We'll be back with more just a moment. Tyler Stevenson here and I know catching these days. Going green is certainly catching on, but the Rumki family and the company's four thousand employees have been going green. He's the season, as I mentioned, hangs in the

ballots for the Reds. As far as the postseason been is concerned. This show is the same thing. We could be on the air on Monday. We may not. This may be the final show of the two twenty three season anyway you cut it. It's been a little slice of heaven. We've had a great time. It's something I look forward to a year and a year out because of the relationship that we have and the fund that we have and the topics that we talk about it. It's been It's been a real

blast, man. You know what, I start getting choked up in our relationship. We are extremely tight and to work with you. You are so good and so talented, and when I'm stumbling and bumbling around, you always pick me up. You're responsible for all the great topics that we come up with. I'm just so lucky to work with you. Do you want to say something nice about me? Well, yeah, it's fun to work with you. Uh, you know, that's that's the best I can offer you.

But I do want to thank that we get people that recommend topics and one of the guys that is consistently good for us all years, Andy Furman. We got to give him a shout out. You come up with some great ideas, and you know, I'm sure we'll talk off and on over the course of the off season. You are a seasonal friend of mine and I you and so we'll talk about topics that we may begin to twenty twenty

four season with over the off season. Yeah, if I could just give Red's some advice and just and write this down, Marty, the Reds need to take it this series against the Cardinals, one game at a time. Have you ever heard that before, Marty, No, I've never heard that. I just wrote it down and I may bring it up on Opening Day next year. Have a great honor season. Last week I was up at Saint Lawrence, kind of the Saint Lawrence Golf, Saint Lawrence Gulf Seaway. I took a cruise out I took I took a cruise out of Equie Quebec. That's wild. That sounds really good. Was it fun?

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. A lot of different places Northeast I've never experienced before. I'm just awfully glad that I came back to TSA before they we're going to have to work without getting paid because I don't want to go. I don't want to I don't want to tick off anybody not getting paid. You don't want to get angry. You don't want an angry gets all right, so well now you're suggesting bribery. What do you got for us this week? No, no, just to help them get by

the rough time. So okay, all right, Uh, but we see when we left you wanted to talk about the the exo planet James Webb. Yeah, so so what this is is, uh, the James Webb telescope. They spotted an exoplanet one hundred and twenty light years away in the constellation Leo, and uh they named it K two eighteen B. It's organing a cool dwarf star K two eighteen. And what's neat about this planet? It's in the hable was hadible habitable zone of the of the of the of the

star. But they detected dimethyl sulfide and carbon molecule like methane and carbon dioxide. And what's neat about dimethyl sulfide is that only living organ must said the

wrong order right. Organisms produced the the d MS dimethyl sulfide, and they detected us through the telescope through a spectrum of the of seeing the light come off out of the planet, and they saw that the it contained this this this molecule and uh, they're going to do some more uh of the analysis of the planet to see if it's accurate, accurate on what they what they've

been seeing. So so it would take us one hundred and twenty years if we had a spaceship that actually traveled to speed of light to get there. Yeah, and no one, no one would survive that. But no. And the planet is probably is hydrogen and uh and a lot of water. So it's not not not really like this guy. People sitting around watching cable TVs are listening to the potential and the probability of actually life on that planet

is pretty high. Yes, it is a giant water world. All right, man, Well, thank you very much, appreciate the homework, and we'll talk to you next week. Science Mike, so long. All right. They are all kinds of weird colors, you know, from the air, because of the minerals or whatever that they were were mining in them. But in the mountains and everything else. Yeah, it's

really really cool. A friend of mine used to travel. He was with rock and roll bands and he was like a light tech or a sound tech or something like that, and went on a trip to Boise, Idaho, which he said, no, it's pronounced Boise. They all they all say Boise. And he said, well, what can you tell me about Boise? And he goes, man, they got some of the hottest chicks in

the world in this college campus. Believe how beautiful these women are. And he lived in Nashville and there's no there's no shortage of beautiful women there. But so, and that's what I know about about the West. It's the mountains are beautiful, the land scenically it's beautiful, as you mentioned, and apparently in Boise the women are beautiful as well. So not a beautiful result

for the uc Bearcats last night. After seemingly controlling BYU for most of the first half, they let they let BYU go on that eighty yard drive to take the lead at halftime. Yeah, you could almost feel it in real time, you know. I think with thirty six seconds ago, UC head out gained them by two hundred yards. They had overcome you know, the pick six by Henry Jones earlier in the game, and they were they were really dominating. I mean that, you know, going into that last drive

before the half BYU had punted on every single one of their drives. They just had three consecutive free and outs. And you could just feel it when when they went down the field quickly and took the lead before half, you could just feel all the air coming out of the balloon. It was so deflating, so disheartened. And then in the second half, you know, name the mistake and the Bearcats made it from you know, muffing a punt, some coverage errors. Obviously they had the pick six earlier in the game.

It was a really really frustrating knife for the Bearcats in the game that I think they could have and one might argue they should have won, and so they got to wait a couple of weeks to get there another chance at a big twelve win. Anyway, but I mean, this is where everybody thought that the Bearcats would be at this point in the season, pretty much,

right, yeah, I think so. I think what sort of looms over everything that happens now is the fact that they lost to Miami and no knock on the RedHawks, but I think, yeah, you know what, to a agree, everybody thought this is where they would be. I don't think anybody thought that they would lose to Miami. And I think the frustrating thing is, you know, the Oklahoma game, the defense did everything you

could ask. They held a really good offense to twenty points. Cincinnati couldn't put the ball me in them themselves, and you know, sort of the same thing last night for a while the defense did a really really good job and the Bearcats couldn't capitalize. But yeah, on a macro level, this is not only what everybody expected. It's the Big twelve. Now, what's what everybody signed up for. And now, often, in any situation with

football, especially, defense is always ahead of the offense. Generally, I'd say that's a blanket statement. That's not always true, but for a lot of a lot of teams it is. Let's move on to the Bengals going to Tennessee tomorrow and facing the Titans. Get can the Bengals shut down Derrick Henry like they've done almost every other time they played, because seemingly nobody else can but the Bengals. The only thing that usually shut down Derrick Henry is

an injury. Yeah, how do the Bengals seem to have such success against this guy who's just a behemoth, incredible runner when he healthy. Yeah, one hundred yards exactly one hundred yards combined. And the two games that the Bengals have played against Tennessee since twenty twenty one, on thirty eight carries, they've been great against them. I think number one, because the Bengals have

a very good defensive front when DJ readers healthy. I think the other thing is they can afford to maybe take some chances against the run because I don't think they trust Ryan Tannehill to beat them. And I think, to me, that's the key to the game tomorrow. Right, you can, as we say, stack the box against Derrick Henry until Ryan Tannehill go ahead and try to beat us. And I don't think Ryan Tannehill can. So you're

right, they've done a really, really good job against them. But I think more than anything, it's it's a reflection of the fact that the Bengals up front on defense led by DJ Reader have over these last two games, has been very, very good. Yeah, Joe Burrow, I mean you're seeing it more and more. You're not seeing him be able to scramble yet, really the way Joe Burrow can to extend plays. You're not seeing him

take off and run yet. But don't you get the sneaking suspicion that no matter what the what the medical staff tells you, or Joe Burrow or the team tells you about the calf injury, that he is slowly coming around back into form. It just, I just I don't have any evidence to support that. I just it's it's a more of a feeling that I'm having watching

as the progression happens over the last couple of games. Yeah, I mean, he did not play great on Monday night, and you know you the fact that he played to me was an acknowledgement he's not going to be. But I think what you're hoping for is and what I think is going to happen is U Joe is just going to get more comfortable, more comfortable with what he can and camp do, more comfortable with playing through the pain that

he's dealing with right now. I think, more than anything, you gotta figure out a way, especially in close games, to not have him throw the ball as many times as he did against the La Rams. You know, at one point he was on pace to throw it like sixty times. That paced slowed in the fourth quarter. You can't have him drop back that many times. Even if Joe is making the decision to pass instead of hand

the football off, That to me is going to be interesting tomorrow. Do they have a game plan put together that puts a little bit less on Joe? But yeah, I expect him to play not great, there are things he can't do right now, but I expect him to play better as as the weeks move on. Yeah, I mean, it's just a matter of time. And you know, these kind of injuries take time. And we're seeing that play out the Reds last night. I mean, where was this

against the Twins? Where was this offensive out first when it really really would have mattered. You know, we're down to the last three games of the year. They're in Saint Louis, which has been a you know, a division nemesis for as long as anybody can remember. The Cardinals not having a great season, I mean to say the least, but nineteen to two, I mean, there's there's still a chance mathematically that the Diamondbacks have to lose, have to be swept, and the Reds need to sweep to grab that

third wild card spot in the National League. But I mean that was I mean, what a celebration of this team. I mean, the youth and the electricity, and it was all there last night on full display, and you know, maybe two or three games worth of offense along with it. There's still a chance, mo, but it's just I just want to see him finish with the flourish, you know, to kind of celebrate the incredible season. Nobody expected them to win eighty two games, you know, much

less sixty five. Yeah, you know, I said that on Sunday, I just after they blew that guy nothing lead on Saturday night last week against Pittsburgh. I you know, I just to me, it was don't let that be it. Bounce back and finish strong and do things that are emblematic of what this team has done all season. And they've done that this week. And you know, they're a long shot, obviously, but the season ends tomorrow and there's still a pathway for this team to make the postseason.

I don't know how that doesn't excite you. At the same time, I think you are being completely fair if you go, you know what by tomorrow if if they're on the outside looking in by a game, you can't help but wonder how things could have transpired a little bit differently had the front office acquired an extra piece two months ago, which obviously didn't happen. They had more players play in a Reds uniform this year than any other team I believe

that's correct in Major League. They had more one run wins and losses than any other team in the league. And they had all of those injury days. And you know, Matt McClain lookedlo Hunter Green for a large part of the season, and injuries are I understand, a part and parcel. It goes along with the territory of playing a Major League Baseball season mode. But all of the things that they have had working against them and they still come

out above five hundred for the year. I'm just really impressed. It really does bode well for the future. And you know, this team, you know, we talked about it back in March. If the Reds were going to be remote competitive, they were going to have to get really good years by Hunter Green, Nicolodolo, and Graham as if that trio was going to

have to be a great well. Hunter Green missed about two months, Graham Ashcraft will end up missing, you know, in total, about two months, and Nicolo Doolo has basically missed the entire years, say for four starts. And yet here we are, and they've the contributions they've gotten from, you know, due to you just don't really expect to get contributions from the impact of that. So many of these young players have made that bode well

for the future. It's been remarkable and and again, you know, you certainly hope that they can win the next two and get some help from either Houston or Pittsburgh this weekend. But I think everything we've seen this season should make you feel really good about where this club is going, regardless of what happens today and tomorrow. Thanks Mo having great man.
